Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho expects Leicester City to retain their Barclays Premier League status, and has paid tribute to 'phenomenal' Foxes midfielder Esteban Cambiasso ahead of the leaders' trip to the King Power Stadium on Wednesday.

Leicester were bottom of the table for 140 days but an impressive run of four consecutive victories has seen them climb out of the relegation zone.

Saturday's 1-0 win at bottom club Burnley lifted them to 17th, a point clear of danger, although they now face a Chelsea side 10 points clear at the top of the table.

Chelsea's 0-0 draw at Arsenal at the weekend means they cannot clinch a fourth Barclays Premier League crown on Wednesday, and Mourinho has assured his side will not be complacent ahead of Wednesday’s match.

"I think they are going to survive," Mourinho said. "I was surprised with their bad position because they're a good team with good players.

"I'm not surprised they are out of the relegation zone and I will not be surprised when they keep in the division. They are playing well and the results are coming.

"We are never complacent, we know that they are a good team and they are a difficult opponent."

At the heart of Leicester’s midfield is former Argentina international Cambiasso, who was an influential figure in the Inter Milan team that Mourinho won the UEFA Champions League, Serie A and Italian Cup treble with during the 2009/10 season.

"I won the treble with Cambiasso, he was fundamental to my golden team and he is one of the players that means a lot to me," Mourinho said.

"He is being phenomenal for them and I'm very happy for him.

"Next season, for sure, he will play for Leicester in the Premier League again."

Mourinho continues to have doubts over Diego Costa (hamstring) and Loic Remy (calf), although Oscar should be in contention after taking a blow to the head against Arsenal.

For Leicester, David Nugent (calf) and Jeffrey Schlupp (knock) remain doubtful.

Despite their superb form during April, when they won all four matches, manager Nigel Pearson knows there is still plenty of work ahead.

"It's been very satisfying to get four wins and it gives us a realistic chance," he said. "The only thing that matters is that we're out on the bottom three after 38 games. To do that we have to remain focused.

"There is still a lot of football to be played. Every game now has something riding on it. There's lots left to do.

"We want to try to win this next game. It will be hard against Chelsea, but there's no reason not to look at it positively.

"Chelsea will be strong on Wednesday. We expect them to be at their best and we have to be at our best. Throughout the season our fans have remained positive, but in the last few games in particular, they have inspired us."

I see a lot of ’’fans’’ supporting their club because they win trophy, but im not one of those fans, I’m a fan of Arsenal because I love them, I don’t know why my heart is focused to support that team, they’re not the best team ever , maybe they will never be the best team in the world, they don’t win much titles but you know that feeling that you have inside you that makes you love something even more even if that is not the perfect thing , well I know that feeling , because being a Gunner is not easy, but it’s even harder to not love this Team , since I saw this team for the first time I knew that I’ll be a fan of them and now I’m transformed into a Gunner. I support Arsenal with everything in me, when they lose it really hurts but that doesn’t mean that I will not support them anymore, they have made me like you know a big Gunner everytime that I see them crying my heart just breaks , they try to make us proud and we try to let them know that they are not alone, that we are with them every day, every minute and every hour! We will always love & support them, so if you’re once a Gunner you will not love any other team anymore , Once A Gunner Always A Gunner . Many players will come and go but I will always be there supporting them everyday and more .It’s not easy to be an Arsenal supporter, but It’s worth all the tears and smiles that they give to us!

UP GUNNERS

A child actor who starred in US sitcom
Everybody Loves Raymond has killed
himself at the age of 19.
Sawyer Sweeten, who played Geoffrey
Barone, started acting in the popular show
at just 16 months old and continued until it
ended its nine-year run in 2005.
He played the twin son of main characters
Raymond and Debra Barone, alongside his
real-life brother Sullivan Sweeten, who
played Michael, and their sister, Madylin
Sweeten, who played Ally.

set over...
Mr Sweeten is believed to have shot himself
while visiting relatives in Texas on
Thursday.
His family confirmed the news in a
statement, calling it a "terrible family
tragedy".
"We are devastated to report that our
beloved brother, son, and friend, Sawyer
Sweeten, took his own life," the statement
said.
"He was weeks away from his 20th
birthday.
"At this sensitive time, our family requests
privacy and we beg of you to reach out to
the ones you love.”
The news sparked an outpouring of grief
from the show’s fans and co-stars.
Mr Sweeten appeared in 139 episodes of
the hit US sitcom and also took small parts
in television shows Even Stevens and Frank
McKlusky C.I alongside his brother in the
early 2000s.
According to the IMDb database, he had not
taken any more acting roles after Everybody
Loves Raymond ended.
Writing on Facebook after her younger
brother’s death, Ms Sweeten said: “At this
time I would like to encourage everyone to
reach out to the ones you love.
“Let them have no doubt of what they
mean to you.”
Co-star Doris Roberts, who played Mr
Sweeten’s grandmother on the show, said
she heard news of his death with “great
sadness”.
“He was a very sweet young man who will
be dearly missed,” she wrote. “Make sure
your loved ones know how much you care
about them, and please check in with them
if you haven't touched base with them for a
while. It's very important to keep in touch.”
Patricia Heaton, who played his on-screen
mother, called him a “funny and
exceptionally bright young man,” adding:

Spy360:
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmn? What if you never gave the young ones a chance? What if Le Coq and Bellerin were never given a chance? Being a manager is not only about buying stars simply to win a trophy, it is also about letting the young ones have an opportunity to attempt greatness. The latter I see as a more worthy achievement.
Knowing that Chelsea's under 18s and 21s won their respective FA youth cups, I wonder why none of them have the hope of ever lining up for Mourinho? That's is why I respect Wenger and judge him to be the best Manager in Europe. His footprints are written all over the world.

Quite, but there were a undoing which was financial had it been there was money to sign some players and pay their wages, Arsenal might have been better than they are now.

taiocol:
last season Bayern Munich already won there league when der were given five alive by Madrid

right that was due to defensive errors which juve wont be making as they have the best defensive line

Eruditor:
They are not as good as they were last season when they won the UCL but they are still better than Juventus who got outplayed by Monaco in the second leg of their quarter final game.

If by some chance Juventus frustrate Real over both games and play penalties that would be a possible way for them to make it through.

I wanted Juventus...

juve are weaker at penalties, except if Madrid are gonaa be also weaker and buffon magical.

AirborneLacer:
Hehehe

The fixture isn't even getting enough healthy build-up. Every living soul believes we're already champ.

The sunday game was supposed to be a six-pointer, but look what we have, 10pts ahead of the nearest modaphucker.

Yet we have some over-optimistic Assnal fans that blive they could spring a surprise and win the league title

Bayern Vs Barcelona
Madrid vs Juventus

Europa
Napoli vs Dnipro
Sevilla vs Fiorentina

Arabambi1:
I seriously doubt that! JUve beating Madrid.?
Madrid is an attacking team and Juve is a typical Italian team (defensive)

As for Pep, it is time for him to face the monster he created - Mesis

that y i have barca as my favourite, but still juve could still spring a surprise they are very good at counters

i believe Juve can do it. But i have Barcelona as my favourite

Former Barcelona
coach Pep Guardiola
makes his return to the
Camp Nou with Bayern
Munich on Wednesday
targeting a repeat of
the sides' Champions League semi-final of
2013.
The Bavarians cruised to a dominant 7-0
aggregate success two years ago under
Guardiola's predecessor, Jupp Heynckes,
before going on to complete a famous
treble.
For Guardiola, Bayern can only lift two titles
this term and to do so they will need to
arrest stuttering form against a Barca side
full of confidence.
While Guardiola's men were dumped out of
the DFB-Pokal semi-finals by Borussia
Dortmund before losing 2-0 to Bayer
Leverkusen, Barca put eight past Cordoba to
keep their treble hopes on course.
Javi Martinez made his long-awaited return
from a knee injury at the BayArena and is
focused on helping shackle Barca's free-
scoring front trio of Lionel Messi, Neymar
and Luis Suarez.
"The knee is good. Leverkusen was a good
test for me and now I'm ready to help my
team in the next game," he told reporters
ahead of Wednesday's first leg.
"Whether I play or not depends on the
coach. Stopping Messi, Neymar and Suarez
will be very difficult.
"But we are not afraid. If we want to win,
we can't allow ourselves to be afraid. We
have a big heart and we have a big goal."
Robert Lewandowski is set to feature with a
mask after sustaining multiple injuries
against former club Dortmund although
Franck Ribery (ankle) remains doubtful.
Guardiola's former Barca team-mate Luis
Enrique has one worry - having seen Jordi
Aba train alone on Monday - as he seeks to
ensure the four-time winners reach their
eighth final.
The pair both coached at Barca B after their
playing careers ended with Luis Enrique
making a strong start in his bid to emulate
Guardiola's 14-trophy at the Camp Nou helm.
Victory on Tuesday would set Barca on
course for their first Champions League final
appearance since 2011 and the Liga leaders
could hardly be in better form.
Winning 15 of their last 16 games in all
competitions and with Messi taking his tally
for the season to 40 at the weekend, Barca
president Josep Maria Bartomeu played
down the importance Guardiola's return.
"There's no favourite. It's an open tie
against a great team that has a coach who
knows us very well," Bartomeu told Hat Trick
Barca.
"It is necessary to honour Pep and I believe
it has to be spontaneous. We won't
organise anything. There'll be no video or
anything.
"He comes with all the honours but also to
win. After the game we can salute him.
"I believe the relationship between
Guardiola and the board ended well. The
doors of Barca are open when he wants to
come back. I think he will one day."http://m.goal.com/x/en-ng/news/11427382
