PoliticsWhy Gov. Obiano Won’t Congratulate Obi Over Nomination As Atiku’s Running Mate – by p2t2r(op): 1:42pm On Oct 27, 2018
The Special Adviser to Governor Willie Obiano on Political Matters, Barr Ifeatu Obi-Okoye has said that the Anambra Governor refused to congratulate his predecessor, Mr Peter Obi over his emergence as the vice presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, because there was nothing to celebrate about it.

Obi had received a barrage of congratulatory messages upon the announcement of his nomination by the presidential candidate of the PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, and many expected that Obiano, his successor, would have done same.

The media aide to Obiano, Mr James Eze, rather disowned a Facebook page, which claimed to be Obiano’s, and had a congratulatory message to the former governor.

But explaining the reason for the refusal of Obiano to do so, Obi-Okoye said there was nothing to be euphoric about a mere pick as a vice presidential candidate.

He argued that Obi was not yet a vice president, while also adding that APGA as a party also has its own presidential and vice presidential candidates, who the PDP’s cannot claim to be better than.

When the presidential candidate of the PDP in next year’s general elections nominated Obi as his running mate, jubilation erupted across the state, but without any comment from the state government.

Obi-Okoye said, “Let’s get something clear; I don’t think Peter’s nomination as VP candidate calls for any congratulatory message. If he becomes the vice president, we will congratulate him.

“We (APGA) are running for the presidential election against PDP and we fielded a candidate who we believe can win the the PDP candidate, so we have no reason to celebrate Obi. Otherwise, we are saying we have already acknowledged that they will defeat us.

“But I want to say as you have mentioned that as someone who is from here, and who was in APGA, that if by any chance Obi becomes a VP, we will congratulate him. For now, we are in the trench, planning how we can win the election for APGA.

“You may not believe that we have chances, so also would you not have believed that a footballer would become the president of Liberia, or would you not have believed that the current president of Ghana would have defeated an incumbent.”

Obi-Okoye contended that there would be surprises in the 2019 polls, saying that nobody should rule out the chances APGA in the race.

“There are so many factors that will play out in 2019, the ethnic factor, security factor, the lack of governance, the inability of politicians to keep faith with the people. What we should all watch out for is that the election is not rigged.”

PoliticsConfirmed: Apga Has Only One Senator In The Senate. by p2t2r(op): 8:31am On Aug 29, 2018
They've been indications that Sen. Stella Oduah is not an APGA member and some people think it's just a smear campaign against her. No, it is not. It is a patriotic effort to stop PDP from sneaking in to destroy APGA.
It has been confirmed that APGA has only one senator in the Senate and it is not Stella Oduah but our own Victor Umeh.
In the records of the Senate, Sen. Oduah is a PDP senator. She is in the PDP Senate caucus and attends their meetings. Do u have any idea of the kind of issues that are discussed in such caucus meetings. They discuss and strategize on how to make PDP stronger in the country. It also means that they plan on how to win back States they lost to other parties and that include, how they will win back Anambra State.
This is why Stella Oduah has not and cannot declare for APGA in the Senate because she is not APGA but PDP. As PDP in Anambra is now firmly under the control of former governor Peter Obi, it is difficult for her to get their ticket because of last year's governorship primaries bust up. APGA is the only feasible channel back to the Senate and she erroneously believes that by wearing APGA gowns and giving out her Greek gifts, we would all be fooled at the same time.
If you are still in doubt of this high wired fraud to deny APGA of its greatest chance of having a true and authentic Anambra North senator in the Senate, please listen to the Senate Committee Chairman on Public Accounts, Sen. Mathew Urhoghide.
The senator in flaying APC's desperation to remove the Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki said that, "if you want to remove the Senate President, there is a constitutional procedure. Sec 52(2) of the Constitution says that only 2/3 of the entire membership of the Senate after resolution can remove the Senate president."
Speaking further, the Distinguished Senator added, "--again sec 50 (a) of the same Constitution as amended says there shall be the president of the Senate which shall be elected by members of the Senate. It did not say by the party in power or the party that has the majority. There is nothing in the Constitution which talks about any political party producing Senate president".
Now listen to Sen. Urhoghide's bombshell. "---we can decide to elect Sen. Victor Umeh, the only APGA senator as our president".
This is from a senator who should know. Victor Umeh is the only APGA senator in the Senate. Stella Oduah will come down to Anambra and pretend to be APGA in order to con all of us and steal Anambra North ticket for her party, the PDP.
So many senators have openly and with dignity decamped to other parties. Saraki has openly decamped to PDP and former Senate minority leader, Akpabio has openly and proudly decamped to the APC. They were bold about it because they believe in their actions.
Stella Oduah has not decamped to APGA and will never because she does not believe in APGA and she is not proud of APGA. To her APGA represents a strategically strong party owned and managed by political nitwits, who can do anything for money.
But now is time to show her that APGA is not a party of ignoramuses. We are an upwardly mobile political party and we must find the courage to do what is right and refuse to be used as Saraki used APC.
PoliticsEFCC Grills Oduah Over N9.4b Contract. by p2t2r(op): 8:31pm On Aug 28, 2018
After about 10 months of dilly-dallying, former Aviation Minister Stella Oduah yesterday appeared before an Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) panel.

She was grilled for about eight hours by detectives over a N9, 443,549,531.25 contract awarded to I-Sec Security Nigeria Limited for the procurement and installation of security equipment in 22 airports.

She showed up as the agency got set to declare  her wanted.

A United States (U.S.) firm, Psybernetix Limited, has alleged that the ex-minister hijacked the contract for a firm  in which she has a stake.

The EFCC may invite the representatives of the US company to testify against Mrs. Oduah, it was learnt yesterday.

According to a source, Mrs Oduah, who arrived at the EFCC Abuja office at about 11am, was immediately taken to a team of detectives for interrogation.

The source, who pleaded not to be named, said: “After shifting many appointments in the last 10 months, Sen. Stella Oduah came for grilling on the N9, 443,549,531.25 contracts awarded to I-Sec Security Nigeria Limited for the procurement and installation of security equipment in 22 airports across the country.

“We invited her since 13th June, 2017 but she kept giving excuses. We were about to declare her wanted when she appeared before our team.

“The allegations against her include non-execution of the project in some airports, abandonment of the contract in a few ones, diversion of part of the contract sum and suspected case of money laundering.

“We have taken her statement and from this preliminary interrogation, she will still need to come again because many people and organisations are coming up with figures.”

Psybernetix Limited was originally awarded  the contract. It alleged that the contract was unilaterally awarded to I-Sec Ltd without any approval by ex-President Goodluck Jonathan.

The firm, in a status report  obtained by The Nation, said: “We are a successful and experienced US-based Firm of National security Consultants, with projects across the world.

“We also have an office in Abuja, amongst other strategic world capitals. Aviation Security, being one of our areas of practice, we wrote the 88-page proposal for the Nigerian project under reference, spent millions of dollars bringing in various experts to make presentations in Nigeria, local logistics, travel, and sundry fees.

“Our senior executives lived at the Abuja Hilton for over a year, working exclusively on securing these contracts.

“We still have the original award letters, but we had to walk away from the projects two days to the full (100 %) disbursement of the contract value, as approved by the President in writing, because of the outrageous, brazen, extortionate, and criminal demands made.

“The question that should interest all serious-minded people should be: Why did Psybernetix that had spent a lot of money and time chasing these two contracts reject the contracts two days before the full payment for the first contract (N9.4 billion) was to be made?

“ We wasted a year and a lot of money chasing these opportunities, but our principles dictated that we should  not accept Ms. Oduah’s demands.

“One of her principal demands was to engage a newly-incorporated company with zero experience in Security, Program Management, Project Management, or Global Logistics, as our technical partners. On what basis really? What impudence?

“ She also wanted us to issue post-dated cheques totaling several billions of Naira in favor of this her preferred company (I-Sec Ltd, as well as Zuren Ltd), front companies belonging to her friend and business partner, Walter Wagbotsama.

“This man has just been jailed in the UK for international money laundering and fraud. His associates are still in Nigeria, and we know them all. We know her bankers and all their modus operandi. These details have been shared with our Attorneys in the US and Nigeria, as well as certain law enforcement agencies in the US.

A few valid and germaine posers:

“•       We refused outright to have anything to do with Stella Oduah’s companies, especially I-Sec (a company that was hastily incorporated to perpetrate this fraud). This company had zero Security, Program Management, Project Management, or Global Project Execution experience, so, on what basis would a company of our stature and reputation engage them as our technical partners?

“•  It will be appropriate to see the so-called (obviously forged) document(s) purporting to reflect this so-called technical partnership. We can easily provide our standard letterhead and specimen signatures as well as our standard Technical Partnership Agreement, for easy comparison, if required.

“•Can Stella Oduah and her cohorts please provide the documents evidencing the approvals and contract awards to I-Sec? We have ALL our documents, and there is zero mention of I-Sec on any of them.

“ It is offensive and preposterous for Stella Oduah to claim that we rejected the contracts because the contract value was reduced from N10 billion to N9.4 billion. This is silly, false. The contract value was never N10b. We rejected the contracts because we rejected her demands and conditions. We refused to stain our reputation by acceding to her requests, including writing cheques totaling several billions of Naira upfront in favor of her front companies, including I-Sec.

“When we rejected the contracts, she altered and forged documents, and unilaterally awarded the contracts to I-Sec Ltd; this was her preferred position ab initio.

“Can Stella Oduah provide documents to show that the President, FEC, BPE, etc., approved the formal transfer of the contract to I-Sec? She cannot, because no such approvals were  sought or obtained. She arbitrarily and fraudulently converted our rights under the contracts to her front company, I-Sec Ltd., on the false, criminal, and wicked representation that they were our Technical Partners !!!

“Even if theoretically, there was ANY technical partnership between the two companies (and there was none, as I-SEC had zero value to add to us, and we had determined that I-SEC was clearly incorporated by Stella Oduah and Walter Wagbotsama for the purpose of defrauding both ourselves and the Federal Government), the proper thing to do when we (the sole awardee of the contracts) reluctantly decided to forgo the contracts was to start the Procurement and Approval process all over again, and not to casually forge documents, misrepresent facts, and assign the contracts to one’s front company— a company that had zero pedigree, track record, or known to the Approving Authorities.

“Our international reputation and track record was, thus, used to secure the contracts, only for Stella Oduah’s company with zero experience to inherit the benefits. A classic case of fraud".

PoliticsStella Oduah's Comedy On Sapientia Radio. by p2t2r(op): 10:04pm On Aug 27, 2018
Earlier today, the DG of Senator Stella Oduah's Campaign Organization, Neighbour To Neighbour, was on Sapientia Radio, to tell Ndi Anambra North, how the Senator has been touching their lives. We don't have problems with this because the cause of the zone is bigger and more important that anybody's ego trip. Philanthropy is good and worthy, especially when it benefits ordinary people who are not expected to pay back. As long as Ms Oduah is on a mission of help for votes, she is campaigning and not engaged in any philanthropic work. For this reason, we believe that today's jamboree on Radio Sapientia was unnecessary, pretentious and fruitless.

19 years of unbroken democracy has now helped our over deceived people to correctly distinguish between selfless philanthropy and Greek gifts. Oduah is not engaged in philanthropy. What she has in her hands are Greek gifts, designed and intended to hoodwink and manipulate ignorant people to vote for her. In PDP it may work but in APGA, such daft recourse to fraud was dead on arrival.

Stella Oduah is still under the influence of PDP mentality and it is the reason for her ignorant belief that, Umu Ogbahu, Umu Otu and Umu Omambala are still stupid. Where was she all these years? Was she in Anaku, Omor or Ifite Ogwari during the 2012 flood? Was she in Ogwu-Ikpele, Igbariam or Nkutaku when rice was sold #25,000 a bag and poor people were dying of hunger. It is now election season and suddenly she remembers us in a frenzy of belated and dubious philanthropy. As Charlie Boy and co. would say, "our mumu do do".

We advice Ms Oduah to desist from creating more financial troubles for herself. Though we now know she doesn't have the money she is spending, she should know, that no amount of spending would bequeath her Anambra North Senatorial ticket. APGA is not as foolish as PDP and its members are not as gullible too. We know she is not APGA, that she is only desperately looking for a return route to the Senate, after which she will dump our great party and make us look like the idiots that we are sincerely not.

It is in her very best interest to seek mature guidance in her present ambition. That will educate her that in any political party there are general party members on one part and tested, trusted and loyal party members on the other part. Every serious political party entrusts its mandates to the members of this later group and not to wandering political opportunists. Members of this group are identified by their long services and dedication to the party and not by the frenzy or frequencies of their personal ambitions or the size of their wallets.

Somebody should have told Senator Oduah, that exchanging PDP's gown with APGA's flowing gown, with Ikemba and Akpokuedike's heads on it, does not make anyone tested, trusted and faithful APGA member. Those gowns can be sown anywhere and can also be worn by anyone.

Moreover, we have noted with chagrin, Stella Oduah's strategic refusal to declare for APGA in the Senate. She is still by Senate records a PDP senator. She only hopes to use APGA to return to the Senate.

Written records don't lie. It is on written record that Oduah registered in APGA in June, 2018. If not for arrogance, pride and unguided ambition, how could a sane person believe that two months membership of a political party would make her more tested, more trusted and more loyal than individuals, who have been in the party for years and have served the party and its administration in different capacities. Let someone please tell Stella Oduah that money does not buy any of the above virtues. If money buys test it is expo; if it buys trust it is inducement; if it buys loyalty it is sycophancy. APGA does not represent any of these three social ills and so, we are very confident that Stella Oduah will not be allowed to reap where she did not sow.

APGA is a party heading to the top in the country and should not be represented in the National Assembly or anywhere else by controversial persons, who cannot give straight accounts of their academic claims. The Sapientia Radio host would have asked her DG some of the questions below:

Didn't Stella Oduah claim in her résumé to the Senate, that she obtained an MBA degree from St. Paul's College, Lawrenceville, Virginia, USA?

Didn't the President of the College in response to enquiries declare that, in 125 years of the school's existence, it had never had a graduate school or program?

Didn't Stella Oduah claim also to have been honoured with a Ph.D by another institution, which institution on enquiry by Saharareporters was found not to exist?

Can someone please ask the DG if these do not amount to fraud - forgery?
Did Assets Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON) take over Stella Oduah's holding company, SEA PETROLEUM AND GAS LIMITED and its affiliated companies, on the orders of court?

Did the Court not order the freezing of the accounts of the companies and their promoters i.e Stella Oduah and co?

Did AMCON not take over the premises of Stella Oduah's companies, her Filling Stations, houses, Tank Farms and Agricultural farms?

Is it not true that all these is because Stella Oduah is indebted to the tune of #20 billion and can no longer pay?

Is this the profile of a responsible, focused and diligent representative that APGA should be searching for?

These are more important and fundamental issues to be discussed on radio rather than the over repeated noise of "I did this and I did that".

We still insist that APGA is neither Bank of Industry or a Microfinance Bank that help failed business persons or businesses.

SBG04:
That's how you know Saraki is a dangerous criminal. The IGP ordered for the transfer of some arrested cultists to Abuja. Which is a routine police transfer. How on earth is the governor privy to the fact that the IGP intends to use the suspects to implicate Saraki? Did the IGP phone the governor and inform him that he intends to implicate him? The most logical scenario that is playing out here is that the governor and Saraki's cultists were arrested by the police in Kwara. The governor tried to bail his "boys" out but the police commissioner refused. He then ordered the transfer of the case to Abuja. Saraki and Ahmed, knowing the implication of the transfer to Abuja are now trying to expose themselves before Idris exposes them. Simple!!!
You might be all wrong sha. Or are you one of the boys, that you're so sure, that this is what is happening?
