By Vera Enenche Top model and activist, Miss Sahhara, (Clifford Oche) has revealed that moving to the United Kingdom saved her from committing suicide. The Idoma-born, Benue State lass said she was tired of being bullied and harassed in Nigeria, hence, her decision to move to the UK. In a podcast interview, the Trans right activist said that it was not true that she suddenly decided to be a woman overnight. She said, “Being a woman and living in your true gender is not a lifestyle. There was no time of epiphany; it’s like someone asking you when you decided to be male or female, am sure your answer will be, since you were born. So I have always known that I am female, my brain has always been female” On why she decided to leave Nigeria, the ex-Benue Varsity student said “Moving to the United Kingdom was my redemption, it was either staying in Nigeria, continue being bullied, harassed, beaten up, and succeed in killing myself, or moving away to a more open minded society to leave my dreams to my fullest potentials, so I took the latter” http://www.idomavoice.com/2016/08/i-would-have-committed-suicide-if-i.html

According to a resident, Orahii Samuel, this policeman (pictured), Mobile Unit on duty yesterday at about 2pm at Igyula along Gboko-Aliade Road took alcohol to stupor and was seriously misbehaving by threatening road users with the gun. I tried getting his service number and name but his jacket covered the tags. I saw him assured a commercial driver that he would have wasted his life by shooting him dead if it was at night, just because the driver told him that he does not have money to settle them. He added that in Maiduguri, a driver can't waste a policeman's time to begin to explain that he doesn't have money for settlement; the police will just shoot the driver dead and throw him in the bush. He warned the driver not to say a pleading word again rather than quietly settle them. One of the passengers who saw how the driver's vehicle has been having faults while they were coming gave him N30 to give to the policeman and plead further. When the driver removed the N30 to give to the policeman, he asked him how much it was. The driver replied him that it's N30. The policeman became infuriated and started beating up the driver with his gun. He said the driver has insulted him by giving him N30. His colleagues intervened but could not stop him. They told this reporter that their superior colleague is drunk and confessed he has been behaving like that since morning. According to them, they can't stop him because he is their superior. I write this to request the Nigerian Police Force to call Gboko Command to trace this unprofessional policeman on duty yesterday at Igyula Community along Gboko-Aliade Road using the attached pictures. Those plying that route should also take caution in order not to risk their lives. In the second picture below with money on ground in front of the policeman, he was doing so while trying to prove to the driver that he has enough money and not hungry enough to collect N30 from him. Veteran entertainment journalist, Azuh Amatus once described the Idoma community as the talent based of the nation. His submission can’t be faulted because of the number of entertainers churned out by this agrarian community. Albeit, the Idoma people are known to be predominant farmers but one thing you cannot take away from them is entertainment. The story of the nation’s creative industry is inconclusive without the mention of the Idoma community. When Apostle of the Most High and Senior Pastor of Omega Fire Ministry, Prof Johnson Suleman in January 2016 prophesied that he saw blood flowing in Benue State, many people took his prophesy with a pinch a salt. However, with less than four months to the end of 2016 IDOMA VOICE can count up to over 50 persons that have been buried 'untimely' under current the leadership of Benue State government. Many of the victims died as result of poor security in the state. While some were killed by cult-related activities, others were abducted and murdered by their kidnappers. Following the worsening insecurity situation in the state, many residents have resorted to jungle justice as any criminal caught were lynched to death and set ablaze. When Ortom took over the mantle of leadership in 2015, he vowed to flush out terrorists from the state by declaring amnesty for criminals, but the programme seems to have hit the rocks as crime-related activities still reign in the food basket state. Just recently, Pastor Joshua Iginla also predicted that the state needed prayers as her saw evil befalling her. Here are pictures of some persons who lost their lives recently, MORE PHOTOS HERE<<<<<http://www.idomavoice.com/2016/08/harvest-of-deaths-how-benue-state-is.html

A 24-year-old Olachi Glory Emmanuel has lost her life mysteriously after she was allegedly beaten and abandoned by her husband, Emmanuel who is said to be a native of Otukpa in Benue State. A family source, who gave his name as Ben Eziefule alleged that the late Olachi’s husband who is working in one of the oil companies in Rivers State married the deceased year. Investigations by IDOMA VOICE show that the lovers were truly wedded in holy matrimony at the Foundation Faith Church, Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital on 10 of January, 2015 with both families present. However, things fell apart between the lover as the husband allegedly turned the wife to a boxing partner. The source claimed that after inflicting multiple injuries on the wife, the husband returned her on clutches to her parents and vanished. He was no where to be found until the deceased passed away. Her remains had since being laid to rest. Meanwhile, the accused was yet to respond to our Facebook message at the time of this report. U were not forced to marry her and what u used to pay her back for the love she showed to you and left every other suitor for you is to return her back and never set ur eyes on the innocent girl for close to a year, note even when she was in coma for weeks before death. U Mr. Benue man, u did dis cos she is not from Benue state and u work in the oil company in Port Harcourt and u have money, but let me without fear tell you that vengance is coming cos God is ready to avange. U beat up the innocent girl even on clutches just for her to go, I ask when u married her, was she disabled?
