Kobojunkie: How exactly do you need to be helped here?dont really know! but i was kind of hoping to get a well thought out advice from someone. Maybe you need to think about my post very well and get back to me. |
Kobojunkie: Again, you want to make our own rules, why do you need Christianity then? If Christianity says NO to what you are trying to do, doesn't common sense tell you that means you will probably have to drop Christianity completely so you can follow your own rules? Is this really hard to figure out?You ain't helping |
passion007: I've had the Samsung Gtab 10.1 for a year but that didn't quite impress me. THe screen res was largely lackluster, and I felt embarassed holding it to my brother's iPad3.so, The moment I heard of the Google Nexus 10, I immediately ordered mine, should have it in a week or two, then I will reply you on the UI.will be waiting to get a hands on review from you. I may probably change my mind. |
c'mon you're getting me wrong here...i posted on this forum a while ago about my doubt of ever getting married...seeing the people around me, family, friends, neighbours. i have hardly see people who are truly happy in their marriage....the percentage of those happy with their life after 3-5 years of their wedding is just too low...the religion factor comes into play becos as a christain not getting married and having children is totally against the teachings of the bible. thats why i ask the question |
i really dont intend to get married but i want to have children..so what must i do in other not to offend religion? |
will update to jellybean next month....the update is too large. |
The Nexus 10 is the tablet with the best display at 300ppi. It also has NFC and runs jellybean 4.2, it's also cheaper than d note 10.1. BUT the note 10.1 is a productivity tool, it can be used for both content creation and content consumption. The only problem i have with it is the screen resolution(at 149ppi), it's not very impressive. Have u seen the note 10.1's jellybean 4.1 update? Mehn, with dat update, it does EVERYTHING the note II does on a larger screen. Since you have the note 10.1, i think u are in a better position to give us the real-life pros and cons. I want to buy this device as a xmas gift to myself .
actually the screen is very ok to me (maybe becos i have never used a higher res screen like ipad retina.) its a great device, the spen is very responsive and works perfectly. the build quality feels fragile and i tend to handle it with care. not solid at all. it has so many features am still trying to explore especially as a first time android user. Nexus 10 as a google own device will surely be supported more by developers and always get the best os upgrade. The jellybean 4.2 thats brings multiple user account like pc may never come to the note officially, but nexus user are already enjoying that features. The only major problem i have with the note is the build quality..does'nt feel strong in my hand for a 100k device. |
i think GEJ is our national icon.....at least all nigerians talk about him. |
please whats the easiest and cheapest way to get to palm avenue mushin from ijesha/aguda axis of surulere? is there a direct bus? |
any body using the nexus 10. i want to know about the actual user experience and real life usage....currently using note 10 l. but just wondering if i could have opted for this instead...any user in the house..? |
An elderly couple, who were both widowed, had been going out with each other for a long time. Urged on by their friends, they decided it was finally time to get married. Before the wedding they went out to dinner and had a long conversation regarding how their marriage might work. They discussed finances, living arrangements, and so on. Finally, the old gentleman decided it was time to broach the subject of their physical relationship. 'How do you feel about sex?' he asked, rather tentatively. 'I would like it infrequently' she replied. The old gentleman sat quietly for a moment, adjusted his glasses, leaned over towards her and whispered 'Is that one word or two?' |
after every flight, pilots fill out a form called a gripe sheet, which conveys to the mechanics problems encountered with the aircraft during the flight that need repair or correction. The engineers read and correct the problem, and then respond in writing on the lower half of the form what remedial action was taken, and the pilot reviews the gripe sheets before the next flight. Here are some actual logged maintenance complaints and problems as submitted by Qantas pilots and the solution recorded by maintenance engineers. (P = The problem logged by the pilot) (S = The solution and action taken by the engineers) P: Left inside main tyre almost needs replacement. S: Almost replaced left inside main tyre. Bill catches a taxi home one evening, the cabbie charges him almost double the usual fare and when Bill complains he becomes abusive. Bill resolves to get his revenge if he comes across this taxi driver again. A week later Bill goes to get a cab home and notices the driver from the week before is third in the taxi rank. He strolls up and gets in the first cab, once inside he tells the driver that he doesn’t have any cash but, if he takes him home he’ll give him a Mouth Action. The cab driver goes mad and kicks him out of his cab. Bill now gets into the second cab and makes that driver the same proposition: a Mouth Action for a lift home. The second driver also refuses and kicks him out. So now Bill gets into the third taxi, the guy who ripped him off, and asks to be dropped a few blocks away. As the cab drives off Bill smiles at the first two drivers and gives a big thumbs up… |
its Saint Patrick's day and an armed hooded robber bursts into the Bank of Ireland and forces the tellers to load a sack full of cash. On his way out the door with the loot one brave Irish customer grabs the hood and pulls it off revealing the robber's face. The robber shoots the man without hesitation. He then looks around the bank to see if anyone else has seen him. One of the tellers is looking straight at him and the robber walks over and calmly shoots him dead. Everyone by now is very scared and looking down at the floor. "Did anyone else see my face?" screams the robber. There is a few moments of silence then one elderly Irish gent, looking down, tentatively raises his hand and says, "I think me wife here may have caught a glimpse." |
After the church service a little boy told the pastor, "When I grow up, I'm going to give you some money." "Well, thank you," the pastor replied, "but why?" "Because my daddy says you're one of the poorest preachers we've ever had." |
A few days before her birthday a husband asked his wife, “Dear, what would you like for your present?” Wife: I really don’t think I should say. Husband: How about a diamond ring? Wife: I don’t care much for diamonds. Husband: well, then, a mink coat? Wife: You know I do not like furs. Husband: A golden necklace? Wife: I already have three of them. Husband: Well, gosh, what do you want? Wife: What I’d really like is a divorce Husband: Hmmm, I wasn’t planning on spending that much. |

A wealthy man decided to go on a safari in Africa. He took his faithful pet dachshund along for company. One day, the dachshund starts chasing butterflies and before long the dachshund discovers that he is lost. So, wandering about, he notices a leopard heading rapidly in his direction with the obvious intention of having him for lunch. The dachshund thinks, "OK, I'm in deep trouble now!" Then he noticed some bones on the ground close by, and immediately settles down to chew on the bones with his back to the approaching cat. Just as the leopard is about to leap, the dachshund exclaims loudly, "Boy, that was one delicious leopard. I wonder if there are any more around here." Hearing this, the leopard halts his attack in mid-stride, as a look of terror comes over him, and slinks away into the trees. "Whew," says the leopard. "That was close. That dachshund nearly had me." Meanwhile, a monkey, who had been watching the whole scene from a nearby tree, figures he can put this knowledge to good use and trade it for protection from the leopard. So, off he goes. But the dachshund saw him heading after the leopard with great speed, and figured that something must be up. The monkey soon catches up with the leopard, spills the beans and strikes a deal for himself with the leopard. The leopard is furious at being made a fool of and says, "Here monkey, hop on my back and see what's going to happen to that conniving canine." Now the dachshund sees the leopard coming with the monkey on his back, and thinks, "What am I going to do now?" But instead of running, the dog sits down with his back to his attackers, pretending he hasn't seen them yet ... and, just when they get close enough to hear, the dachshund says.................. "Where's that darn monkey? Sent him off half an hour ago to bring me another leopard." " You can fool some of the people all of the time, and those are the ones you want to concentrate on. |

If at first you don’t succeed, destroy all evidence that you tried. A conclusion is the place where you got tired of thinking. Experience is something you don’t get until just after you need it. For every action, there is an equal and opposite criticism. He who hesitates is probably right. Never do card tricks for the group you play poker with. No one is listening until you make a mistake. Success always occurs in private, and failure in full view. The colder the X-ray table, the more of your body is required to press on it. The hardness of the butter is proportional to the softness of the bread. To steal ideas from one person is plagiarism; to steal from many is research. To succeed in politics, it is often necessary to destroy all evidence that you tried. If at first you don’t succeed, rise above your principles. Two wrongs are only the beginning. Work is accomplished by those employees who are still striving to reach their level of incompetence. You never really learn to swear until you learn to drive. (The corollary is: You never learn to pray until your kids learn to drive!) The problem with the gene pool is that there is no lifeguard. Monday is an awful way to spend 1/7th of your life. The sooner you fall behind, the more time you’ll have to catch up |

hope you like them A guy goes into the U.S. Post Office to apply for a job. The interviewer asks him, "Have you been in the service?" > > "Yes," he says. "I was in Vietnam for three years." > > The interviewer says, "That will give you extra points toward employment" and then asks, "Are you disabled in any way?" > > The guy says, "Yes 100%...a mortar round exploded near me and blew my testicles off." > > The interviewer tells the guy, "OK. You are hired. The hours are from 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. You start tomorrow. Come in at 10:00 A.M". > > The guy is puzzled and says, "If the hours are from 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. then why do you want me to come in at 10:00 A.M.?" > > "This is a government job," the interviewer says. "For the first two hours we stand around scratching our balls. No point in you coming in for that." |

Credits goes to Soni Akoji. Church: Halleluya Brother: Actually I will be talking on the topic, "Why my pastor needs a Private Jet." I believe you have not exhausted your daily quotas of 'Amen' because you'll need to say 'Amen' repeatedly as we go along. Children of God, it is time for global revival! The church in Nigeria is to carry this end-time message around the world and she needs tools! My Pastor needs a private jet to spread the gospel with teaching appointments in many countries and this work is far too important to be left to airline schedules. You see, my Pastor needs a private jet to spread the gospel to (“Catholic”) Italy. Italy ranks 1st globally in Maternal Mortality. Just 4 women die in Italy in 100,000 births in a whole year. In Nigeria, about 50,000 women die due to Childbirth annually. In fact, Nigeria is 2nd globally with the highest maternal mortality rate and contributes 10 per cent to the world’s total maternal deaths. My Pastor needs a private jet from members without health care to go and teach the Italians how to live in health and deliver safely. My Pastor needs a private jet to spread the gospel to (“liberal”) America. America ranks first in GDP globally, whilst Nigeria ranks 43rd through oil exports. My pastor needs a private jet from members who produce nothing to go teach hard work to the Americans. My Pastor needs a private jet to spread the gospel to (“permissive”) Sweden. Sweden was top 3 in the last Corruption Index whilst Nigeria ranked 143 out of 182 countries. My pastor needs a private jet gotten from the proceeds of corruption to go and teach the Swedes how to be righteous. My Pastor needs a private jet to spread the gospel to (“immoral”) Brazil. Brazil ranks 2nd globally in actualizing development goals whilst Nigeria ranks 90 out of 133 in making development progress. My pastor needs a private jet from a stagnant people to go teach Brazilians how to move forward. My Pastor needs a private jet to spread the gospel to (“Shinto”) Japan. Japan ranks 2nd globally in life expectancy whilst Nigeria ranks 185 out of 202. My pastor needs a private jet from people who die needlessly, daily and before their time, to go pray for the Japanese to live long. My Pastor needs a private jet to spread the gospel to (“communist”) North Korea. North Korea ranked 1st in Adult Literacy globally whilst Nigeria ranked 129th! My pastor needs a private jet from an illiterate congregation to go impart knowledge to the Koreans. (Cuba 2nd) My Pastor needs a private jet to spread the gospel to (“atheist”) China. China ranks 1st in the world in High Tech Exports, whilst Nigeria ranks 90th. My pastor needs a private jet from members who work in Chinese companies to go teach the Chinese how to be productive. My Pastor needs a private jet to spread the gospel to (“unchristian”) Israel. Israel has the world’s most developed R& sector, whilst Nigeria ranks 90th globally in Research. My pastor needs a private jet from members who discover and develop nothing to go teach the Israelis divine inspiration My Pastor needs a private jet to spread the gospel to (“Buddhist”) Thailand. Thailand has an unemployment rate of less than 1% of its population, whilst in Nigeria it’s as high as 40%. My pastor needs a private jet from a jobless congregation to go teach the Thais how to be gainfully employed · Yes, my pastor needs a private jet, to take to the world what he has been unable to accomplish at home (My big sis Hetty Ofugara-Okpu will say "Look my life, look your life, na who e clear say dey serve God? If we apply that philosophy here, all pastors will sit at home and pray for Nigeria which indeed is in dire straits) You cannot take coal to Newcastle, nor Sugar Cane to Brazil nor Christ to the very people that gave him to us) |
