In addition to what you just said.. the Nigerian National Assembly in 2015 passed into law the Violence Against Person's Prohibition Act (VAPA 2015). This act has redefined rape.

By virtue of the Act in Section 1 (1), rape occurs when a person intentionally penetrates the vagina, anus or mouth of another person with any other part of his or her body or anything else without consent.

Look at the definition and you will understand that men can be raped too.
