1b8m: thanks! They say getting an American visa is almost impossible these days. Do people still get visa to the US, do you think it's wise I still give it a try considering the cost of registering for tests and processing the admission? Bro, if you are going for PH.D and you receive full funding, there is a high probability you will receive your visa... people who are denied visa mostly are masters students and people who don’t have full funding. Cost is not much when considering the future benefits |

ednut1: cant qualify with 1 year experience these days. Scores are now high. Needs 3 years experience There are many way to kill a rat... I know someone who studied law. during his service year, he first pass IELTS easily due to his background as a lawyer then he used the remaining months of NYSC to learn French and passed TEF exam... bro his CRS score was very high, far above the cut off for express Entry, even people with 3 years or more experience were not close to his scores |

drehdinho: How is this possible? just for me to pass the IELTS ? Someone mentioned landed immigration, and when I checked, I didn't see myself in any of the qualified categories. Through Express Entry bro, Law school is calculated as Masters and with a good IELTS score your crs score will be high enough.. you just need to have enough money for Pof after you have received your ITA.. you can do everything by yourself, no need to engage the services of an agent.. save that money for something else |

1b8m: thanks! If my industrial training, nysc industrial attachment and one year of voluntary service doesn't make up for the 3yrs working experience then I don't have that. Would it be a problem? How easy is it to get admitted for a PhD program in Canada and will 10m foot the 3yr period? Thank you very much if you are going for PhD in Engineering, go to USA.. use some Money and write GRE, you may most likely get full funding and TA/RA and won’t spend any money which means you have about 9m to plan for other things over there |

Babyvet: I did not attack Mackey , I only stated the truth. He did not follow his own advice , the man came on student visa and then got married that how he stayed back in the country. There is nothing wrong with that, but we must be truthful when advising people. It’s much easier to go through the marriage route then the job sponsorship route . Did you follow his thread from the beginning??because mackynaija mentioned all those things how difficult it is to get internships and Jobs for international students and the challenges he faced trying to get an internship and how he was unsuccessful because most companies are not willing to sponsor again for H1B...That’s why I felt your comments about him where unnecessary, he was also polite in answering your questions that day |

I would have made a bet that Warren might beat Trump but it seems that Bernie has taken most of her supporters to his side. Bernie is trying though... he has good plans and offer things like free Medicare, free education, Free childcare, free housing, also undocumented will have same welfare and opportunities like the documented |

Muleriders: Your chances are super slim, you are also not planning well.
Ass is 2 years program same as masters.
Since you already have Bsc. Apply straight for masters in your computer course. So many schools in US (my school for example) accept applicants from any undergraduate background into masters, you will just have to take few undergraduate pre-requisites.
Telling the VO that you already have a degree is a straight disqualification to your ASS, it's like graduating from a university and advancing to enroll to an OND in polytechnic What’s the name of your school please?? |
