The police authorities have redeployed the Commissioner of Police in Lagos State, Mr Imohimi Edgal, Channels Television has gathered.

Mr Edgal was redeployed to the Force Headquarters in Abuja as the Commissioner of Police in charge of Explosive Ordinance Unit, a source said in an exclusive interview on Sunday.

The police authorities also asked an Acting Commissioner of Police, Mr Kayode Egbetokun, to take over from Mr Edgal as the new police commissioner in the state.

French authorities want to ban the couple from naming their lad in honour of the World Cup winners because it could cause 'problems'

The parents want their baby boy's name to be a permanent tribute to France's World Cup-winning heroes Antoine Griezmann and Kylian Mbappe.

The child was born earlier this month in the central French town of Brive.
But officials are less than impressed with the parents' choice and are seeking to ban the couple from being able to use the name.

Authorities tasked with ensuring children's names have flagged the case to prosecutors.
If prosecutors share the opinion that such an eye-catching name could cause the child problems in life, a family court could order the couple to change the name.

Authorities believe naming the boy in honour of the World Cup winners could cause it 'problems' later in life.
