Leyqute: What’s the point in losing possession 100 times from crossing if just 10 crosses will find its target? (I’m being generous with the 10). It’s either too high or too low.
Plus we don’t have any attacker who is good in the air. So, of the 10 accurate crosses, maybe 2 or 3 gets to the promised land.
What’s the point of gifting possession to your oppponents if it will rarely benefit you?
There are other ways to get goals against a bus parking team. Outside shots will open things up, free kicks too, and you can move the ball swiftly around and create spaces with your movements.
Don’t get me wrong , crosses are good - but only when you are to a good extent certain that they will work. 2 of martial’s hattrick the other day were low crosses into the box. They should work more on stuff like that. That's why we have low crosses.. watch how Bayern play |

eph12: That's due to the coach. They probably only train passing into the box. Exactly what I've been saying about our full backs. Their lack of crossing is due to style, not that they can't. football these days is more about whipping high and low crosses... see mancity, Bayern, Liverpool even Chelsea are now going that root |

We need better fullbacks... When the middle was congested we should have been going to the flanks to stretch the opposition.. our fullbacks just offer nothing in attack.. modern football these days requires lots of crosses.. |

Increasing cases indeed, wait they were expecting the cases to just start magically dropping all of a sudden. 100k tests carried out after 4months, that's less than the population of a LG area, where other countries of our population have tested millions and we're expecting cases to drop. Where other countries are using rapid test kits to test millions, NCDC blocked use of rapid test kits, using only lab testing that takes days for results to come out. Some of the positive cases coming out today are people that got the virus weeks or even months ago. When a country has clowns for leaders, na we the people wey go dey suffer. Health › The NCDC Is Doing A Poor Job by ovoP(op): 12:08am On Jun 23, 2020 |
Since the outbreak of Covid19 in the country, they've been series of lockdown in states around the country. Inter-state movement have been restricted to essential goods and services.
Citizens have been given guidelines to follow to limit the spread of the virus. but over 4 months into the lockdown the NCDC has only been able to test a little over 100000 people. The country isn't set to open until we reach the peak and cases start reducing.
The NCDC are doing a very bad job, because we test a little above 2000 people a day, this is very poor. If we are going to get to the peak we should be doing at least a 100000 test per day. We look at countries counting over 10000 cases per day and we think we have it better here. It ain't better here. countries having high number of cases per day are able to locate the carriers and isolate them quickly, as soon as possible. so they can move on with their lives..
At 2k test per day, it's equivalent to NCDC doing nothing, at this rate we'll never reach the peak. We'll keep getting 600 & 500 cases per day even till d end of the year. That means our lives won't return to normal soon.
2k test per day assuming we've been doing that from January to December is just above #700k Una country of over 200 million people that's very poor..
The NCDC will have to increase testing capacity greatly if we are to go back to our normal lives.. |

NewDelhi: These scholarship schemes like addax, nnpc, agbami etc. The government needs to scrap it because truth be told, you students barely use it for anything tangible. Many will end up buying phones, gadgets a d new cloths. That isn't the definition of a scholarship. Although some use it wisely tho but the fraction is just about 20%
nengibo It's no reason to scrap it... Scholarship has helped a lot of students stay in school... An average student always have needs by the time u pay school fees and accomodation, money don finish |

Emmaway: Since this is in the Education category I'll assume this is for academic purpose...
I'll say a laptop.
1. There are lots of things you can do with a "good" laptop. Although smartphones tends to do some of these things, the laptop certainly do most of them better.
2. Less distracting We all know how distracting the smartphones could get, a little beep and we check our screens... because it's pretty easy to do. With a laptop, you're less distracted because it you don't get the same level of "instant gratification" you get on your smartphone
3. Laptop is better
4. You can learn much better
5. You can learn other digital skills which is a necessary accessory in today's world. IYKYK! access to information with a laptop is poor... The school system where u could be somewhere and the next thing u hear u have a test the next hour |

blessedchild234: of course schools can't remain closed forever but how do you ensure that social distancing rules are being followed even an average Nigerian adult find that hard to do. Or you dont think corona virus is deadly , or it isn't in Nigeria or you think I don't know people who have died from it look there's nothing the government can do as for now or do you think if they know wat to do they wouldn't have ? People who disregard the rules are the uneducated among us.. The govt don't know what to do because they are not seeking for solutions.. they are just testing people everyday hoping it will reduce one day... we'll keep having cases till d end of the year even if there's a full lockdown.. I believe Corona virus is in the country don't get me wrong.. but staying at home doesn't necessarily make us safe from it.... it's much easier to control young adults than adults and kids.. they could also be policies put in place to test students in various institutions say weekly or daily but divided into groups so one can take d test at least once a week... The timetables will have to change to limit crowd.. semesters will take longer to finish, but it's d price to pay to return to school... all these can be put in place if only the government plan towards it... That's for higher institutions ooo.. for secondary.. the JSCE ANS SSCE candidates should be at schools at least for the sake of their exams that will have to be written... third term can be scrapped... and the govt should plan better and safer safety measures for a new term.. their curriculum will be shuffled to enable them learn all the've lost.. |

blessedchild234: School should be the last thing on the minds of the federal and state government, are they going to release the little children that they can't exclusively control to the helm of the virus although people are tired but things can't never be the same again. Things can never be the same you say, that means children will never go to school again.. Schools should resume gradually... The reason schools are not open, is not to protect the children but the parents |

Fearlez: students have stayed longer due to strikes. What use is a degree to a dead student by the way.
I suggest the federal government tarry til there's a drug or the virus strain weakens.
There's been reported good progress on drugs which will be out shortly. The virus isn't really fatal to young people. students are even younger.. it's only those with underlying health conditions like asthma that are at risk and when u know you're risk, you do well to protect yourself.. it's not like these students are not exposed at home |
Education › Re: Guidelines For Reopening Of Schools By Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba by ovoP(m): 12:21pm On Jun 17, 2020 |
Fearlez: let's put the scenario this way.
Schools are opened nation wide. All these students alight from different places of the state in different transportation services. One or two picks up the virus. Comes to school washes hand at school gate, washes hand at department gate, wahses hand at lecture hall.
Then sits in a crowded hall with no space, goes to cafeteria to eat lunch. They talk , laugh play in a class seating a hundred people. How long are they going to keep up before we see a rise of covid-19 cases?
The schools will even become lax within days of opening.
The truth is that the very nature of Nigerian schools cannot cope with covid-19 no matter if they put a stream of sanitisers there.
Too overcrowded, too disorganised. Actually they can.. classes can be divided... the overcrowded classes you talk about are only found in Freshers classes and some 200l classes.. we actually overrate this crowd of a thing... When we know it's only general classes that are crowded. |
