I'm not sure but I feel like she doesn't "hate him" "hate him" per say, she just sees him as someone who has all the bad luck on earth and is a walking corpse so she treats him as someone that's already dead and doesn't have feelings but yes they haven't told us why she's hell bent on him dying. I honestly don't think the writer has any explanation for us about that part. Maybe the patron god she offered herself to is a demon that likes tormenting people 🤷 cos it doesn't really make sense

I hope they don't give her a soft landing at the end. All those their " she redeemed herself" nonsense.

I saw the first two episodes last week and honestly, I don't know if I will watch it to the end. I only started it because of the male lead, liked him since Goblin. Just try the first episode and see if it's your cup of tea.

I just don't get her hatred for the male lead. Let's say his family hired her a shaman for his 'deliverance' or whatever, why is she moving heaven and earth to kill him? She even went as far as cursing the grandmother in death just because she loved the boy. Seriously, it will really be a satisfying ending if he is her son.


Also, I hope they get to explain why he was born with the curse.

I just have one question for the writer of Head over heels. Do they want us to enjoy romance or not?! Haba their own is becoming too much o. If gyeonu is not fighting for his life on the brink of death, he's being possessed by ghots. Biko when will they actually have a peaceful day when they can be a normal couple 🙆 I already said it after the first 2 episodes that it was like lovely runner but now it's beginning to be more and more like lovely runner cos that's how that drama took one million episodes for the villain to die🙄 at least the cuteness of these ones is still making me patient but they need to wrap it up biko. By the way, I've been happy that this writer actually gave us a good, cohesive story but e be like say Dem don smoke some of the weed wey bitchxrich writer smoke cos what was the final minutes of episode 10? This writer wants me to believe that jiho was worried about bongsu refusing to return gyeonu's body, he didn't discuss with seonga, he didn't go to seonga's spirit mother or the other good shamans but he went to yeomhwa? The same yeomhwa that he called scary and evil but with feeble powers? The same yeomhwa that I'm sure seonga must have gisted him that she was the one that had been disturbing gyeonu? He now believed her and carried ring and gave her?? MBA that one no make sense at all, it's unbelievable and uncharacteristic of jiho's personality. They should have found a better way to write that part better. Anyway I need the drama to do and end. I like it but if they're going to keep dragging things out and moving from one villain to another, they can just end it today biko. Its already getting tiring.

By the way I've always thought choo young woo and his younger brother are some of the prettiest siblings in k-ent but omo I saw a video of their dad when he was around their age (their parents are both retired models by the way) and lmao they are not fine at all cos their dad was/is wayyy more gorgeous. If he was young and active in this era he'd be everywhere and I'd actually build a shrine to worship his hotness🤣. That reminds me people are just weird I remember reading a comment where someone said they hated choo young woo cos he turned his back on BL's and started playing straight characters and I'm just like 🤔 People dey high o. Anyway his younger brother just had his first acting role in a BL movie, I guess by the time he becomes more popular and starts playing straight roles in regular dramas he'll also gain another hate🙄 lol funny how both brothers started as models, then dabbled in bl, I bet we'll soon see the younger brother in a regular drama. I so agree with this your view. Another annoying thing for me is the wicked shaman. How is she not dead yet? And why is she hell bent on killing the male lead? It will be poetic justice if it turns out that he is her dead child's reincarnation. I know it won't be so but the idea will 👍.

I can definitely relate to your experience. Recently, I was chatting with someone new to Korean dramas, and our conversation naturally veered towards discussing some of the popular dramas of the year. One of the series we talked about was "Study Group," which they hadn't seen yet. I confidently told them not to worry because I had a copy saved on my flash drive. To my dismay, I later discovered that I had actually stored it on a different device that I no longer had. I felt bad about disappointing them, but despite this mishap, "Study Group" remains my top favorite drama for the first half of the year.

Interestingly, I had downloaded "Vincenzo" late last year at a time when there weren’t any new dramas captivating enough to catch my interest. Despite all the buzz around it, I downloaded it with some reluctance, and even after doing so, still couldn’t find the motivation to start watching. The situation wasn't helped by the frequent power outages from NEPA and other distractions. Then, unexpectedly, a break period came along that turned into an impromptu holiday, and I found myself extremely bored. It was around April or May, nearly four months later, that I finally decided to give "Vincenzo" a shot. To my surprise, I thoroughly enjoyed it and was kicking myself for having postponed watching it for so long. I still have it on my phone and have watched it about four to five times since then. Such dramas, along with favorites like "Business Proposal," are perfect for lifting your spirits whenever you need a mood boost.

I will get to the ones I have saved but haven't seen yet. I haven't added to the unwatched ones in a while. Like I said, I have watched but saved about three.

How can you even forget how season 1 of alchemy of souls ended? That last scene scarred me for life. I still remember the narration of season 1 in s02e01

😀. I remember the plot and all and I know that she stabbed him even when he knew she was been controlled and would kill him. He died and was burnt but survived. I just want to refresh my memory in other aspects. May God help me. In my attempt enjoy myself while watching it, I left it for too long.

If you eventually want to give sageuk another chance, just start with Alchemy Of Souls. I just remembered now that that's another drama that I downloaded but haven't watched. The season 2. As it is now, I have forgotten how the season 1 ended so I will have to do a refresher inorder to understand the season 2. 🤦

Normally when I watch the first episode of a drama series, I know if I will love,enjoy,manage or discontinue it. If it's a drama that I will love because the first episode was really good, I will decide to binge the rest. I just download all episodes as they are released weekly and watch when it ends. In fact, I have the ones that I downloaded for same reason and haven't seen till date. Eg, One The Woman, Business Proposal, etc. I still have them saved to watch later. They are a few however, that I really loved but have not been able the stop watching to binge later....Knight Flower, Study Group, When The Phone Rings and Head Over Heels. But unlike other dramas that I watch and delete, I don't delete these one. They are saved in my flash drive.

Hunter with a scalpel has ended. It had a really good story but man the characters were Soo annoying. I can't believe the only adult character in the whole drama that didn't annoy me was the villain 😩 God abeg. Everyone else was stupid with a capital letter S! Infact in the last 4 episodes, every time I saw the police guys, I could literally feel my skin go hot cos my blood was boiling lmao they are slow, stupid and annoying 😩 I said it last week but I've never really seen a worse drama police team like these people. Suddenly in the final week they were now getting angry at their ogas for not allowing them investigate lmao people that the criminal was literally under their nose and they couldn't catch him. I feel like the writer of the story hated the characters he created cos that's the only excuse I can come up with for their lack of sense. Also the male and female leads keep repeating the same mistake. Oga told aunty, next time anything happens tell us, don't try to solve it on your own, I will help you. What does she do when her dad came looking for her? Kept it to her fu((king self! Oga keeps saying trust me, trust me, when she tells him she'd like to help, it became no you can't 🤣🤣 lmao in the first place does he even inspire trust? You had 12 whole episodes to catch the bad guy and you couldn't, why should anyone trust you. If not for that watch, they wouldn't have been able to save seeun. Anyway aside from the silly characters I actually enjoyed the drama with the kurukere subtitles. I was surprised eunseo was a real life child and not an imaginary friend. How did the dad manage to raise her so far away from his evil deeds and how did she not notice the weirdness. That part was a bit ehhhh for me but I can still understand it since he's not her birth father. By the way, shout-out to the kid actresses in the drama 👏👏👏 they were amazing in their roles. Poor eunseo's death was totally avoidable and unnecessary but original seeun was taught not to trust anyone which is why she refused to ask anyone for help while the girl was dying, I'm glad she was able to forgive herself. I like the happy ending. Finally she was able to use her father's weakness for her to end him and even though they didn't give us full on romance, they did give us a hint just like in face me and I am grateful for any crumb I can get. I really wish we saw that forensic lady betray her boss cos I know that is how their matter will end. All the time they spent showing us incompetent police people, they should have shown the end of those forensic people.

Head over heels continues to be so good. I'm loving it. Thankfully it seems the writer isn't going the love triangle route cos uri 2nd male lead has calmed down and is being the best friend ever lol I love him. Thankfully there's someone else who has a crush on him so here's hoping the writer directs him that way.

I had downloaded upto episode 7 of Hunter With A Scapel but had only watched episodes 1-5 when I read your review last week. After reading it, I just went and deleted the episodes 6 and 7. I was struggling with it before then but when in your review you said the characters didn't improve I felt there was no need to continue.



I am also enjoying Head Over Heels. Concerning the second male lead, did you miss the part where the class president now likes him 😀. It was nice seeing her blush when he touched her face ( the scene after the gym class where the first and second male lead went to wash their faces and the ghost carrying girl brought her phone for the second male lead to speak with the female lead).
