The woman has lived to see the consequences of her husband's actions and inaction on the Igbo people. Maybe, if her husband and his co-coupists had not murdered prominent Nigerian leaders in the 60s, who were leading the country well Nigeria would have become a great nation by now. Maybe, this victim mentality we see being exhibited daily by a particular section of people would have been a thing not existing in the country.
May the soul of those who lost their lives during the senseless coup staged by this woman husband and her friends rest in perfect peace!
Shut up!!
Is that woman your mate?

Politics / Re: Yoruba community in Abia felicitates with Gov Otti, seeks Commissioner/SA role by Pacesetter123(m): 12:42am On May 30

Wow, this is great news! As a proud Yoruba person living in Aba, we are grateful for this development and look forward to being actively involved in your administration. May God bless you abundantly.
That is how it should be.
Everybody is free to live peacefully and own properties legitimately in any part of the country.
But whenever I see our Igbos and yorubas brothers fighting dirty in this forum as per who lives where and which region,I begin to wonder whether some of them even understand what they are doing.

Hausas that live in Calabar for a long time/was born there is qualified for any elective or appointive position.
The same goes to a Calabar man that had stayed or was born in Kano,or Yorubas in Abia or Anambra or Igbos in Lagos or Ekiti states.

Phones / Re: The Real Reasons Why You No Longer Find ATMs Giving Cash by Pacesetter123(m): 8:21am On May 22
The real reason,to me,is that there is no cash in the bank.
It's a deliberate policy of central bank headed by Cardozo to starve the banks of cash in order to create artificial scarcity cash to punish the poor masses.

Those in this present government were the same people who were dragging Godwin of the previous CBN administration for this same reason. But today, they and their supporters are clapping hands for the same policy simply bcuz it's done by their people.

Tell me how Nigeria can grow with this type of hypocritical mindset?
Phones / Re: The Real Reasons Why You No Longer Find ATMs Giving Cash by Pacesetter123(m): 8:12am On May 22
Olachase:
what you just said is pure lie, pos charge #100 for 5k
I hate this type of unverified statement and unfounded accusation.

If it's #100 per 5k in your area, what makes you think it's the same in every area? If someone tells you he buy petrol at 1k/litre in kaduna or Lagos today and another person says he buys it at #900 in Uyo or Owerri for instance, will a normal person in his right thinking faculty called the person that bought it at 1k in Lagos a liar simply bcuz another person bought it #900 in Uyo?

Just as the guy you quoted has rightly said, yesterday I was charged the same amount (#200) per 5k in my area.

So next time, speak of the price of goods or services in your area alone, stop calling people liars for saying what is obtainable in their area.

See as u speak very authoritatively condemning the guy like say you get POS kiosks in every villages in all the states of the federation to know the charges there.

The thing pain me pass the guy wey u even quote sef sad

It's ok to not want to marry a guy yet in his father's house, but my question is , what is the lady doing to help the situation? just giving the guy conditions without contributing anything. Even her wedding gown, she couldn't afford to make up for the part payment . The guy is struggling and going for someone that would put more burden rather than help him but God is trying to save him from such unwise decision.
My brother, it's a pity that ladies have such negative mindset that whenever they are married or are in any relationship with a man that the man must take full responsibility of all their problems.
The most pathetic situation is that some of them are working and are earning good salary but they can't contribute anything in a relationship bcuz of erroneous believe that it's man that should take care of their responsibilities.
It's so badddddd!
Family / Re: Bride Cancels Wedding In Vom, Jos Over Groom’s Refusal To Leave Family House by Pacesetter123(m): 12:21am On May 09
Despite any situation,I don't think it's proper for a man to marry and bring his wife into the family house to live in.

De kind wahala wey ur wife and ur Mama go dey get..ehh,u fit run mad in attempt to settle quell on daily basis.

So even if nah small two rooms, try rent am prior to ur marriage wey you and your wife go stay after marriage.

I don see wetin bin happen to my friend marriage bcuz of staying in family house.I learnt a lesson since then.

That being said, the lady in this case no also try at all.
She should have made her stance known to the guy right from day one of their relationship and not at the injury time she did.

Sheuns:

Can you afford to pay the levies?

The levy will be charged on all accounts and transactions except a few.

Do you fall into that category of the few?

Obi can afford to hold his money in foreign currencies outside the country devoid of much of these levies. Can you?

Additionally, the rich and wealthy are the smartest in paying little to no taxes because they can explore the loopholes in the tax laws.

Obi is a wealthy businessman, he can decide to pay the levies or explore the loopholes in them. He’s speaking out of concerns for majority of Nigerians that will be terribly affected by this policy.

You are wasting your time explaining things to people who don't even know their right from left.
How will they understand?

Right from day one that I saw the credentials of this Cardoso or Cardiwat,I knew he will be the worst CBN governor in the history of this nation.
I didn't see anything economic or banking in his credentials so I expect more economic policies summersault from him in the coming days.

And besides, him and his Oga kpatakpata is bringing Lagos State taxation template to the entire Nigeria.
It won't work for them cos it's aimed at impoverishing the already poor citizens the more.

chopnaira:

Maybe you think only your salary would go up while other living expenses cost remains stagnant

Everyone that can will also jack up cost of living too. Your landlord will increase your rent to 300k per month. Traders will increase their prices and inflation will go through the roof.
So now that his salary has not been increased to 650k,has the prices of those things you mentioned not increased?

So you rather prefer his salary remain stagnant while the cost of living increases by over 300% as it's currently?

Or what's exactly your point?
