When I was in primary school I heard about this story of a lady ghost that visits the Schools after normal school period or hostels at nights. It wears high heels and you can only hear the sound of the heels. Rumour then was that it was ghost of a former teacher, that it torments pupils/students. I only heard the story but never seen anyone that really witnessed it. Was is a Hoax or was it true? Did anyone hear or witnessed it? |
NFF should allow Keshi hire his own technical assistants. They should pay the assistants too not Keshi paying from his pocket as he did wish his current assistant. |
@OP keep dreaming. |
This time for Scolari to prove that Brazil is not just Neymar. I feel sorry for the guy though. With Neymar and Silva out, beating Germany will be very tough. |
Every team expects it's big players to step up at the world cup but in Nigeria's case our so called big players (mikel/moses) were very poor in this world cup. Mikel was the weakest link in midfield he could neither attack nor defend, I wish Keshi had play Azeez or Ruben along side Onazi. Moses on his on part was playing like a headless chicken, I never expected such poor performance from him. Anyway I hope Keshi continues and fixes the problem in our midfield. |
I have always wondered how it started, when I was little, at weddings, friends and well-wishers give gifts and cash to newly married couple during reception after wedding. This I understand, is to help support the newly wed couple, however I don't understand why the couple have to give gifts to friends and well-wishers who attended their wedding, most times in exchange for cash. How did it start? What's the reason for it? Is it a business venture? |
aguiyi: What is 10 years compared to 10billion naira, mthcew.Not only will you cough out the money, you will rot in jail for 10 years. Mtschew!! |
This song is wack. She should just face Nollywood. |
GEJ should match words with action by probing OBJ for corruption. Is a former president immuned from prosecution? |
Many times I read how many of us here shout and complain about corruption in this country. The big question is do you promote corruption in your vicinity or town? Do you offer bribe to policemen to while driving or trying to jump a queue? Prayer alone won't save this country! Faith without work is dead! We need to start doing things right! |
While FG & State Govt are to blame for poor infrastructure in our Universities. These Lecturers are to be blamed too, I remember those days my lecturers hardly come to school and when they do, they just read textbooks to us, they write substandard books and threaten us to buy them, they encourage sorting and laziness amongst students. ASUU should think of other ways of raising funds; get companies and billionaires fund one project or the other in our schools. I don't see reason why universities can't generate revenue from other means. The infrastructures on ground do they maintain them? Yet they get allocations yearly and collect school fees. Lets call a spade a spade ASUU is incompetent and so is FG & State govts, they shouldn't blame anyone for their failure. Substandard lecturers will produce substandard students irrespective of infrastructure. FG should look at sacking a whole bunch of them! |
Nigerians get the type of leadership they deserve! I keep saying this, until we start holding all our LG Chairmen, State Governors, Pastors, Imans, Igwes, Obas, Emirs, Fathers, Mothers, Ourselselves etc accountable for decisions and actions they taken in their various positions of power this country wont get any better. Have you ever thought, if all the state governors and local government chairmen are giving 80% since 1999 this country will be much better of. If all the state commissioners, legislators, pastors, ministers, councillors discharge their duties in sincerely with integrity don't you think this country will be better off? But they all use the federal government to move attention from the glaring truth. If you like make Obama the president of this country this country won't change unless we all change our attitudes. One big problem with we blacks is we abuse power no matter how little it is, only a few don't. Am not blaming GEJ, Amechi or anyone but we that tolerate mediocrity, corruption etc even in the smallest level of power. One person or group of persons cant be greater than a whole country except in Nigeria's case most us are like them! |

This is really interesting. No matter the area Cyber business is no longer what its used to be. The stress involved doesn't commensurate with the returns. The only solution is combining it with other things like typing setting, photocopy, selling of gadgets, have a nearby outlet for fast food, and ICT training. |
I think it was a good performance. But I was very disappointed by Lagos Fans attitude. Next time they will want super eagles to come play in Lagos. |
andyanders:Firstly it was an accident, so they didn't presume it. Secondly, they gave a press release on it. Be informed before you start rattling. How many times have MTN gone off and on, and how many times have they announced or apologized? How many times has that made headlines like this? The problem with many of you here is that you fail to appreciate good thing, maybe because its owned by a Nigerian. I think most of you are just jealous, if you don't like the network drop it an go over to other networks, lets see if that will be better. I have used all the networks, Glo is still more reliable than all of them whether you believe it or not its a FACT! |
The arrested girlfriend of kidnap kingpin, Obioma Nwankwo, a.k.a Osisikankwu, simply identified as Ogochi has revealed to soldiers where her ex-lover hid his arms when he held sway as kidnap generalissimo and terrorised Abia State and Aba in particular. Osisikankwu, his girlfriend, Ogochi, alongside two others, Polycarp and Chinedu were arrested by soldiers of Operation Jubilee, the special task force in Abia from the 82 Division of the Nigerian Army, Enugu, on December 12 at an evil forest near the Obokwe market in Ukwa West Local Government Area. Osisikankwu and the other two male comrades-in-arms were shot dead in a crossfire with soldiers while Ogochi was taken into custody. During interrogation, the bandit’s girlfriend said to be three months pregnant, revealed to soldiers the exact locations in Ugwuati and other evil forests where her ex-boyfriend hid thousands of arms and ammunition with which they terrorised Abia and neighbouring states. Consequent upon the revelation, according to a release by the Assistant Director, Public Relations of the 82 Div. of the Nigerian Army, Enugu, Lt. Col. Sagir Musa, the Division’s GOC, Maj-Gen. Sarki Yaki Bello on Wednesday last week led a cordon and search operation into the evil forests. The mop up of arms operation recorded huge success as the army recovered the following new arms from the mentioned areas: 48 empty magazine of AK 47; 3,848 rounds of 7.62mm special ammunition; 538 rounds of 7.62 mm Nato; 41 expended cases of 7.62mm special ammunition; some quantity of dynamite and 3 RPG prima. Addressing the soldiers after the new discoveries, Maj-Gen Bello directed them to be more vigilant and re-double efforts to arrest fleeing kidnap kingpins and to comb the evil forests of Obokwe, Ogwe and Ugwuati where it is believed thousands of arms and ammunition are still hidden. He reiterated his call on fleeing kidnap kingpins to give themselves up as there was no hiding place for them, stressing that officers and men of the task force would leave no stone unturned in apprehending them. While thanking locals for volunteering information that have aided the army in its operations, he, however, called for more information which would help in tracking the runaway kidnap leaders. |
Manchester United is delighted to announce it has reached agreement with Aalesunds FK to sign Danish international goalkeeper Anders Lindegaard on a 3½ year deal for an undisclosed fee. Personal terms have been agreed with the player, who passed a medical in Manchester. Anders will train with United during December, but will be ineligible to play until the transfer window opens in January 2011. Sir Alex Ferguson said: “Anders is one of the brightest young keepers in the game. The challenge at Manchester United is always to look to the future and in Anders, we have signed a goalkeeper of great presence and even more promise. Having the time to train with him before he is registered will be an important period for him – almost like a pre season to get him integrated with the other players.” Anders Lindegaard said: “Joining Manchester United is a dream come true for me. The Club is such an institution in Denmark, it’s an honour to come here. I’m looking forward to playing and training alongside some of the great players in football today. I can’t wait to be part of this team and to make my contribution to keeping the team at the top of the game.” |
