Romance › Re: Female Bashing/shaming On Nairaland Is Pathetic. It Needs To Stop! by Owliver(m): 6:10am On Oct 07, 2015 |
netizenbuzz: I'm sorry but how does that justify female-bashing? I think you are only looking at it from one side of the spectrum. I for one would not date a broke or jobless guys at a particular stage in my life for the sake of his ego and the sake of my peace. If I've got a job, why would I want to date a man who doesn't have one? You won't wish that for me if I'm your sister na. Or maybe what you really mean is dependency on guys. Then that I can understand. My primary reason for not wanting to date/marry a broke guy is because of my kids. That cannot come and suffer na. In fact, I always tell my folks that I won't have kids on till I'm sure I can care for them on my own. As for myself, I can take care of me because I hate feeling indebted to someone else in the first place. On this issue of dependency, it goes both ways really. For men it is financial, for women it is in other areas of life. Till tomorrow, I still don't understand why my dad would wait for my mum till midnight before he eats. I'm always like, do you want to die of starvation? Is it not basic human instinct to eat when hungry? So that type of dependency is a turn off to me. When I raised it in a seminar not long ago, it was brushed up as not important. But believe me, a lot of ladies think that way. I feel that is why some feel entitled to your finances. It's like give and take. I am of a different opinion but unfortunately my type is lumped up with the rest and breeds of stereotype just like many other things. That's really the point I'm trying to make on this thread. if a rich guy can date a poor girl which u see as normal then why cant u date a poor guy as an employed lady? equal? you are not ready for equality trust me |

There is this young girl i like alot. before i could get her talking it took over a week. me sef tire. she was always forming "i dont make calls, i dont go to mens' house, i dnt i dont. the one that vexed me was when i traveled to lagos my friends(guys) asked me to buy something come ooo and this girl also asked me to buy her something. i was short of cash so i ignored my padis them(they understood sha) then i bought this crazy girl mcvitis short bread(500naira) as a corper na.... she couldnt even come to my place to collect it chai can you imagine, i went to her place to give her and she collected it and said "I dont chew buscuits, i will give it out thanks" that day was and is still the saddest day of my service year. what she said didnt pain me but for the fact that i ignored my friends' request and got her something made me look foolish. till today i have not dialed her number. bad rubbish. if next time now a girl ask me to buy her something i refuse now them go say i stingy. bastarrds |

successinlife: Naija women can form over sabi. Hmn foreign women are hijacking most naija men nowadays, what is wrong with showing love to your husband to be. He will look elsewhere if you don't show him love and want to ride him.The response of most naija girls self sometimes will put a reasonable guy off,i was chatting with a lady yesterday and the response just put me off.Simple question, what is your height and weight, after duly giving mine turned to fight after hash response of can't you see it on my profile? don't you have eyes?it is not too good to be too strict or not polite to simple reasoning.
Because of pressure of marrying a naija i have seen the clear differences in foreign and homegrown ladies. Our naija girls can jump too quick to conclusion,God help us. the ones that are young are always rude and stoopid meeehn. i tire oh. when they get older now they will be loyal to everyone. thats why i dont pity them |

Mynd44: All I see here are "accused of" and "allegedly" please come back when you have any sensible reason to wail and cry. The truth is that you PDP goons are so hypocritical that you say people are innocent until proven guilty but only limit it to when people like Kashamu, Stella Oduah and Diezani are involved.
Please name one of them that had been indicted, had a case running in court or has ever appeared in court in relation to corruption.
Name one that has been convicted or hush up. We are not here for the usual crap the PDP does. It is funny that PDP supporters whose "hero" had ministers like Obanikoro criticize Fayemi.
Fayose has been screaming that Fayemi stole money since before he became governor but up till today not one allegation against him.
As for Fashola...please keep wailing. But while at it, point to one person that can stand him in intelligence in the PDP. Is it Idris Wada or Akpabio? Lmaoooo.
I even thought he will mention Kemi Adeosun or something like that. Pointlessness is your thing now.
Have fun....I can bet a wánk fess is about to follow so let me watch and laugh at your arrogance mixed with ignorance
Wait, do you people know that a 12.5kg cylinder of cooking gas is now 2,500 Naira, Kerosene is 50 Naira and diesel sells for 110 Naira?
These PDP folks should go bury their heads in motor oil abeg even naija made 3kg cylinders sell for above 3,000. you must be drunk |
