sweetjude:You keep getting it wrong, I really don't know if am chatting with matured mind here, nothing stops the lady from making a living on her own. Fine, once in a while assistance are to be rendered, must it be financial? And if its financial, you both could sort it out. Its requires Understanding one another... Money is important, but not binding on the man to be the one to always make and give the money. You are in a relationship not only for financial gains, u not running a business!!! |
sweetjude:You totally wrong, I agree with work before marriage not before relationship. Reason because, of the situation we find ourselves in Nigeria here... For example, I & my partner could be in relationship starting from sec. school days or university days, work it to we finally get jobs and settle to marry. Its a different thing, No set rules for relationship or marriage... You have your life to live...Good luck in looking for the rich guy! |
dacblogger:Many will cry at the beginning of their life and later enjoy the rest of their life, while some will enjoy life like it won't end in the beginning and later pay cry at the end, in fact end up in their fathers house...such is sometimes the case you just painted...Pray God gives one his/her right partner...No matter the circumstances, happiness is all that matters... |
Kolade9:That's what is called an award show, the people who you think will win most times don't. The person giving the award to also deserves it...simple Don't let us attach sentiments to anything, it happens in most award shows all over the world, including Grammy. Nigerians we like to complain so much, we have bad mouthed headies and when it dies a natural death, will see the award shows that will match it. Let's always support our own, most of all those artiste only do what they do because they are known and making money, last year Adekunle Gold, Lil kesh all were there to grab this award, this year they be forming big boys...rubbish! |

But the truth is bitter, this girl won't fit well into school anymore, she's no more interested, I know been a stripper is not her line, she didn't want to mention been a prostitute. That's where her mind is right now, she is using the stripper to cover up...Olorun, pls don't give me this kind of child Ooo... |
Many of the new generation ladies hide under the guise of civilization to drop many of their duties as a responsible and good wives at home. They claim different languages of equality etc when it comes to duties and responsibilities, they never forget to always ask of money for pampers of the child, school fees, house rents etc Has anybody ever wondered why do men pay dowries, for who? To who? Is it even compulsory because I guess it should have been an obsolete idea by now... The way things are going now, marriage will be like a contract thing, sign an agreement and that's all... We are complaining of so many evil things in the world of today(end time happening), maybe this a reason to it whereby everyone is denying responsibilities. Not siding with the men here, even the men of nowadays are shying away from been the good husband to their wives...I think we should leave more of this western ideals, let's develop what we meet, husbands should be the best to their wives and wives too in likewise manner. |
Stories for the gods, I won't marry any lady with your kind of ideology... When there are intelligent, smart, beautiful lady that posses good cooking skills that will do all of her duties graciously and will never complain of my role to cook or not, wash cloth or not etc. Keep your advice to yourself and your gullible follower... |
Mahrez will likely win going by the PFA award given to him last year by English FA. |
End time happenings, one day some men will turn full housemaid with the way things are going on with this equality agenda of the women... Women, women, women, na so them finger Adam's brain to go chop apple, at end na eviction baba God give them, they brought us to this problem we facing in the world... Its just a pity most guyz have turn pussy brain these days, been controlled by pussy not thier brain anymore such is the O.P writing this shit... There's no big deal in helping a woman with some chores in the house but writing this shit to us that "why weshould" wash our women's cloth, of what importance? Is it teaching us to start washing our wives cloth or what? Men, we have never complained about our role in the house as the father of the house, why is it always the women folks who will want responsibilities shared ![]() Some men in this generation are literally controlled by their wives, whateva the wife says, so be it...I don't think that's a man. A man should be all encompassing not forming mumu love...well, its what soothes you, continue to wash it, God will continue to strengthen you on that... Bye! |
favoryte33:Your answer na boss like & realistic, na person give birth to terrorist, if God make accident happen to their family and the child dies, we won't have been crying bokoharam now...Prostitution from childhood is waste of sperm!!! |
Twaci:Yeah, I wanna ask you, does the bible pages lack reasoning or how do you want to interpret those clearly stated verse. It is clear that today, you all interpret the pages of the bible the way it soothes you. Truth is bitter, you can soothe yourself now but will God be happy with on the day of judgement with your characters to your husband? |
One thing I have come to realize in this country, as one is studying in the university, one needs to develop his/her business side of making money, if you had diverted half of the 6million naira on a business, am sure by now, you will be employing graduates in your company...Getting job in this country is something else! |
She's right, you should be happy a girl truly loves you that much, problem of the world is, you loving a girl who might not really love you that much and here someone is trying to perfect herself for you... Appreciate! |
Caprigal:I was going to ask you, if he request you guyz should go MouthAction, How would you take it? Though, I am not a fan of such ideas but I think that's what we tend to do these days. I think if you love your partner that well, nothing should disgust you so much about his body. You guyz are into each other that's what makes it union... If you don't do it for him, that my be reason for flirting outside in the future. Its either you walk away from the relationship or you stay to learn and accommodate each others likes. Believe me, even if you leave him today, does it sound so well to the hearing that because your man spits in your mouth was the reason for a break up? |
greatmen:Are there no Christians within the buhari's govt? Yes or No. The south south in his govt are Muslims? How come is only your region that is seeing who ever the appointees are? Are others not Nigerian? When this thing started, it started as a joke but now you guyz are taking it beyond reasonable doubt, its better you let tribalism stop covering your sense of reasoning and let's work together to make Nigeria great again! |
When most of you in the east are always complaining, give meaningful contributions Never, only to attack buhari. With all your yearnings, the south south could even get more appointment than the west. Jonathan self no dey complain the way you guys carry the matter for head... You guyz are trying so hard to divide this country along religious lines and this tribalism sentiments as if when it happens, your region will turn London overnight..msheew! I remember during GEJ era, your kinsman dominated every sphere of the govt. There was never any article from the southwest or the north as to complain marginalization or christianization... Why always trying to bring up such topics, when are u ever going to get tired ![]() Every region have moved on only your people wailing everyday... Na only your race dey Nigeria ![]() |
Nusaf:May Almighty Allah continue to bless your sense of reasoning...I believe it will do nobody good at bashing one another religion, all we need is respect for one another... |
Ladies and privacy, you always want a man to respect your privacy and expect to know every hidden things about the man, the man must not have privacy...it is well!!! |
If APC is not getting it right at the beginning, does it mean we should vote PDP? Those clamouring for voting for PDP, are they saying it base on the love they have for progress of these country or sentimental views? If PDP has ruled this country well, I don't think it would have been very hard for the present regime to govern? As far as am concerned, I know the country is hard right now, but the man is not to be blamed...are we changing our bad ways of operating for good? All the corruption cases, are those people from Jupiter? We live and breath in corruption, and the effect of corruption is killing us now, we complaining, Is BUHARI the cause of our predicament? I believe if these country wants to change for good, we need to fight these bad politician collectively, demand for good governance together... Buhari is not a bad leader... |
“Those who know me, know that I have publicly announced my quitting partisan politics and those who will believe the purported story will believe anybody who tells him that his or her mother is not a woman. “If I quit a party when it was alive and seemingly united, how could I go back to a now divided, factionalized party grasping for breath?” Baba always with the right answers... |
The worst predicament of the Nigerian government is not political corruption, but widespread intellectual ignorance caused by lack of education, because majority of Nigerians don't read, therefore they are not uniformed on the critical analysis of the Nigerian crisis and the collateral damage done to democracy and governance in Nigeria by the former national ruling political party, People's Democratic Party (PDP) that many sarcastically call "Papa Deceive Pikin", because they believe PDP deceived Nigerians. |
daretodiffer:But u just dissed someone who wants it...wetin be ya problem ? |
Me I will to say any Biafran reply to this because, they are always claiming the south South as part of Biafra, your eyes don clear now. Na u na go suffer pass...you think you can control another region resources and you don't want to be submissive to the Nigerian government. How I wish they could even just allow you people leave and see what becomes of you lots... ![]() |
Pamelayoung:Why is it always hard to comprehend things from another man's perspective? What makes you think your ideas is superior to others? If you don't have any ideal reply, must you say something abusive to derive a point. Did they tell they were gay? ![]() The problem with the world is this, u have been used to nuclear family, Islam preaches both, even in our own older generation, it was polygamy without religion. She wants it that way, so be it...she must have develop a strong level of faith...May Allah guide her well! |
Wow... ![]() |
First of all, won't result to bashing of "Christianity" because this has nothing to do with both religion. I know that poverty knows no religion, corrupt people in this country are Christian, Muslim. My dear O.P, I will advice you to relieve your heart of a particular burden in your heart, don't know whether you wanted to bash the Muslims or buhari because you have fail to realizes we exist as a nation because we tolerate one another. If anything of what you intend to instigate happens, am sure you wouldn't even be with your phone talkless of typing. Back to the issue of politics, sometimes I wonder why some people have reduced their brain to a kindergarten way of reasoning, speaking holistically at your issues, now you condemning buhari and the APC using religious sentiments, is the PDP only a Christian dominated party? NO...many of those who occupies positions are Hausa that are Muslim. What do you make of that? For your so much hatred against buhari, whether you like it or not, he's the President of the country in which you reside. Let face reality, why so much hatred, GEJ is not even as bitter as you are, he's been touring the world living in peace and here you are spitting a treacherous statement online, do you know you could be located and am sure you will spend the rest of your life in prison. Let's be mindful of what we speak and type on social media all because you want to gain "likes" on nairaland. Of what's benefit to you? Politics is always politics, leave religion out of it, the elites in the country milking our resources are both Muslim and Christian, there sons and daughters love theirselves a lot because, they go to america, UK together. Jonathan family doesn't even know you and don't expect you to act stupid just because you want to show support. My people in yorubaland, we don't discriminate, i have Christian sisters and brothers in my family, and so as we are all free to support different party we choose to support, we don't take that out of proportion by preaching hatred. Everything is Politics! |
Shoprite, a popular South-African-owned retail chain, lays claim to offering variety of food products, household goods, and small appliances at “lowest possible prices.” On its website, fliers and other advertising products, the store likes to underline low, lower or lowest prices as its unique selling point. But, is this always true? Not exactly. PREMIUM TIMES’ checks in some local markets in Abuja showed that some goods are actually cheaper in those markets than in Shoprite. The store, which is hugely popular in South Africa, opened its first Nigerian outlet in Lagos, the country’s commercial capital, in December 2005 and has gone on to open additional 17 stores in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital, and seven other states. The business, owned by Christoffel Wiese, a South African billionaire, has taken over the Nigerian retail market, making a killing off the country’s populace, who flock to its outlets to purchase both food and household items, often ignoring local markets closest to them. A lot of Nigerians believe Shoprite prices are the lowest when it comes to groceries and household goods. PREMIUM TIMES’ Business Review wanted to check whether this is true. So, on Wednesday, July 13 and on Friday, July 15, 2016, we hit the road, visiting the Shoprite outlet in the Central Business District (close to Sheraton Hotels), Nyanya main market, about 20 minutes from the city centre, and Wuse market in the centre of the city.We randomly chose 30 goods and compared prices in Shoprite and in the two Abuja markets. The differences are clear – Shoprite prices are higher than those of retailers in the two other markets we visited. We also observe a trick by Shoprite. Its prices are never in whole numbers, always one kobo less. For instance Titus Sardine goes for N199.99, leaving a change of one kobo for the buyer. That one kobo is useless, as it cannot be used for any other purchase. Due to inflation and the dwindling value of the naira, coins have lost their relevance in the Nigerian marketplace.
