Depend on ur maintenance culture, but Toyota Camry is somehow advisable because of access to auto specialists. More mechanics easily get around Toyota cars than Hyundai.

What Fuel Trim Values Should Be

Ideally, the STFT and LTFT should be within a few percentage points of zero when the engine is idling or being held at a steady RPM. Remember, STFT can bounce around quite a bit as when you suddenly snap open the throttle or decelerate. But LTFT can tell you if the average fuel/mixture is running rich or lean.

Good LTFT values should be as close to zero as possible, though they can range from 5 to 8 percent depending on the condition of the engine. If the LTFT is getting up around 10 percent or higher, it usually indicates a problem that needs to be diagnosed.

LTFT values that get up around 20 to 25 percent will usually set a P0171 or P0174 lean code.

LTFT values that drop down to negative 20 to 25 will usually set a P0172 or P0175 rich code.

Oga bone code ,we no be small small children for this job.
So assume customer bring car and fuel trim show lean ,na to tell customer say no problem as lean code no enter ,oga you know better than this na

with or without hose installed, MAP values remained constant @ 27-28kpa

Please conduct test your self with your scanner to verify.

Vehicle driven over 100km without hose installed and no codes were thrown.

My oga ,show the fuel trim before the hose was removed so that we can know if fuel trim change or not.
We are not interested in map value and this is what your earlier statement says :

The acceptable fuel trim tolerance for both long term and short term is +/-20% for this camry.( according to Toyota specifications)
This is according to Toyota factory service manual( you can easily get one on the internet ).

So the trim is still within spec. ( long term I mean).

Abeg for where you find this +/-20% Toyota specification .

Kindly do full diagnosis before u buy, eg comprehensive scan, compression check, diagonize ur transmission, and proper physical inspection especially under the vehicle, check if not flooded vehicle, also check suspension system. after then u can choose to buy or not. u can call honmusa on 08061166316

thanks house d vehicle has worked got ignition fuse burnt, after I checked it all I found a fuse blown, av changed dt its working. yet d air bag light is on, also while I scan d engine gave codes while check engine light didn't come on at all, wt could b d problem oooo.

House pls can I get help on a Rav 4 2006, 4 cylinders, it was drove to Ibadan, air bag light came on, so at d process of d rewire checking d cause he remove SRS plug under d steering which is yellow wire, trying to bridge d pins he got a spark&motor refuse to start since then. pls can I get a guide on that or any DIY to enable d car start. no security.

check ur fuel system (fuel pump,injector nozzles)
check ur spark plugs and coils.
but better still run a scan to Know the specific problem.
u can call PLUGZ auto on 08061166316. for scan&repair, they did DT for me and it was superb.
