deomelo: Atiku is dumber than dumb.
If INEC actually engaged in electronic transmission of results , it means they violated the electoral laws and the whole results and election must be thrown out in favor of new elections.
This is the best case scenario and best option option for Atiku because since his main issue is transmission of election results via a server which is illegal, the server shouldn't be the real issue, it should have been illegal transmission of election results.
.....but Atiku and his lawyers are either dumb and incompetent or they are just playing games and wasting our time. Nice one.. The law did not permit electronic transmission of results, but there was electronic collation of results in the last elections.. Inec is the cause of this confusion and they are trying to back out |

frankson1: I made corrections to the post you quoted.
If results were transmitted to a server, how was it distributed to the different political parties?
I DID NOT TRANSMIT ELECTION RESULTS TO ANY SERVER AND IT WASN'T ELECTION RESULTS THAT WERE TRANSMITTED. Ask your PO.. After transmitting the verified cards data(pass and fail) on your SCR, you will do E-Collation where you will assign the number of votes each party scored in your unit and then transmit it too.. |

tuniski: Why is it difficult for you to understand? Let me explain to you again; accreditation was done by the card reader and it is mandatory. If the card reader fails to authenticate your PVC you can't validly vote. However, after the card reader has accredited you, you are then given a ballot paper to vote manually. At the end of the voting, the ballot papers are sorted and results collated manually.
It is after this phase that the results as collated manually are then transmitted to the central server using same card reader by the E-transmission (the inec official empowered to do so) Leave that guy, he just came online and started lying that he was a PO, when he knows nothing like Jon Snow.. A PO that does not know what is E-collation... Once i saw your writeup i knew you participated in the elections |

frankson1: The SCR was used for VERIFICATION and AUTHENTICATION but where the SCR fails to do any of the two and the voter's name is on the voter's register then the voter can proceed to cast his vote.
Yeah, INEC had server where the voters information was uploaded to. But the question I keep asking is ; did the SCR identify each of the political parties that was voted for? Did the SCR state the results in figures to each political party? If only PDP can explain how the party came about the result.
INEC and APC lawyers are 'otondo' sef Bro stop lying, You were not a PO in this 2019 elections maybe in previous elections but not 2019 elections, for this last elections 1) if the card reader does not verify your card, you are not voting even if your name is on the voter's register. You can vote though if it fails to authenticate but it must verify 2)if you were a PO in this last election you should have known what E-Collation is, and also been given a username and password for E-Collation for your polling unit.. |

Michellekabod2: Well,I am fighting for both male and female here. Men shouldn't be shamed for having sex or not,it's their choice.... female shouldn't be shammed for having sex or not....the fact guys are shammed doesn't make it right...let both genders be left alone to do what they wish with their bodies....what do you say? what i am trying to point out is that people will always talk, people will always try to put you down, People will always want to bring down your self esteem. It's your decision as a human to stand by your choices whether they try to shame you or not and don't give a f$#k about what ever nonsense they try to say. Nice points you have been raising though, Enjoyed having this little chitchat with you |

Michellekabod2: Thank you, I was limiting my discussion to the relationship/sexual aspect yesterday,in order to discuss on other aspects like politics some other day. The issue of sexuality is one very big stuff! A crucial part of human life. The idea of shamming a lady who has sex is not right. The woman been blamed for a divorce is wrong as well. A married couple divorce, and then the society calls her a failed woman, she is stigmatised. For this reasons ladies have stayed in bad marriages. The idea of cheating also. A man cheat of his wife and she is encouraged to pray and dress sexy, she is blamed for the cheating. But a woman cheats, and she is tagged a LovePeddler...
The hygiene stuff as well. Infact please do refer to my opening post for more points Lol, on the issue of sexuality, But male and female are stigmatized or shamed due to their sexual choices, While the female are shamed for having sex, the males are shamed when they are not having sex/Not performing well during sex e.g Females made fun of Churchill when Tonto accused him of being a 40 seconds man, Also men who decide not to have sex before marriage or be celibate are also made fun of and shamed by the society. So males and females are shamed for their sexual choices |

netpro: Guy stop abeg. Did you vote on the Card Reader or you thumbprinted on ballot paper?
Apart of being used to accreditation (verifying you are a valid Voter, the card reader is completely ignorant of every other aspects of the day's activities. Like where ballots where snatched, voters that went home without voting, those that manually got accredited, etc. Bro, I was part of the last elections, There was e-collations of results to Inec server from each polling unit at the end of vote counting, You can ask any corper you know that was a PO, any SPO, RaTech etc..There was no manual accreditation in the last elections, The card reader must read your card for you to be permitted to vote..Although, PDP has no claim because while Inec created a server, The electoral laws do not permit it, the electoral laws only acknowledge Manual accreditation. |

Michellekabod2, please I would like you to point out areas where women are not treated equally to men because we have been hearing of this equal treatments without pointing areas where females are treated below men in today society.. for instance 60-100 years ago we could say that males were allowed to go to school while the female child was denied education, Females were not permitted to drive cars like male etc..can you point out some examples like those ones in "today society" |

pansophist: I unequivocally put it to you that feminism everywhere wants the good stuff and not the responsibility that comes with it. Now mention any country you know of, that feminism is different from what is practised in naija, then I'll agree. I live in the west and have lived in Nigeria. It's all same.
Okay let me give you one example that happened just an hour ago. I'm writing you from a club house now (I'm in my 20's hello), and the bouncer refused to let men without girls inside the club. I could go in since i came with my girlfriend. Single girls got in, but not single men. How is that fair? Now turn the table round, will feminist be quiet if its women treated like this? How about military conscription that is compulsory for Male and not for women?
Feminism is a good movement, in the past not now. Its hypocritical and a mask for misandrist. Nice points raised Bro indeed feminism now is just "hatred for men" because no one is stopping any woman from achieving anything ..I am just pointing to the fact that the African Feminists are worse compared to the rest. For instance, A Feminists in the West may not mind splitting the bills for dates, movies etc but a African Feminists will tell you at that point "Are you not the Man". |

I have been a guest on nairaland for sometime, but this post forced me to register so I can comment..Are you a Nigerian?? If yes, this is one of the best understanding of feminism I have seen from a Naija Babe although I may disagree with 1 or 2 of your points but its normal we can't agree on everything . I don't have problems with feminism but I avoid the Nigerian Feminists because it seems they all want the Pros and not the cons of the movement. A naija feminist will still go with the mentality of "His money is ours but my money is mine".. Also the modern feminist is not fighting against injustices to women but is rather directing her fight against man. In Nigeria for example, One of the greatest injustice against women is caused by women(The way madam treats her housegirl) but I don't see Feminists fighting against that injustice which happens everyday and everywhere. I hope in the future when I have a daughter I will raise her to be a feminist that will stand against injustices against women and not the type that just hate on men and find fights/problems on social media where there seems to be none. |
