RomanceRe: I Don't Know What My Problem Is With Men And Dating by Paccus:
Beverlyjean:
I love Tyler Perry's movies for one thing ...it tells stories of the reality of life... Acrimony showed us how most of we women think .... The woman in the movie felt so entitled cos she sponsored the man all thru their existence together but dint 100% believe ,trust or loved the man ... He loved her a hundred percent but also believed in his dreams a hundred percent ... When u both come together as one , u both should trust ur dreams a hundred percent , even if it doesn't work in the end ... Most times God brings these challenges to test us ... And most times we give up in the dying minutes... She was the man's distraction but dint realise it... Love is for better for worse till the end ... But because she felts entitled , she tried to control him , and u can't take a man away from what he believes in..u can only support till the end ... She made the decision to move on , the man still came bk to beg but he was ridiculed ... Most women get bad advice from friends and relatives ... We women are not good managers cos we are illogical cos that's the way we are wired , but feminism has come to decieve most of us .... When a man truly loves a woman , nothing can ever change that feeling unless she cheats ... But when a woman loves a man alot of factors can change those feelings ... The woman in acrimony had an unforgiving spirit and that's y she dint accept him bk till she heard he was now in money ... Any woman that supports the woman in acrimony is a red flag , a glaring one at that
Harlequeen maybe you should talk to this lady, I think the problem is that you don’t understand men and Beverly here really do. Also, you are still showing signs that you are not over your previous relationship although you have tried to be strong. Also Harlequeen do you consider yourself an Introvert??

I opened this account because my main one is pretty popular.

I've had this issue and don't know what's wrong.
I can't seem to get into a new relationship. I am now 25, about serving

To be honest, i just want some words of advice and encouragement, you can ask me questions if you want. This approach of mine? Is it the right thing? Am i being too smart for my own good? Am i afraid of commitment?
I know you may not see this since the thread is already far gone, There is nothing wrong in you setting standards on who you want to be in a relationship with, what you listed are great but if I am to advice you as my sister I will tell you to try to put your eyes on men also who are your senior with only 3-5 years because if you are looking for an ambitious man that is older than you with minimum 10 years, that is 35 year old minimum, most ambitious men who are 35 years old are already married, some who already have plans to leave the country have already left the country by that age so finding someone becomes harder. Goodluck

Many are leaving the country the country, the ones that got stuck in Libya during the war ,refuse to come back home to Nigeria... The ones that are coming back don't have not fully faced reality yet.. If you leaving the comfort of good electricity, good jobs, good roads, Good Health care system, security , better education etc to come to Nigeria ,and the ones in Nigeria are trying to leave by all means possible... Oga I don't know what does ones leaving to come to Nigeria are smoking.. Whatever it is must be very strong.... Strongest strain of weed ......

Let us be objective here.. Certain things need to be put in place before things can work.. The basic necessities that the government is supposed to provide.. It is now luxury things to those that can afford them.. Doing business in Nigeria itself so tough , me that I do business self it is tough for me .. I don't see myself ever staying and leaving in Nigeria.. The most I can is two months at a time.. Even the wealthy in Nigeria go back and fourth between their homes in South Africa, London, USA etc.. This gives them room to escape the madness and total dysfunctional that is going on in the country.. Large percentage of them are the cause for it.. People will say foreigners are making money in Nigeria.. Yes the lucky few or so .. But where is the money they are making going to ? It is going back to their own country to enjoy, the are taking their profits back to their country of origin.. Even the people in politics that are chopping money in government.. Those ones are taking stolen money oversea for save keeping, away from instability of the economy. Those are going back to Nigeria to settle finally ,I wish them the best of luck. ..

Ps.. The ones leaving the country are more than the ones coming to stay... That alone should tell you something..
I am sure that man or woman is a retiree, who is in his late 50s to 60s...it is wonderful to retiree in Nigeria after working in USA... you earn your pension in dollars and spend in Naira grin grin, he will automatically become a very rich man in that ibadan, any small sickness he will book ticket to US for treatments grin, if he was earning in naira he will know how far

In Nigeria you say? With influence? Come on brother. The same evidence she has is amounted to what cosby was sentenced with. I guess you are looking at evidence from a physical aspect.

the case wasnt tried. In sane societies rape cases are dealth delicately. Evidence can come through any form and not just by physical factors. If not, abstract factors like polygraph test and psychological state wouldnt be admissible in a court of law. I was also pointing out to the case of bill cosby, what physical evidence was tendered that nailed him? A crime he commited over 30 years ago.
lol, go and read the bill cosby case again, most of the victims came with police reports 1 month after the rape incident, Busola did not make any police report when the alleged rape occured, Also they came with an evidence of an incriminating statement that bill cosby made sometime ago...if they presented the same type of case Busola lawyers presented it would still been thrown out, Busola lawyers were at fault here, they presented a disorganized case

Engineers are in demand too but not as much as nurse. I can't comment on the level of difficulty of a nursing degree but I know a getting an Engineering degree is not a walk in the park. Very demanding as per work load and maths intensive.

I believe people should just follow their dreams anf heart desires. I would never do be able to fit into a medical line because I dislike anything Biology. I enjoy maths, so I found myself in Engineering. As per occupation, nothing beats earning a good wage from what you love doing.
Thanks a lot, reading you and Bossman comments just put smile on my face, i asked based on your last comment, making good wage from what you love is very important considering the cost of Education in USA... Personally i can never do Nursing, But seems everyone was just saying go into Nursing if you immigrate, it was getting me confused because i want to continue in my Engineering field but people just discourage me that since my First degree is in Nigeria it will affect me even if i get my Masters in the US but i am willing to take that risk now.. I will also start to put small eyes in IT from now on and maybe get 1 or 2 certifications as a second choice here in Nigeria first(Bossman which certifications/software do you suggest, i don't know anything about IT oo, Engineers na AutoCAD, Solidworks, ANSYS, PDMS etc we sabi oo, lol) for when i eventually move

i think its the demand that makes Nigerians go into Nursing or IT or are they paid better than Engineers?? Is there no demand for Engineers??

Paccus, you asked a question and someone posted this response...

Very Very Very narrow minded answer.

A young Nigerian acquires a Bsc, puts together thousands of $, packs his/her bags, and heads off to a foreign land and Babyvet thinks our greatest achievement will be to have married an American?

There are several options to regularizing one's stay in the US. 1 Masters and 2 PhD candidate self petitioned for themselves in 2017/2018.

Several companies have processed the H1b for at least 10 graduates I can think of as I type. This happened between 2018-2019.

As Lionlee has pointed out, in some situations, the paperwork was already filled before the wedding took place. 'Please stay in the U.S with me' naim remain make chics deh tell boys.

I won't be replying BabyV anymore, her thought process na one way.
lol Boss Macky, i see am but no be every drumbeat i go dance to na grin grin... when i see her for this thread, i know say she go find way to throw shade at you one way or the other(upon say you been dey answer her question well), no just respond to her drumbeat na attention she dey find grin grin, i dey pity her sha maybe one guy man don chop and clean mouth don make the brain loose alignment small, but its a pity that After all this her raking for nairaland na another Naija guy man go use packaging rearrange the alignment, throttle her motor dey go(Boss Macky, you trust guys for the matter na)...
