You're correct. Forget about what we see, we need stats to prove there is an inflation in in the country.

Forget about what the media reports, we also need stats to prove that the Presidency just got a new A300 jet and Escalade car.

Forget about what we pay, we need stats to know that subsidy was removed from anything.

Hell, we even need stats to know this post was made on Nairaland.
What an intelligent response?
This people sometimes talk as if they are not in this Nigeria.
If someone tells you he buys 2 cups of beans for #1000 in Calabar today,to them, the person must present stats to confirm that 2 cups of beans is sold for 1k.

Ajaero is acting as if he is above the law.

The Force PRO in an interview on Channels TV said the NLC rented their second floor to someone implicated in terrorism. He also said there was suspicious correspondence between the person of interest and NLC leadership.

Ajaero needs to honour the invitation and set the record straight. Delaying by a week is likely to impede investigations and makes him look guilty.
Why una body dey pepper una like this for this matter?
Person received invite yesterday evening, next thing come tomorrow by 10am bra bra bra.
Person say him been don already get official engagement before the invite say him dey come there next week.

Pinicop:
I don't feel bad about that post by South Africans.

We, Nigeruans, hate ourselves:

Yorubas are calling Igbos "fl@theads,"

Igbos are calling Yorubas "conehe@ds,"

Northern Muslims, mostly Hausas are regarding any non-Muslim as "arne" or infidel. Kanuris are calling them "kirdi".

Hausa, Fulani and Kanuri Muslims also considered Muslims from other tribes as "semi-Muslims," i.e. not fully Muslims.

Southerners are calling Northerners "@bokis," meaning "fools."

Men look at women as "useless," while the women consider men as "useful idiots."

Nigerians also have many deragotary terms for different tribes among themselves, inxluding

"Bagware" (any non-Hausa speaker).
"Gara" (from Igala tribe, meaning idiot to Hausas).
"Y@mleggers" (for Igbo women).
"Afonj@" (for Yoruba Muslims).
"Omolu@bis" (Yoruba Christians)
Fulanis called Hausas "Kado" (senseless).
Hausas called Fulanis "agwai" (stupid).
"Skull miners" = Yorubas.
"Baby factory" children = Igbos,
Etc.

Nigerians hate themselves based on regional chauvanism, tribal bigotry, and religious fanaticism.

We are our own worst enemies.

Specialist in swimming, you said?
There are so many instances in turbulent water that no amount of specialization in swimming can save you.
If you look at the profile of the late officer, you will discover that he is one of the best trained specialists in swimming and in under water diving currently now in the Nigeria Navy.
So it's not about specialty in swimming at times my brother.Though you are not far from the truth.

Is that not stupidity of the highest order?

You have defeated yourself in your own argument.

Responses to the first tweet (about protest).
From the responses here, this clearly shows that South Africans are very weird and the lowest thinking set of black people on earth.
So, can't they find a single interpreter in their country to interpret the language used in the video for them before the start making useless and senseless comments?
What is more surprising to me is their federal government through the so called ministry of home affairs toeing the same path that their illiterate social media ranters toed.
So can't their government look for or pay an interpreter to translate the Igbo language for them to enable them make an informed decision on the matter?
What a country!!
Even me as a private individual, upon seeing the video here,I immediately called one of my colleagues who is an Igbo girl to come and interpret the video for me.She just did.I even call a corpper too separately and asked for interpretation and he confirmed the same thing that my colleague said. And in all this,it didn't take me up to 30 minutes to know the truth. But a country of over a million people can't investigate a simple matter like this and get the truth for almost a month now?
Or are they intentionally being mischievous?
It is only one of them, one Goldman Starz that tried to be reasonable a little by asking if they have Aquafina table water in Mzanzi. And he concluded by saying that the video actually took place in Nigeria and not in SA.The rest of the south Africans were numbskulls.

Look at the insult to Nigeria by them.
These are the people our fathers spent a lot of resources that would have been used to develop our country to liberate their fathers from the hands of the apartheid whites whom they now still worship as a demigod today.
I won't blame our fathers though because they were actually thinking they were helping their junior brothers to gain freedom not knowing that they were helping bunch of ungrateful, ingratitude and toxic set of human beings in the name of african brotherhood.

The exchange rate is determined by what you produced for the rest of the world Vs what you consume from the rest of the world.

You can't be a consumming Nation and still demanding that your currency should be strong.

Show us one poor country with strong currency.

This is like the children from a civil servant parents demanding that they must live in duplex and ride Bentley as family cars

So who suppose to create the enabling environment for the manufacturing sector you are talking about?
Is it an ordinary citizen or the government?

My brother, whether I am speaking out of ignorance..oo as you said or from the point of knowledge..oo,the bottom line is that,it is the government bad policies that has caused naira to lost value.
If you like, you believe and if you don't like, leave it.
Even one example that you set above as the cause of lost of value of naira is still as a result of bad governance and policy summersault by the government.
So I still stand by what I said that it is government bad policies that made naira to lost value.

How can they win something?
When one yeye man in the ministry of sports could not even know the registration center for our athletes .
How can you take one of your best athletes to the competition without registration and you expect to win a medal?

Very unserious set of leaders.
Secondly, how can they win medals when the officials in sport ministry choose to politicize sports?

For instance,in my area which is Niger Delta region,we were/are born inside water sef, everything about swimming, leave it for us.But some yeye tribalistic officials will leave a Niger Deltan to go and carry a Hausa/Fulani person from desert for swimming and canoe paddling competition in Olympic and you expect to win a medal?
Or you pick someone in a Niger Delta for hose riding competition instead of Fulani.
Politics, tribalism, religious affiliation and bribery and corruption won't allow us win any meda even in future l if we continue like this.

Honestly u are very naive

How can government cortrol naira going to 1550

Hope you are beyond that ss3 in your profile

Really, government cannot control currency depreciation or appreciation?
You must have gone to the back of school.
So you that claimed to have gone beyond SS3,you don't know that;
1. If government create enabling environment for manufacturing sector to thrive, that it can strengthen naira?
2.When government balances her trade by exporting at the same rate she is importing, that exchange rate will stabilize?
3. If government build her own refinery and refine oil locally for domestic consumption and export, that naira will appreciate?
4. If government improves national security expecially in rural area where agricultural activities are done, that more food will be produced leading to self-food sufficiency?
5. ......and a lot more.

Or is it that you don't know that all the above economy policies that control our national life indices are controlled by government?
Or is it that you are not aware that it is government failed policies that has caused naira to reach the #1550 against dollar that you are talking about?
And these are what the protesters are calling the government out for,and you are here saying protest is not the solution. That government can't control its currency loosing value every minute and....bla bla bla bla

Protest cant solve the problems in Nigeria. If you like, protest for 1 year, petrol price won't fall to #180 per litre

How can the exchange rate be $/1590 and you expect petrol to be #180 per litre. Naira needs to start strengtning before price will fall
When you people the ruling class keep saying that protest is not the solution to bad governance and economic mismanagement,I wonder what then is.
What have you people in the ruling class or supporters of ruling class ever brought to the table as alternative solutions to our economy problems.

You said the exchange rate is #1500 to a dollar,is it not government bad policies that caused it?
Was it the ordinary citizens that made naira to lost value completely?

The people cry, shouted, pleaded but government paid deaf ears to their plights.
So what then do you expect the people do?
Fold their alms and allow government get away with anything-goes policies?
Or clap for government for bringing untold hardship to them?
