sistawoman:
I am 33 with now 5 children. 3 of my own 10 boy 8 girl 6 boy, 2 of his 16 girl and 12 boy.
Yes I am married to a Nigerian man and he is the best thing that has ever happened in my life.
Thanks sistawoman for help clarifying that not all Nigerian men are cheats and swindlers. . .

Some of us have hearts and true intentions.

sistawoman:
He has never cheated on me, that I know of, he has never disrespected me, he is always gentle loving and caring when it comes to me, he puts my needs before his as I do him. He is so romantic (so many have said that Nigerian men are not),
Thank you jare!

sistawoman:
he means the world to me and he is my King as I am his Queen. When he looks at me and tells me I am beautiful or I love you i feel it in my soul and know that this is real.
That is soo cool. .give your husband a pat on the back 4 me, he's a 'correct' guy.

EducationRe: Unilag vs OAU-Ife vs UI? by oYaTo(m): 7:47pm On Jul 11, 2008
I had reason to be in Unilag yesterday. No doubt Unilag is a great school, but as I took a walk round the school, I really was fascinated.  I couldn't help but get the feeling that most of the girls looked like over-madeup mannequins as they strode by me; and the guys were no different either, tryin' to exude a sense of "being a big boy", with earings adorning their earlobes and chains hangin from their jeans and rides over-embossed with their ego (actually saw a dude drive past with one hand on the wheel, the other clutchin' a phone to his ear, and his license plate readin' what? u guessed it! "BUGA". Actually had a good laugh when he drove past. What a spectacle!)

All this said, every school's got it's own share of delinquents, and Unilag's still a good school. I got friends and cousins in the school and graduates as well who are doing absolutely well. . .

But the thing that struck me as I took in all the sights was it didn't strike me much as an academic environment.  I didn't get the feeling I could experience a kind of serenity that could serve as a catalyst in my academic studies if I was a student of the instititution. I could be wrong, and maybe the Akokites have found a way of substituting that lack of serenity for something else, and I guess it works for them.

I graduated from OAU, and I wouldn't trade it for another university. Its status as a genuine academic environment can't even be challenged by my honourable Akokites. I didn't experience the so-called "lack of social impetus" (although I'm aware of it), because I had all the fun as a student: joined a social/philantrophic club, went for field trips, attended numerous parties, dated lots of chics. .at some point I had a tough time balancing all these with my engineering studies, but I still managed to graduate with a correct 2.1 (thanx 2 Almighty God!).

Believe me, Ife truly rocks!
RomanceRe: Pick-up lines. And Break-up Lines. by oYaTo(m): 2:12pm On Jul 11, 2008
Dual Core:
I don't rehearse lines, i say sometin to a chic once and i mite never say it again. I think i prefer spontaneous reactions to whteva conditions i find maself. IMHO, pick up and break up lines are stereotypes 4 those who lack words nd confidence. Same thing applies to all those crap red-like-roses, beautiful-like-the-sunset txt msgs peepz copy from smwhere and send. So annoying when u see d same text message comin from 2 different senders.
u cudn't av said it better. I try to use my own creativity and imagination to compose txt msgs, and when i see a chic i'm attracted to, i say whatever comes to mind, at the same time tryin' to be as ingenuous and charming as possible. .works 4 me grin
