How many times have we all watched an incredible music video that ends in “ To Be Continued.. but never is there a part 2? What if movies followed the same formula as music videos? Imagine if the Nollywood classic, “ Beyonce: The President’s Daughter ,” concluded with just part 1! There would be so many questions left unanswered! Does Ciara ever get proper facial reconstruction surgery? Does Beyonce finally end up with Raj? Does Raj ever find true happiness with the woman he loves? Well, thankfully, those questions were answered in the sequel. It is too bad that music videos do not have the same likelihood of continuity as Nollywood. We all probably can relate to being left hanging at the way a video ended because it did not provide us with necessary answers. Here are a few of my favorites along with questions that need answering! 1. All of You by Davido: After the woman sneaks off in the morning with Davido’s belongings, does he ever get his stuff back? Does Davido file a police report or does he believe in the no snitching street code? Does he run into the thief later that day or even later in life? Ah Sesan! You must explain am! 2. Gobé by Davido: Is Davido tortured to death by the grey bearded antagonist or does the latter have mercy and let him go? Whilst the torturing is occurring, where is Davido’s entourage? Chairman Adewale? Where’s Shizzi? Maybe when Davido yells his signature “Shizzi” drop at the end of the song, he’s actually crying for help! 3. Maserati by Shatta Wale: What type of business was being conducted chalé? I was scared for Shatta Wale for a second! All those serious faces and Italian opera music in the background; glad everyone shook hands and the SM boss was happy with the outcome. Will Shatta Wale do business with that gentleman again? 4. Rihanna by Orezi: After the bashment party, where do Orezi and Miss “Rihanna” drive off to in the Lamborghini? Do they hit an after party? Perhaps, a more- ahem -private after party? What’s Miss “Rihanna’s” real name? She dey Naija abi? 5. Make Me Sing by Diamond Platnumz & AKA: After the police make the bust, who keeps the money? Do the girls run off with it? Do the officers collect it as evidence or keep it for themselves? How many years in prison do AKA and Diamond Platnumz get for their crime…or does the African duo escape from prison like El Chapo? If Director Nicky uses that plot twist for the sequel, be sure to credit me for the concept! 6. Super Woman by Wande Coal: After the police raid the home, was there enough evidence to convict the boyfriend? In light of recent police brutality and shootings, was justice served for the shooting of the girlfriend? Is she in critical condition or did she die, unfortunately? Jesu Chrisi! We need answers Moe Musa! 7. Hello by MC Galaxy: After the wedding, does MC Galaxy have a family. How many children? Any twins? Kehinde & Taiwo? Is MC Galaxy still a palm wine tapper or does he inherit some of his new family’s fortune? We may never know. Sigh! 8. ADD YOURS..........

Jude Ndukwe, the SA Media to detained Director of Media and Publicity of the 2015 Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Campaign Organisation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, has said that the former minister of Aviation, has met his bail conditions as set by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC but the anti-graft agency has refused to release him with the aim of forcefully extracting statements from him that would implicate his principal, former President Goodluck Jonathan, PDP chieftains as well as publishers and editors of major newspapers in the country. Ndukwe, who disclosed this in a statement made available to newsmen, alleged that the EFCC have other opposition leaders whom they have referred to as “big fish” in their radar and see Fani-Kayode as the only avenue through which they can “nail” such leaders, hence, the anti-graft agency’s puerile attempt to keep him in their custody beyond the legally required length of time in order to break him, his family, and force him to implicate innocent people just to achieve a more sinister motive of further silencing the opposition. He added that 'It is even more worrisome that the activities of the anti-graft agency has reached an all-time low as they are insisting that the former Minister of Culture and Tourism should name publishers, editors, journalists and bloggers he allegedly gave money to during the election campaigns. What has journalists who covered the PDP campaign as much as that of APC got to do with this? This is the height of it all!' He alleged that the further insistence by EFCC that Fani-Kayode should deposit a sum of $1m before he could be let go shows how desperate the agency is to keep him in their custody and deny him his fundamental rights as guaranteed by the constitution. Ndukwe noted that Fani-kayode 'acknowledged in the past and still do that EFCC have a constitutional and mandatory duty to carry out their statutory function as empowered by our laws, it is also our sincerest belief that these functions can be carried out within the ambit of the law and without being tainted with vendetta, vindictiveness and politics' Read full statement below This is to refute the false information being peddled by a section of the media that former Minister of Aviation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, who has remained illegally detained by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) since May 9, 2016, has not met his bail conditions as set by EFCC. Chief Fani-Kayode has since fulfilled the conditions for his bail but rather than take the honourable path of releasing him pending any charge brought against him, the anti-graft agency moved him from Abuja to Lagos where they obtained a questionable warrant to further detain him illegally for another three weeks. This is all in a bid to forcefully extract statements from him that would implicate his principal, former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan and other PDP leaders including serving governors whom he served as Director of Media and Publicity of the PDP Campaign Organisation. It is obvious that the EFCC have other opposition leaders whom they have referred to as “big fish” in their radar and see Fani Kayode as the only avenue through which they can “nail” such leaders, hence, the anti-graft agency’s puerile attempt to keep him in their custody beyond the legally required length of time in order to break him, his family, and force him to implicate innocent people just to achieve a more sinister motive of further silencing the opposition. It is even more worrisome that the activities of the anti-graft agency has reached an all-time low as they are insisting that the former Minister of Culture and Tourism should name publishers, editors, journalists and bloggers he allegedly gave money to during the election campaigns. What has journalists who covered the PDP campaign as much as that of APC got to do with this? This is the height of it all! The further insistence by EFCC that Chief Fani-Kayode should deposit a sum of $1m before he could be let go shows how desperate the agency is to keep him in their custody and deny him his fundamental rights as guaranteed under Sections 33,34,35,37 and 41 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999 (As Amended) and Articles 4, 5, 6 and 12 of the African Charter on Human and Peoples’ Rights (Ratification and Enforcement) Act Cap 10 Laws of the Federation of Nigeria 1990. This further confirms our position that even though he has met his bail conditions, the EFCC have no intention of letting him enjoy his bail nor do they have any intention of playing by the rules. While we have copiously acknowledged in the past and still do that EFCC have a constitutional and mandatory duty to carry out their statutory function as empowered by our laws, it is also our sincerest belief that these functions can be carried out within the ambit of the law and without being tainted with vendetta, vindictiveness and politics. These are what discredit the agency and cast doubts in the minds of Nigerians about the sincerity of the fight against corruption. In other climes where the fight against corruption has been largely successful, suspects are thoroughly investigated discretely, arrested after investigation has been concluded, charged to court and punished if found guilty by a court of competent jurisdiction. But here, we declare our targets guilty in the media, arrest them before commencing investigation and use the courts to obtain contentious orders to keep the suspects in custody indefinitely in lieu of a court-imposed post-prosecution sanction. The EFCC should allow Femi Fani-Kayode his freedom especially after having met their set bail conditions or charge him before a court of competent jurisdiction forthwith. He is not afraid to defend himself!

50 Cent says the bullet stuck in his tongue When He Was Shot is “great for MouthAction.” 50 Centseems to be pulling eyebrow-raising stunts on the daily. Sometimes he’s good for a laugh, oftentimes he’s trolling for attention. Fitty was a recent guest, alongside Michael Fassbender, Kate Winslet, and British actress Julie Walters, on the U.K. talk show “The Graham Norton Show.” He was asked about his new single, “9 Shots,” the title off which refers to the notorious shooting he was involved in before his rap career took off, when he was struck by 9 bullets. And, apparently, a fragment of one of those bullets still resides in 50’s tongue. The G-Unit boss proceeded to explain that the embedded bullet fragment changed the way he speaks, and he then revealed a positive that comes with having a bullet stuck in your tongue: “It’s great for MouthAction.” Then came a priceless moment as Walters asked to touch the bullet lump on 50’s tongue. After covering his tongue with a tissue, he abides and places the 65-year-old actress’s finger in his mouth. There’s no one else like him.

The Delta State Governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, has promised to empower 50 best graduating students of the Delta State Polytechnic, Ozoro. The Governor made this promise while inaugurating the Governing Council of the Delta State Polytechnic, Ozoro. He observed that the current educational system where graduates come out looking to the government or the few available private enterprises for gainful employment was wrong. He challenged polytechnic lecturers to put emphasis on multi-disciplinary research and practical life skills to ensure that polytechnic graduates can be self-employed. He also asked them to pay attention to improved curriculum and quality of teaching so as to equip their products with the requisite mindset and knowledge to excel in today’s rapidly changing world. The board is made up of Rt. Hon. Funkekeme Solomon as the Chairman, Hon. Joe Adigwe, Hon. Gabriel Alebe and Mrs Oti Agoba as members of the Council. Responding on behalf of members of the Council, Hon. Solomon thanked Governor Okowa, gave the assurance that they would carry out their functions diligently. The ministerial nominees from Oyo and Yobe states, Mr Adebayo Shittu and MrsKhadija Abba Ibrahim, have been screened by the Senate and asked to take a bow and leave. Shittu took a bow and left after he had answered several questions from the senators, ranging from religion to politics, activism and governance. Shittu addressed the perception that he was a religious extremist by stating that he has never been indicted by any panel of inquiry for religious intolerance as he is not a fanatic or a religious extremist. He revealed that his secretary for many years is a Christian and wife of a Pastor with whom he has had a cordial working relationship. Adebayo Shittu, who has served as a legislator, commissioner and Attorney-General in Oyo State, noted that his personality did not hamper his past political successes. While affirming his commitment to seeing Nigerians live a moral life, he was of the view that religion should be made compulsory in educational institutions. Answering questions on the possibility of being put in charge of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Shittu said that he would ensure that grassroots sports is developed to the maximum as this remained the best way to develop the sector. Mrs Abba Ibrahim’s screening, however, took less time as she was asked to take a bow and leave after a dramatic exchange of banters among the senators, one of whom is the nominee’s husband, Senator Bukar Abba Ibrahim. Drugs are sensitive substances that should not be toyed with under any circumstance. Doctors and pharmacists warn that any medicine in the hand of the wrong person is a potential poison. Unfortunately, that is usually the case in Nigeria. Anyone, including teenagers, can lay their hands on any medicine so far they know where to access it. Two teenage boys, who came on a commercial bike popularly called okada, charged into the drug store. They seemed uneasy with the kind of attention their entrance had caused and signalled to the salesgirl to quickly attend to them as they were in a hurry. One of the boys asked for 10 tablets of tramadol, a bottle of a popular brand of cough mixture with codeine and a sachet of water popularly known as pure water in Nigeria. His friend also asked for the same medication. The timid girl obliged them and dispensed the drugs. In the twinkling of an eye, they swallowed the drugs and topped it with the cough mixture and jumped on the okada they chartered to the chemist and rode off. Tramadol , according to pharmacists, is a potent analgesic that works on the central nervous system by outing the brain to sleep. According to the experts, tramadol is classified as an opiod- like analgesic that should not be sold over the counter to any individual without a prescription from a physician. Opiods are drugs that are used for their euphoric and analgesic effects to treat chronic pain. Yet, it was sold by a chemist operator to the teenagers who swallowed them like candies.
