Sowore said some few months ago that some of these political parties are been sponsored by PDP and APC. Too many controversy with this ANN. |
Well said, some people are still in love with their oppressors. APC and PDP have notting to offer ajl: |
Well said Mr Sowore, this is exactly my thought. The welfare of the rank and file should be of upmost importance. |
I am some times shocked at some of the comments i read up here. With the present state of things in this country some people will still be supporting President Buhari and any of the PDP candidates. When we have better candidates like Prof Mogalu and Mr. Sowore. |
The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Pastor E.A Adeboye has denied report published by one of the national dailies NOT VANGUARD, that he spoke with the leader of All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Akinwumi Ambode’s second term bid. Disclosing this through his tweeter handle, Adeboye averred that he has never been involved in any intra or inter party politics in Nigeria and would likely never be in future. In the purported report, the paper said that a source close to Tinubu, who chose to be anonymous because he was not authorized to speak on the matter, confirmed that there was a conversation between the APC leader and Pastor Adeboye on Ambode’s second term. The paper said, “We authoritatively gathered that Pastor Adeboye’s intervention is one of the latest moves by Ambode to persuade Tinubu to support his second term bid just like he did in 2015. “It was learnt that the revered Christian leader had inquired through telephone conversation with Tinubu to know how the issue of the APC primary could be resolved.[img][/img] “But the former governor insisted on direct primaries in the interest of fairness and justice for those who had obtained the APC forms for governorship primary in the party. Although the telephone conversation, which had been converted into a text was silent on what Pastor Adeboye said, Tinubu was quoted to have maintained his posture that all contenders should go to the field and test their popularity before the people they want to govern. “The APC leader said he had been accused of imposition in the past and would not want to be seen as imposing any aspirant on the people in line with what democracy entails. Tinubu in the text message which was going viral on twitter told Pastor Adeboye that: “Sir, people have been accusing me of imposition. “They say I imposed candidates at will. That’s why I said all aspirants including the governor to get to the field and test their popularity among the people in an open contest of direct primaries. “Sir, my hands are tied on his matter, I cannot ask those who have picked the expression of interest and nomination forms to withdraw or not contest. That will be greatly unfair. We will ensure a level-playing ground for all the governorship aspirants including the incumbent governor…” Reacting on the above statement Adeboye opined, “Our attention has been drawn to news making the rounds from dailies especially the New Telegraph Pastor E.A Adeboye, the General Overseer of the RCCG had a recent phone conversation with the Leader of the All Progressive Congress (APC). “We would like to inform the general public that this is false and Pastor E.A Adeboye has not and would not be involved in inter /intra party politics in Nigeria and anywhere RCCG is present across the world. The Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose has berated President Muhammadu Buhari for saying he was seeking re-election to protect Nigerians. Fayose insisted that Nigerians don’t need Buhari’s spurious protection. In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Idowu Adelusi, Fayose stressed that Nigerians have rejected Buhari, hence he should not seek re-election. He said, “Nothing is further from the truth. “Buhari says he is seeking re-election to protect Nigerians? Tell him Nigerians need no spurious ‘protection’ from him. Nigerians from all walks of life have rejected this man and dismissed the many propaganda of Buhari’s APC government as lies from the pit of hell. “Buhari and APC have only used the power they hold in trust for the people to suppress, oppress, intimidate, victimise, and destroy our people. “Buhari says what he is expected to do; that is, to protect us, but which is actually not what he is doing. We are calling on him to protect us from killers and murderers but Buhari has failed to do that in four years. He has instead defended them again and again. What magic will he now perform if re-elected into office?” Fayose lamented that the Nigerians that brought Buhari to office have “systematically, relentlessly, and ruthlessly been destroyed by Buhari/APC despite protests by Nigerians and the international community.” He added, “Do we talk of his human rights abuses or the daily killing of innocent but hapless and helpless Nigerians under his watch, which have surpassed any in peace-time Nigeria? “The country itself is drifting as a result of Buhari’s mindless tribalism and nepotism, which have polarised Nigerians like never before. “The Nigerian economy, which was the largest in Africa and one of the fastest-growing in the world, is now a shambles due to Buhari/APC’s pig-headed policies and pussy-footing when prompt and appropriate decisions were needed to pilot the ship of State. “In free and fair elections, there is no way Buhari/APC can return to power. And talking about free and fair elections, a legacy handed down to Buhari/APC has been shamelessly ruined by them as our elections are no longer free and fair. “Today under Buhari/APC, joblessness, hopelessness, depression, and despondency envelop the nation. Oppression, repression, suppression, and untold suffering have become the order of the day. “It is political rascality and unbridled partisanship carried too far when Mr. President repeatedly declines to sign the Electoral Bill into law in an election in which he intends to be a participant. The fate of a whole nation, the efforts of our heroes past, and the progress of our renascent democracy thus hang in the balance on the altar of ego-tripping and cold-blooded calculations to despotically cling to power. “And should he be forthright enough to commission an independent and objective survey of the current level of his goodwill, he will just go back home and rest. “There is little or nothing left of the huge goodwill that brought Buhari into office. He has frittered it all!” Source: http://dailypost.ng/2018/09/13/stop-lying-nigerians-rejected-fayose-attacks-buhari/

Labour leaders in Nigeria, on Wednesday, cautioned the Federal Government to stop foot dragging on the New Minimum Wage and allow the tripartite committee conclude its job to avoid industrial crisis. The labour leaders, who are members of the Minimum Wage Committee, at a joint news conference addressed in Lagos, gave the federal government 14 days to ensure that the committee conclude its work or be ready to face industrial action. Mr. Ayuba Wabba, Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) President, said that the committee was not pleased with the comments alleged to have been made by the Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr. Chris Ngige. According to him, Ngige had last week allegedly said that the committee should adjourn indefinitely to enable him do further consultations with the government. ”We view his supposed pronouncement with great concern, suspicion and outrage”, NAN quoted him as saying. “This new antic certainly is not acceptable to Nigerian workers, who had expected a New National Minimum Wage since 2016″. The NLC president said that in the course of the meeting, the committee members had time to consult and received memoranda and inputs from 21 state governments, specialized Agencies of the Federal Government, the Organized Private Sector, Organised Labour and the general public. Mr Joe Ajaero, President of the United Labour Congress, (ULC) said that issues concerning the minimum wage has been concluded and that the committee was expecting government representative to pronounce their own figure. Ajaero, however, refused to give a likely figure that could be approved as minimum wage and also did not give a clear answer on whether government was sincere on paying the new wage. He said that the call for a new minimum wage became necessary because it was already overdue, and in view of the increasing cost of goods and services. The news conference was attended by top labour leaders from NLC, TUC and ULC. Source: http://dailypost.ng/2018/09/12/new-minimum-wage-labour-gives-fg-14-day-ultimatum-nationwide-strike/ |
Nice one from Mr Sowore, this is how campaign should be done. Some people have being asking how he will pay N100k, now they can see. He has done his research and knows what he he talking about. Nigerians need to join hands together and vote out those old and greedy politicians. Let us support Sowore. |
This is the type of leader we want in Nigeria. Somebody who will always speak truth to power. Mr Sowore is the real deal. Can u imagine the Secretary to the NHIS? |
This is great news. Take it back. |
All workers most vote out these useless Govenment. |
Sowore all the way. Take it back. |
Nice one from them. |
kunmiiii:I am sure u don't know much about him, i have taken time out to do my research on him and i know he has what it takes to the President of this country. What experience are you talking about? Experience in looting, rigging and manipulation. The country needs social Justice. Mr Sowore is far far better than those old politicians. |
He has not said anything wrong. i wonder how some Nigerians think. |
If this is how the bill will look like, the issue of Governors using the police to fight their perceived political opponent have been addressed. Since the Governor cannot on his own appoint a commissioner of Police. he has to depend on the recommendation of the Statepolice service commission. |
Can you imagine. Meeting has been suspended indefinitely, Na wa o, these politicians truly don't care about the mases. they are only interested in themselves. How much are they paying these civil servants? money that can hardly take them home? They are busy playing politics with the lives of ordinary Nigerians. |
I have been following Mr Sowore on youtube for some time. I believe he has what it takes to put this country on the right path. Looking at the collation of PDP with other political parties and watching the APC mega rally holding at Edo Ekiti, i just shake my head. Our mumu don do. These guys do not have anything to offer. I'm sorry for those youths that still support them. |
Mr Sowore is not a stooge for any politician. I used to believe he was Tinibu's boy until i did my research on him. I love his brand of politics,he has my vote. Enough of those Old politicians who do not mean well for Nigerians. I think people should do their research on him. He has been consistent in naming and shaming corrupt politicians. |
