You are the one not getting it here man. Her hijab is part of her religious identity. Not sure I know of such, I only know that certain Muslim schools make it obligatory for students and not non-muslim visitors.

That means you know nothing about your religion even the elites that brought the religion to you most of their children don't wear the Hijab or carry it on their head Like you people. Na Una dey decieve Una self.

If that is the case, then I don't think CU has any business hosting a national exam or better still ask Jamb to only recommend Christian students to their center. Exam centers should be accessible to everyone regardless of their religious beliefs.

You're the one getting it twisted, nobody tells her to change her religion... Don't wear the Hijab inside there finish... If not leave. Same with Muslim Institutions that says grls must wear Hijab to access their facilities.

In my University in the UK, the main lunch room was owned by the school and they employed cooks that made and served food. Students could buy vouchers weekly or for the semester for breakfast/lunch, which was cheaper than tapping your card. All proceeds went to the school, it wasnt private.
There was also a starbucks coffee shop at the top floor of the school shop. That was private.

Oga the food was it subsidized or not, some of you just make comments anyhow. They have been serving canteens in most higher institutions in Nigeria in the 60s with meal ticket given to students to eat, how is it the same with opening a bakery. Use your brain next time before quoting me

All campuses make money outside their primary assignment of higher education.

LASUs counterparts outside the country have exclusive campus cafes that sell snacks and coffee and cooked food daily.

They also have their shops that sell University merchandise to students such as mugs, sweatshirts, pens and books.

With all that, they still charge their students at least $10,000 for the cheapest course.
[/quoyou are showing us where they sell academic stuff, Cafe there is privately owned, not by the school. We know those schools abroad are renowned for research, if Lasu and other Nigerian schools had been big on research will they be celebrating bread. Instead of breakthrough in STEM. Why should any institution invest in bakery sef. If them celebrate New library or books shop e make sense. What do they want SMEs around them to survive on abi Lasu dey lack 🍞??

All of you saying British must have forgotten that atleast present day British lands belong to the British.

Present day USA was previously occupied by the red indians. The Europeans (mostly British) migrated, conquered and stole all the lands (so vast bro) along with the resources.

NB: Present day American recognized as Americans and not British

Who stole america from the red Indians... It's still the British. Now they are called America. After which the Queen still collects taxes from them the British that went to America decided to fight a civil war to stop the taxes paid to her

Only Nigeria we go see this kind thing... It should HV been on a low key.

This has deeper meaning that the institution management is only out to create revenue for the institutions, away from its primary assignment of higher education.

Yes it's a church... It's called Canaan land. CU is just inside. Its a prayer ground and you know how sacrosanct Muslim prayer grounds are. You don't just walk in there dressed anyhow.

I believe it was not today they told her to that her mock center is CU. she should have known and changed it. Or prepare to remove her Hijab.

Wetin dey pain me be say not everyone behaves like her. There are other Muslim students there that HV taken off their Hijab o. Na only BokoHaram dey behave like this.

Let's leave all this sentiments and face real problems. Write Jamb and seek for reschedule of your exam.

If this exam was set in a mosque, would they allow a student to enter without Hijab??

You're speaking from a neutral pov but refused to touch the Koko of the matter...

Should I start dropping screenshot of GRV anti Yoruba comments? Igbo even have the gut to call Yorubaland no man's land, this is just the beginning for them.. sad

This thing didn't start with governorship o, it started with presidency when it was perceived that Ignos will vote for Obi and the attacks began. It got heavy when APC lost Lagos.

GRV is a lagosian and him insulting Yoruba had nothing to do with the Igbos. He was pointing and calling out his tribesmen for their hypocrisy. That's just his crime. The next thing you people change his tribe to Igbo.

If u want to talk about collaboration then speak to Ur Ibo people to always lower their voices when necessary, then they should stop seeing themselves as bn superior to others, and finally they should stop calling another man's land a no man's land.

I will give one thing to the Igbos they are survivers... If you read history, the faught a civil war and lost, everything taken away from them. They came back and rebuilt and made so much progress even in foreign lands.

The part of Lagos being called no man's land is wrong and was in response to being told that they are not welcomed in Lagos.

But you don't have to be worried about Igbos, them get fine girls wey Yoruba guys like. Nigeria is diverse and anything otherwise will be boring

Are u here to discuss or u re looking for who to strike with Ur venom??

I don't know u and u don't know me, u re not Igbo but u put Igbo mater for head pass ojukwu himself

You don't understand anything beyond your region... What is Igbo matter in APC and LP election we are discussing. To you APC is Yoruba and LP is Igbo.

Just try to think for yourself for once, forget the noise and the political propagandas. What wrong has other region done to you.

Even true lagosians understands the ingenuity that diversity has brought to Lagos. Other tribes live amongst you they pay rents to you and your government who in turn use the money to develop the state, what is the crime of other regions in Lagos??

Guys we as a country can't be involved in petty squabbles. They tell you that Igbos want to take over Lagos. You should ask yourself is that even possible??

Let's talk about collaboration instead of these squabbles. It has not made you any money or is APC or LP paying you??
