Lightning strikes woman dead and leaves her daughter with burns all over her body in Lagos.

A little girl was rushed to the hospital by Good Samaritans after lightning struck her, leaving her with severe burns.

The child's mother was also struck by lightning but she didn't survive it.

The girl, named Bokuwatife, is just 3 years old. She's responding to treatment, one of the Good Samaritans said as she shared an update.

According to his manager, Umenka Uzoma Day revealed that he was seriously ill and is presently at a medical facility in London. "Majek Fashek is very sick as we are currently at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Woolich in England.

Bishop Oyedepo Reacts To Reopening Of Worship Centres, Says God Will ‘Humiliate’ Pandemic

The presiding Bishop of the Living Faith Church Worldwide, Bishop David Oyedepo has reacted to the reopening of churches across the country, saying “we serve a prayer answering God.” The bishop has maintained that churches remained a solution centre to all human crises. “Twenty one states as at last night, if I’m correct, twenty one states of the nation are open to worship.

“The other ones have no choice; they should just know that they have no choice,” the cleric said at the Church’s Covenant Hour of Prayer on Saturday, covened virtually.

He added that God had already answered the prayers of the saints against the Coronavirus, and that the signs are showing globally.

“Yesterday, the American president, Donald Trump, declared places of worship open across the United States. “That is how God has been humiliating this noisome pestilence; watch out, very shortly,every part of the world would be totally free,” he said.

Bishop Oyedepo also predicted that the “fear of this noisome pestilence would be gone into oblivion.”

He prayed that “Nigeria is free from the torture and torment of the Coronavirus virus and the fear of it.” Recall that Nigeria’s Presidential Task Force on Covid-19, had warned against reopening of places of worship, adding that it would be very much around for some time, hence, the need to take precautionary measures.

The Edo state government has asked Mr Tony Kabaka Adun to pay it the sum of N18million as costs of logistics arising from the demolition of his hotel on February this year.Recall the Edo State Government on February 5, 2020 demolished a part of the hotel owned by Mr. Tony Adun, popularly known as Tony Kabaka at its location on on Akin Oladiyun Street, Off Ugbor Village Road, Beside Ugbor Primary School, Ugbor Village area, Benin City.Government bulldozers, tipper lorries, payloaders and Armed police officers moved to T. Latifah Hotel and Suites about noon that day to carry out the assignment.It was the sequel to the state government through the Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development, seven-day notice issued in October 2019, to Kabaka to remove the hotel on the ground that it was built on a piece of land belonging to a public primary school.

Obaseki had said no amount of blackmail would stop the state government from demolishing the hotel because it was built on government land and that there was no political undertone in the decision to demolish the hotel since he had warned in the past that his administration would not tolerate lawlessness.According to the governor, “Businesses cannot thrive when there is anarchy and complete disrespect for the law.

For us as a government whatever we need to do to ensure that there is law and order will be done.“If you have done the wrong thing and taken over property not yours, to build on government property is the wrong thing to do. If you go and build on the road, that is not the right thing to do. If government tolerates that then more people will become lawless.“Anybody who contravenes the law, no matter how highly placed you are in Edo State, you will be dealt with.”However, Kabaka, who condemned the state government’s action said the government decided to demolish his hotel because he was opposed to Governor Obaseki’s second term bid.

Nollywood actor, Kayode Odumosu, better known as Pa Kasumu, has been laid to rest.

The veteran actor, who suffered ill health for a while, died in Lagos on March 1, 2020.

The only and longest surviving indigenous Bank in Nigeria.

Chief M.A. Okupe died on November 1 1984 at the age of 86 years.
