most nigerians are yet to know how this super eagles ''thing''works.they always play cool with small teams but go gangster against a big team.like they did in afcon 2013 beating cote d'ivoire by 2 goals and mali by i think 3. I'd ve been more worried, had the game end with 3 or 4 goals to nil against the tanzanian team. |

giles14: wot a funny comment.
so because d ND is not 100% water dey should den deploy heavy vehicles. a mrap for dat
just hope d army is not on a mission of ethnic cleansing.
cos dis conflict is for d Navy and maybe d army and air force special forces. kikiki.what is heavy about the mraps or the tank??.don't be ridiculous man.if u've been to the deltas you'd be saying a different thing. The navy would only have to patrol the fringes closer to the sea.and then the SBS,which are much, needed.NAF for bombings and air surveilance.but the rest of the action is for the army.the area needs to be well manned if we want quick results. D; D; D; ethnic what?? You need no heavy equipment to carryout ethnic cleansing.besides there are lots of niger deltans in the military.same thing people always say when the army decides to tackle a problem once and for all.reason we are where we are now with bokoharam.mtcheeew. Funny man D; D; D; |

d ND conflict is a for fast boats n maybe A29's. just leave the military to do their job.they know far better than you,how best to handle the situation.the level of treat determines the kind of equipment to be deployed.niger delta isn't 100%water u know.let us for once, trust the military.this is what they do best. |

Henry240: BANGLADESH LAUDS NIGERIAN MILITARY SUCCESS IN THE FIGHT AGAINST INSURGENCY
The Bangladesh Armed Forces have lauded the success of the Nigerian Military to overcome insurgency and expressed their willingness to adopt the Nigerian Armed Forces winning strategy to combat insurgency and criminalities in their country.
This was contained in the remarks by the team leader of the members of the Bangladesh National Defence College on Geo-strategic study tour of Nigeria that visited the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General Abayomi Gabriel Olonisakin at the Defence Headquarters, Abuja. The leader of the delegation, Rear Admiral Anwarul Islam, pointed out that the dramatic way in which the Nigerian Military routed the erstwhile deadly Boko Haram in the last one year was worthy of commendation. He noted that the Nigerian Armed Forces are well known for their contributions to peace support operations worldwide and have contributed tremendously to world and regional peace.
He observed that Bangladesh has a lot to learn from the Nigerian Armed Forces and lauded the CDS for his leadership direction. Admiral Islam applauded the Armed Forces for successfully degrading the Boko Haram Terrorists in the North East and tackling other criminalities in Nigeria. He solicited cordial military bilateral relations with the Nigerian Armed Forces.. they sure do have alot to learn from us,the good and the bad side of CTCOIN.(even the pakis). My best slogan in this war was/is #NEVER AGAIN..it marked the turning point for the military.2012-2013 was the bloodliest year in the timeline of insurgency/terrorism in this country.my worst moments were the falling of damboa, gwoza and bama.reading beegeagles blog, the words that frightened me the most were,....#BATTLE CURRENTLY UNGOING.#LOOKS LIKE the BHT are WINNING#. The worst came ''DAMBOA,GWOZA,BAMA.has FALLING. chaiiii.painful old days.but thank GOD the reverse is the case now,Godspeed and a big kudos to the NIGERIAN ARMED FORCES.we shall be great again.#NEVER AGAIN. |

SergeAlain: Its dehumanising gruesome punishment like this that turns our soldiers into animals when they come into contact with the outside world. This does not necessarily make them better soldiers, just makes them angry at the world.
This is why a female soldier would assault a civilian man for daring to complement her smartness, or why another soldier recently beat up an FRSC man and virtually blinded him for attempting to beg on behalf of a civilian.
We must evolve a modern military, enough of these practices from 18th century Britain!!! wouldn't agree more or less with you on this matter.the military(esp the army) has been given toomuch liberty to treat civilians in the most brutal way anyone could think of. But you and i know that the only institution people still have respect for in this country is the military.so i'll say they should be a little tolerant of the common man,but not completly. No army personel will ever tell u all they pass through in the jungle.''when u get there'' is usually what u'll hear. besides this is just one of the easiest punishment they give for misconduct. |
