BluntNigerian:Oh oh oh....I see your line of reasoning. There is usually one accreditation template/register for both elections. That's not possible. I got it missed up |
BluntNigerian:Ideally it doesn't make sense but its not illegal after all. It will be assumed that some people got accredited but were only interested and voted in the presidential election |
BluntNigerian:U don't seem to get it!!! Let's assume there were 500 registered voters in a particular voting unit, that unit has two strong contending senatorial candidate from the area. The people in the unit agrees to let election go ahead the way it ought to be in the senatorial election as both candidates are from the area but all agreed that the presidential election votes should all go to party XYZ because the VP is from their area. Now accreditation is done for the 300 voters who turns up for the election, after which all the remaining 200 absent voters are ticked as accredited and ballot papers thumb printed for the party XYZ for the presidential candidate as there is no opposition in the presidential election in that particular unit. If u have actively participated in the conduct of an election in this area you will grasp the concept |
BluntNigerian:I'm not justifying these actions. I'm only telling you what's obtainable in most of these areas |
Bluntsisi:I don't know which part of the country you are but I can frankly tell u what happens in Elections in most states in SS & few States in SE. There are no elections in some areas. Everyone in the community goes with the tide. They only go to the polling units to receive handouts. We've seen great disparity on voters turnout for election conducted within the same period |
I think there was a consensus among various political parties in some areas in Anambra state to vote PDP for the presidential election and as such proper scrutiny was not done by the political parties. I assume presidential election accreditation figures and votes were simply allocated in some units whereas actual accreditation was used in the national Assembly elections |
ignis:C'mon who are u blaming here? Is the unarmed young man or the uncouth policeman? I really wonder how some of us think in this country. In the US were we have record deaths from covid 19 how many people have u heard has been killed from trigger happy security men? Or are there no violators there? We better start thinking straight honestly |
That's quite impressive if true. If Only the Nigerian Armed Forces can apply the same vigour and tenacity in the fight against the terrorists the Boko Haram scourge would have been a thing of the past. |
d33types:Bleep off!!!! |
d33types:I want to believe you work in the ministry of communication or MTN otherwise shut up as from both their (communication minister & MTN) submissions there is no evidence that a license have been issued. Furthermore if that license have been issued to MTN there must have been a memo stating that as in the case of the testing. |
xpool:The govt said tests were conducted but no license issued yet. I believe you were among the informed folks that were happy about the news of 5G. Other advanced countries were currently working on their 5G infrastructures until this COVID-19 pandemic and the attendant rumours/link to 5G networks. We should not be in a hurry to trade blames. We should look at issues critically and criticize when need be |
I thought PMB promised to lead Nigerian troops to uproot Boko Boys once elected? Or was that a fiction of my imagination? |
The Govt said they have only carried out the initial testing but no license to operate 5G network has been issued. From the available information there is at least no pranks been played by the government. The government has its weaknesses no doubt but we should be more pragmatic in our vindictiveness/criticism |
Breaking!!!! Vice President Osibanjo has tested Negative to the dreaded Corona Virus. This was disclosed by one of His aides this morning https://www.vanguardngr.com/2020/03/just-in-osinbajo-tests-negative-for-coronavirus/ |
BUHARIISCURSED:I won't dignity you with an intellectual response as long as Obaseki OWN YOU (SLAVE) |
oz4real83:They've not been silent. They are in shock mode. They knew this battle wass definitely lost the day oshiomole survived the attempted removal |
Realistically even if Obaseki is given the APC on a plater of gold there is no way he is going to win the general election as most APC stakeholders will definitely work against him. They will rather bring Anini from the grave and make him Governor than voting Obaseki to continue. Obaseki has burnt all bridges leading to reconciliation |
osazsky:Which law are u talking about? Ekweme & co contested against Obasanjo among other cases. Nobody stopped anyone from contesting against Pmb. People didn't challenge him cos they felt thy stood no chance against him |
switspin:So what wins it? |
If they are sure of their political credentials why not go all out and contest the primaries? Featherweights claiming Heavyweights. |
Witcher:spending N37m on phone calls in 3years? |
Op How Market? |
Its really funny how this country works. The on certainty here is oshiomole resumes work tomorrow |
[quote author=dinachi post=87494040]Who made the announcent? Tinubus Newspaper, the Nation! Wait for authentic news![/https://www.vanguardngr.com/2020/03/breaking-governors-disagreement-force-apc-to-postpone-nec-meeting/] |
Oshobaba stays |
It goes either way! There is nothing fake about the story. Even as a student a handful of girls have offered themselves just sit close to me during exams |
sholay2011:Seriously a friend had one |
Shame on PDP! You can't successfully defend the indefensible.. They must be biting their fingers now. I imagine how they(PDP) will come and campaign in South East in 2023 when the bridge is completed. Because they've always used the bridge as a bargaining chip. Or is it the Enugu(Akanu Ibiam) Int'l Airport? Jokers!!! |
seniormallam:Who's behaving like a thug? Are u well at all? |
Yemi Osinbanjo, Donald Duke, Peter Obi all good to go |
The blame game has now infested PDP too? We are in for a long ride...... |
