More revelations have emerged over the murder of a farmer in Benue State. The long arms of the law caught up a middle aged man after he killed his neighbor, cut off his heard and buried his half body in a shallow grave in Utonkon area of the volatile state.

Fresh revelation emerged Thursday over the ongoing controversy surrounding the victory of former Senate President, David Mark in the Benue South Senatorial District election as INEC card readers have detected more ghost voters.

It would recalled that the national and state Assembly tribunal in Benue State had authorized the senatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the Benue South senatorial zone, Comrade Daniel Onjeh and his party to inspect and take the electoral materials of the last senatorial election in the area.Onjeh contested the senate seat of the Benue South senatorial district against the senate President, David Mark of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

Mark was however pronounced winner of the poll, which was allegedly marred by irregularities.

Earlier, the card reader had detected 18, 424 ghost voters during the exercise.

A statement issued by Onjeh’s media office says, “new INEC CTC Card Reader info we got yesterday, shows that only 87, 819 voters were actually accredited at the April 28 general election in Benue South; 58, 607 were manually accredited.

BREAKING: Bukola Saraki elected Senate President

All is now set for the general elections of the National Association of Nigerian Prostitutes, NANP.
IDOMA VOICE gathered that the elections are slated for August 1 and 8, 2015.

Speaking at a press conference in Lagos, Saturday morning, the 2015 electoral committee chairman, Franca 'Top Up' Chikam, said the state and zonal elections hold Saturday, August 1 across the nation while the presidential election is slated for Saturday, August 8 in Lagos.
According to her, all dully registered members should endeavour to be part of the voting exercise.

Chikam said the screening exercise for all state and zonal aspirants will take place across the country on Wednesday, June 17 while that of presidential holds June 20 in Lagos.

"This is to inform every aspirant who is still owing the association to kindly pay before the screening exercise to avoid disqualification.

"Interested contestant should pick up form the state or zonal offices before or on June 10.

"It is going to be a direct election this time around, so we urge all zonal and states coordinators to avoid violence during the exercise.

"In 2009, we reported cases of violence during our elections and we wouldn't want that to happen this year.

"Anyone who causes trouble before, during or after the election would be penalized," she warned.

Chikam further explained that those aspiring for the presidential seat are expected to pay a non refundable sum of N200,000.

Report reaching us from Makurdi, the Benue State capital, Tuesday evening indicates that two boys who are trekking from Zamfara to Otuoke, the country home of President Goodluck Jonathan to thank the outgoing president for conceding defeat in the last presidential election were stranded in the state.
