1:A workaholicwhen your hubby is a workaholic, well you might need to worry less about him flirting with other girls.since he will usually get tired after work, all that will come to his mind would be REST. But wiffy might also be affected negatively. 2:SOLDIER This we have in four(4) categories: A:Soldier dad(GENERAL):if the wifes dad is a soldier, hubby naturally would behave.i mean, who wants to anger a general. However, some ''RICH''dude might not respect the soldier if he isn't an officer of higher rank. B:Soldier wife:some might still cheat on her with the other girl, but God help hubby if she finds out.worse if He reports to her supperiors when she REACTS cruelly,if he does, her juniors will be the ones to ''HANDLE''him. C:soldier hubby:he might cheat on her when he is in a faraway land.e.g battle. But when they are together,he will act as if he hates other girls. Because if wife should report the matter in HIS office, there is just one word to discribe his fate...''finished''.his supperiors won't take it likely with him, demotion is sure or dismissal from the service.(i have a first hand experience....of a military couple..husband was always a good man to his wife, because she knows his office more than him)lol. D:soldier brothes.(whatever you say,is right). 3:Watching his wife give birth.most hubbys won't be able to bear, seeing their wives give birth, normally or through CS.his heart would naturally melt. 4:Pastor or imam parent in law:we all know nigerians are 'very' religious people.if wifes parents are pastors or imams of good and GODLy reputation, then her husband will be carefull around other women. |

GossipHeart: Nigerians are so stupid
You lawyers,Doctors, Teachers, pharmacist, Nurses, Pilots, President smokes weed, Trust me They think that smoking marijuana is bad to your health.
Many states in the USA legalized marijuana, if there are any health affecting components in weed, they wouldn't even think of legalizing marijuana. Now, ask people the chemical in weed, 90% of them don't even know it
THC is the chemical in weed, now go check what THC is.
The USA will spend billions of dollars in studying and experimenting the health implications on any item they wanna pass to the public, they did that on weed and they found nothing, that's why USA, the home of scientists and the best country in the world legalized weed.
Do you know what is in the alcohol you drink ??No Alcohol is the most dangerous thing on earth yet some of you fools that thinks smokers are liable to die young do drink alcohol
Now ask your foolish self, why do doctors prescribe marijuana for cancer, asthma, anxiety, ocd, epileptic seizure patients ??
Ignorant Nigerians keep shut,if u've got nothing meaningful to contribute to humanity.Guys are out there thinking of ways to better the lifes of humans,u're here on nairaland telling us how much of a WEED smoker u're,encouraging people to do same.i'm not suprised they legalized mariguana in america, that's what u get when a nation is morally corrupt. Hope you wouldn't mind telling us how america is the best country in the world. If God wanted humans to smoke,he would have sunk a hole on their head down to mouth.or just put a pipe in there. |

Henry240: Nigerian White Paper on Defence Policy Now With Defense Minister
September 8, 2016 91
The Chairman, White Paper Drafting Committee on the revised Nigerian National Defence Policy (NNDP) 2015, retired Lt. Gen. Isaac Obiakor, yesterday [September 6] in Abuja handed over the draft White Paper to the Minister of Defence, retired Brig. Gen. Mansur Dan-Ali. Obiakor, who led members of the committee to the ceremony, said the committee was asked to make recommendations to government on strategies for implementing the revised defence policy, among other terms of reference. He said the document submitted by the committee recommended that the NNDP should be applied to deal with contemporary security challenges and production of national defence needs and development. He added that for the policy to be realizable, there should be a change in the mental attitude towards implementation of national policies.
In his remarks, the Minister of Defence, Mansur Dan-Ali, said emerging threats to defence and sovereignty of nations required the NNDP to be reviewed periodically to address new developments and challenges. He said government was committed to restructuring and building the capacity of the armed forces to meet emerging and contemporary security challenges.
Dan-Ali said the ministry was also undertaking the restructuring of the armed forces to reflect the current security challenges. He said the restructuring would be based on building the capacities of the senior staff, especially those in directorship cadre. He added that the staff would be required to undertake military capacity building courses to enhance their ability to handle the responsibilities of their respective offices.
As reported by Ronald Mutum for the Daily Trust Good..i hope we get to see,a review in weapons procurement.i don't really like the defensive rather than offensive nature of the military, buying weapons that're just ''good enough'' for the little internal conflicts here and there. BTW..this is the first time i'm hearing of ''defence policy review''. Oga henry, i must commend your effort at promoting the good image of our dearest country, well done. |

dyydxx: very very simple.I would give you two examples
(1) Lets go to Galatians 2: from verse 7 to the end to get the full context.
7 But contrariwise, when they saw that the gospel of the uncircumcision was committed unto me, as the gospel of the circumcision was unto Peter;
8 (For he that wrought effectually in Peter to the apostleship of the circumcision, the same was mighty in me toward the Gentiles
9 And when James, Cephas, and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace that was given unto me, they gave to me and Barnabas the right hands of fellowship; that we should go unto the heathen, and they unto the circumcision.
10 Only they would that we should remember the poor; the same which I also was forward to do.
11 But when Peter was come to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because he was to be blamed. 12 For before that certain came from James, he did eat with the Gentiles: but when they were come, he withdrew and separated himself, fearing them which were of the circumcision.
13 And the other Jews dissembled likewise with him; insomuch that Barnabas also was carried away with their dissimulation.
14 But when I saw that they walked not uprightly according to the truth of the gospel, I said unto Peter before them all, If thou, being a Jew, livest after the manner of Gentiles, and not as do the Jews, why compellest thou the Gentiles to live as do the Jews?
15 We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles,
16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
17 But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid.
18 For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor.
19 For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God.
20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.(KJV)
Verse 11 and 14 clearly states that Paul withstood peter and corrected him in the presence of all because he felt that Peter didn't walk uprightly according to the truth of the gospel as regards that matter. This is a whole Apostle Peter, the Apostle of God ordained to the Jews with the anointing of God to minister in that regard. Why didn't God strike Paul dead or curse Paul like miriam or whoever you folks use to justify your lack of criticism of MOGs. infact another version says that Paul was appalled by Peter's hypocrisy, can you imagine a whole Peter being called a hypocrite publicy yet God didn't thunder strike Paul. he lived a long life and when he was ready to die he said he has fought a good fight. and you know what, later Peter acknowledge Paul and the two of them were best friends later on in ministry.
2. The bible clearly states in 1 Timothy Chapter 3, the requirements to be a bishop or leader or overseer of the flock of God.
Qualifications of Bishops 1 This is a true saying, If a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work. 2 A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behavior, given to hospitality, apt to teach; 3 not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous; 4 one that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity; 5 (for if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?) 6 not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil. 7 Moreover he must have a good report of them which are without; lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil.
Verses 2,4 and 5 clearly state that the bishop must be a husband of one wife and must be able to rule his own household well. Now these are men that are divorced or have problems ruling their households and the bible clearly states that if they can't do this how would they rule over the entire church? How can they be teaching you marriage seminar or how to have a happy marriage when their are in shambles How does that work?
My brother those are examples of what the bible refers to when it says Judge not according to appearance but Judge righteous judgement. Judging righteous judgement is Judging with the word well done brother,i wouldn't be telling anyone not to criticise men of God if it weren't dangerous.others might get away it,but we all don't have same destiny. Pauls ministry was mainly to the gentiles as peter's was to the jews.paul had reasons rebuke peter, because 1:he was also a minister(in verse 8 of the same galatians 2.we can see that paul wasn't a member but a fellow minister.he evn listed his qualifications.lol. 2:against his ministry,if he hadn't rebuked peter his ministry would be affected negatively. any pastor who engages lmmorality, fraud or any other sin,has already been judged by God word. But romans 8:33 says''who shall lay anything to d charge of Gods elect? It is God that justifieth. If you donLt agree with his ways, reject it don't let it be an occation to gossip.meanwhile, try andmeditate on the scriptures.it helped me on this matter. |

Christianity Etc › Re: Chris Oyakhilome To Host Benny Hinn In Lagos. October 27 - 29 by pacretus(m): 10:00pm On Sep 05, 2016 |
dyydxx: righteous judgement is judging according to the word. nobody is immune from scrutiny of the word. Paul says that if anyone brings another gospel from what we know to be the word, let the person be accursed. I repeat nobody is immune from scrutiny by the word. this idea that somehow criticizing a MOG is somehow anathema is the real problem. My position is any criticism has to be in line with the word and that's the beginning and the end of the matter. since we're into scriptures here, where in the the bible did christians speak against their heads.or where was it advised.i already gave my reason backed by numbers 12:1-10 why it's not Godly to speak against a man of God. If you have a problem with the doctring of a church and you know the spirit of God in you doesn't agree with the doctine either,MOVE to another. But don't go about criticising the church. Why do you think in the book of john8:7 jesus told the jews who came to him accusing a widow of adultery,''he that is without sin among you,let him first cast a stone at her''? because they themselves had their own faults which they ignored.this reminds me of the passage matthew7:1 which say''judge not that ye may not be judged'' and went further in the preceding verses(3-5)to show how hypocritical, humans could be,swift to penalize an offender, when they're guilty of worse sins. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Chris Oyakhilome To Host Benny Hinn In Lagos. October 27 - 29 by pacretus(m): 8:41pm On Sep 05, 2016 |
dyydxx: was the same God not angry with Moses too for striking the rock with a rod instead of speaking to it, or when the whole congregation of the children of Israel murmur against God himself did God kill all of them abegi you guys that have been brainwashed should stop selecting the word of God. The truth is no preacher is above scrutiny by the word of God. The word of God is the ultimate arbiter and a man of God can be challenged according to the word. That's why the same bible says to 'Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment'John 7:24 KJV and 'But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one' 1 Cor 2: 15-16 KJV
so please let us hear word. If it's like that and God strikes people dead for criticizing men Of God only the strong believers are supposed to be alive by now, all the rest should have perished. That is to show you that God doesn't operate by slavery methods invented by the so called men of God to keep you deluded church goers in awe of them and scared to say the truth. what exactly do you understand by that bold passage?? When you criticize a man of God fo acquiring lands, houses or jets or for building an edifice for people to worship God,how is that a ''righteous judgement'' forgeting what christ promised his followers, not just pastors,in matthew 19:27.. Mind you, no reasonable person would spend time criticising others.shalom. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Chris Oyakhilome To Host Benny Hinn In Lagos. October 27 - 29 by pacretus(m): 7:28pm On Sep 05, 2016 |
Seun: Is there any verse in the Bible that says we must not criticise preachers? The "touch not my annointed" verse they often use has nothing to do with that. Yes brothe numbers 12:1-10 it tells how God became angry with miriam and Aaron for speaking against Moses who married an Ethiopian woman.which was in everyway against the the laws of God.and as punishment miriam became leprous..but Aaron was spared because he held a very sensitive position as the high priest.but that the stop the punishment he would recieve for speaking against the man of God,Moses. |
