I am looking at schools that will not harass for payments sha
from what I hear from associates, Bradford are not quick to harass ppl for outstanding payments....
while looking for "cheap schools"; also consider student support and benevolence.

Imagine Teeside Uni saying they will pay flight ticket back home for students owing ?
is it not better to keep them for them to "find" the money and pay than to spend money to get them deported then lose out on all the income.....
these guys eh
With all you stated. That's where those two schools I mentioned comes in.

Then give it a go....
Tomorrow sef
Try University of Bradford
Uni of Bradford is expensive oo. I had suggest you check uni. Of Salford and hull which is atleast cheap compared to other schools.

I think something is wrong with an average Nigerian.

Like I don't get it....

See as we explained to our people over and over again....they still don't get it.

Like .....is it too hard for them to comprehend the point we trying to make?

You tried to explain the reality to my people.....they'll start seeing u as a bad person.
Dont blame anyone. The country is fuckin hard and everyone is looking for escape route.

I won't blame anyone. I felt this way before especially if anyone in abroad is advising against my wish of coming.

I always look for positive comments to remain strong.

But now I understand that what we actually wanted was just that plane flight experience or just to take pix n upload on Facebook as one who has been here and there but we aren't truly prepared for the real deal
With Nigeria situation rn, omo japa na the best option o but all me I'm saying is people should research on other EU countries that are relatively cheap compared to UK. I have friends who moved to Luxembourg and Iceland and all have heard from them is positive things.

I would still be struggling with school fee if not for the fact I was the last beneficiary of dependants.

I know what some of my guys who came alone are going through. The mental challenge, etc.

If not that Nigerians are built differently, some of them for don colo

I am in the US and I have visited the UK severally , but that’s not the point , stop this your unsolicited naysayers attitude . It projects you so wrongly . Stop pushing your negative opinions and spreading negativity here especially when nobody is asking for it
Now listen to yourself. You visited and someone who lived here is just telling people to make more research before making their decisions.

Nobody is stoping anybody man. I pray everyone succeed.

Don’t mind them , it is so annnoying , they take so much effort to discourage others and tell them some reality whereas they pin there , nothing is easy but every chance to leave the damned country led by the evil bigoted propagandists APC , take it with both hands . People are getting old with no headway in this country . The longer you stay the more difficult and expensive it will be to leave .
Ignore the naysayers and don't let them bring you down! It's frustrating when others try to discourage us with their negative views. But remember, every challenge is an opportunity to grow stronger. If you have the chance to pursue your dreams and goals in another country, seize it with both hands! Don't let fear or negativity hold you back. The longer you wait, the harder it may become. Don't let others define your reality. Keep pushing forward and stay positive!"
Y'all are not getting it. Me personally have not pushed anything. Nigeria is hard and japa is bold decision which is good.

All have been clamouring for is for people to look elsewhere like other EU countries so avoid had it been I know.

If you have all your tuition fee covered or full come from a wealthy home no worries. No problem at all, intact you won't regret anything in UK. Aside enjoyment

But if you not covered you gonna struggle cos tell me how you gonna cover school fee and house rent with 20hrs with no dependants. If na days wey dem allow dependants, it's very easy, e get as e bad reach the other person go see full time work plus your own 20hrs. You can easily pay school fer and house rent and ball join sef. But they've stopped all that.

Now talking of school please make your research. Dont go and pick school all in the name of cheap deposit that they will be asking for another money during enrollment. Please make your research. You all read what happened to our on people at Teesside university. Most of the school's are like that even after paying 90%

Nobody is giving negative energy, na just advice dem dey advice una.

I pray you all get the visa and get to our desired destinations. Ire ooo

but you are there , please you guys should just shut up and keep your damned opinion to yourselves. People know what they want , stop all this pretense in form of advice . Many Nigerians took the bold step of leaving the country and they are thriving out there , uk is hard but you pin there …nonsense
I know your type. You will received that UK visa ijn.

If all what has been said is too big for u to comprehend, the summary is it is not advisable to come tru student visa with the intention of paying ur balance of let's say 7k pounds and accommodation with 20 hours weekly work.

Without dependant

It's suicide (like literally).

If u av the fund, start coming.

I personally don't like advising Nigerians (we all know how we behave typically).

4 people even liked ur comment...lol

Typical Nigerians....
Brother you talk too much. Nigeria in us no dey hear advise, people will think is a joke.

Me I no dey advice anybody. Let them come and experience it first class.

I wonder how students think of surviving in the UK without dependants, as in how?
Years back, what fueled japa was form A Pound rate that was used to pay tuition fee. Truth is many that traveled to UK then would never try it if there wasn't form A and exchange rate was high as the present.
Personally, I'm a dependant that came in last year with my student wife. I spent little above 5 million naira to pay 9000 pounds deposit of the tuition with form A. I would be looking for over 15 million naira in present day Nigeria to pay the same sum, that's huge and I don't think it would make a wise investment for me. To make it worse, NO DEPENDANT.
Today, people just wanna leave the country and thus many are jumping from frying pan to fire. What could be more depressing and humiliating than being served eviction mail by the UKVI, abi living illegally in the UK after your resident permit is revoked?
Hopefully they listen. People hate to hear the hard truth.

Look elsewhere, Germany is free, Luxembourg and Iceland is almost like free and alot of EU countries. Make your research.

UK is hard at the moment.

VISA ALERT!!!

Indeed a miracle happened. Glory be to God alone.

Application date - 15th July
Booked flight - 17th July
Canceled application - 3rd of August. I didn't know POF should be 28 days from the date of application not biometrics.
New application - 5th August
Biometrics - 10th August
Empty NSF - 14th August
Interview invitation - 25th August
Interview - 27th August. I was sent IHS link to top up shortly after the interview.
IHS payment - 29th August

NO WORD FROM UKVI

1st paid call - 4th September (awaiting decision)
2nd paid call - 7th September (still awaiting decision but it was escalated and I was advised to wait for 15 working days before calling them again)
Escalation - 7th September
Paid Mail( since I was advised not to call...lol) - 12th September (still awaiting decision as at 6pm)

THEN I DECIDED TO TAKE IT UP IN PRAYER. At this point I needed a miracle as my flight had already been booked for the 17th September.

I responded to the paid mail around 12AM clearly stating my case again.

UKVI contact centre responded - 13th September (decision has been made as at 11am, but still at DMC)

More prayer. That the passport be returned to Nigeria before Friday.

Transferred to VAC - 14th September
Received by VAC - 14th September
Pickup mail from TLS - 14th September, 12:29pm( Visa was approved and delivered to VAC in 24hrs)
Passport in my hand with vignette - 14th September, 2:16pm

ALL GLORY TO GOD! It's still like a dream to me, I indeed experienced a miracle.

I was strengthened with 2kings7:1-20. Where the people of Israel experienced an unusual overnight victory.

I pray for those still waiting that you experience an unusual speed in Jesus Name, Amen!

Thank you to everyone for the help. God bless you!
Congratulations. Happy to hear this.

UKVI will test your faith no matter how strong u are!

Once again congratulations. See u at the top.

Which school?

They didn't say. Still awaiting decision.

I had an interview on 27th August. Few hours later, I was sent a link to pay for IHS as it showed $0.00 after filling the application form.

Payment was made early hours of 29th August and since then no update.

Just waiting and praying now as school resumes in less than two weeks.
You will get it this week by God's grace.....Call them again.

Is your POF in your bank account up to 18m, is the name on the bank account correspond with the one on your passport [both Surname and First name must match what you have on ur passport] If yes

Make transaction on that account between now and Tuesday e.g deposit minimum of #500 into the account today, tomorrow and tuesday. You can use different POS vendor to deposit.

Print on Wednesday and submit.

Cheers!

Note: you can do paid call/mail on friday to confirmed they've received it.

You will get that positive decision soonest by God's grace! Cheers

Hello guys,
Good evening. Please I need your urgent reply.
A friend and his wife just got their visas but he shot himself in the leg by booking a flight with KLM ignorantly until I pointed it out to him that he would require a transit visa to be able to transfer when they get to Amsterdam.

Please what should he do and how does he go about securing the visa?.

He's currently down.....
Cancel the flight and request for refund.
You will get ur full refund but it will take days.

When booking flight next watch Ethiopia Airlines, Kenya, Egypt, Qatar, Turkey and Bristish Airlines with one stop preferably.

Once they are stopping at EU countries you will need Shanghai visa or transit visa to move.

Cheers
