wise words for scummies https://twitter.com/Ivvanoh/status/1190644760886861824?s=20 |
larride:Shame no catch you. Getting sodomized by the bournemouths of this world and having to travel to the cold distant corners of medieval europe on thursdays to play a slow boring match with heaven knows which club. shameless scummy. |
Some scummies in my place telling me they are coming for top four. Lol catch it if you can bozos |
Losing to you sorry scummies twice has to be the most obvious dent in Lampard young career. Trolling you leaves a bad taste in the mouth but men gass party anyway sha. Dj start mixing. |
Segedinho:I swear it almost like playing PES with a novice only difference is that the better guy usually wins. |
Game day |
MATCH REPORT Midfielders Ross Barkley and N'Golo Kante have not travelled for the match in Amsterdam. Barkley suffered an ankle injury in Saturday's Premier League win over Newcastle while Kante sustained a groin injury while on international duty. Andreas Christensen and fellow centre-back Antonio Rudiger are also out. "Ross will hopefully be fit to train by Thursday," said Lampard. "Rudiger trained with us but will be out of contention for the weekend." Chelsea will assess Kante's injury again before their Premier League trip to Burnley on Saturday (17:30 BST). Rudiger featured in the squad's last session before leaving for Amsterdam on Tuesday as the Germany defender continues his recovery from a groin problem that has restricted him to just 45 minutes this season. Christensen is expected to be out for around two weeks after the defender sustained a hamstring injury playing for Denmark. Chelsea lost 1-0 at home to Valencia in their opening group game but then won at Lille to go into Wednesday's game three points behind Ajax, who made a surprise run to last season's semi-finals. Best of the stats Ajax and Chelsea have not previously met in European competition, with the Blues the ninth different English team Ajax have faced in European competition. Chelsea are unbeaten in four previous European games with Dutch sides (W2 D2 L0), winning twice against Feyenoord in the 1999-00 Champions League and drawing 0-0 in two knockout games against AFC DWS in the 1968-69 Fairs Cup but went out after losing a coin toss. Ajax have not won three consecutive Champions League matches since November 2005, beating Thun twice and Sparta Prague under manager Danny Blind. Since losing 3-0 at Barcelona in March 2018, Chelsea have lost none of their eight away European matches (W6 D2 L0) - their longest unbeaten away run in Europe. Promes is looking to become the first player to score in his first three Champions League appearances for Ajax, having netted against Lille and Valencia this campaign. Against Lille, Tammy Abraham became Chelsea's first English scorer in the Champions League since Gary Cahill in November 2015; only three Englishmen have done so in consecutive games for the club - Frank Lampard (five times), John Terry (three times) and Dennis Wise (twice). https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/49874429 |
Lol United. Looking back at the optimism during the first games Ole took charge of last season and the first game this season and now the level of wailing and gnashing of teeth. It safe to say this club is comatose and I think relegation to the championship and two seasons in mid table would help to resettle the club and get rid of cankerworms like Rashidi and lingardinho. UP YOONITED. |
There ends the career of Barkley at Chelsea. WTF. He fought over penalty only to lose it. Why didn't Jorginho take it? |
3-2 in favour of Chelsea. There would be a lot of counter goals. |
Hat trick. |
HewlettPackard:I am telling you. At the rate he is going he will surpass the 20 goals mark. |
Abraham Abraham. This boy be shutting up critics. |
That Tomori goal Mehn. |
Unlimited22:As in field trips to the far corners of the world as befit the devils which they are. At least the names of the clubs they are playing is pronounceable that is a positive. |
Frank Lampard believes Chelsea can flourish in the Champions League but is not yet looking any further than reaching the knockout stages. The Blues host Valencia in their Group H opener on Tuesday. Lampard's faith in youth is appearing to pay off in the Premier League after his side thumped Wolves 5-2 on Saturday, but he knows European football is a different challenge. "I'm confident but very aware of the dangers," he said. "Our target is to qualify from a tough group. It is different [from league football]; the main thing is that the concentration levels throughout the game have to be spot on. The different level can surprise you. "I have belief in the players. I think we have talent that can blossom in the Champions League. Lampard's pre-match news conference in full Lampard won the Champions League as a player in 2012 and the former midfielder is looking forward to making his debut in the competition as a manager. "I had some incredible nights in the Champions League, and some bad ones," he added. "It's the ultimate in club football. There is something about Stamford Bridge, Champions League football and that music. Rudiger misses out for Chelsea The Blues will be without defender Antonio Rudiger after he tweaked his groin during Saturday's win at Wolves - his first appearance of the season. Midfielder N'Golo Kante and Callum Hudson-Odoi are "fit, but not match fit", according to Lampard, and so will not feature against the La Liga side. Valencia will be led by Albert Celades, who was appointed last week after the surprise sacking of Marcelino. Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga is wary the change in management could make the Spanish side more of a threat. "I think Valencia will always be a dangerous team," he said. "At times, these circumstances can make you a more dangerous proposition." BBC FOOTBALL |
airmark:This made me laugh so much. Let go and lose. |
mayorsticks:Good morning. Do you have an idea of how Many of this would give 3kg of the powder. |
nihilistjnr:I stand to be corrected but I believe when Aguero joined City they were third best behind United and Chelsea and had not won the title in like 50yrs that is not so different from Tottenham position now yet he won two premier leagues and finished as top scorer all before Guardiola. In terms of Injury Aguero has suffered more 5 out of 8 seasons in EPL he has missed 7 or more games, the season Kane won his first Golden boot Aguero missed 8games yet still finished just one goal behind, last season the same case 5 games missed yet one goal behind. In spite of Injury Aguero has been a top performer and would have gotten the PFA. It just hit me that Kane himself has never won the PFA so maybe we should just agree to disagree. |
airmark:Well I can't speak for him but he said poor 'lone' striker so he might be not implying he was a useless player. |
nihilistjnr:Kane has won just two. One more than Aguero. I am not saying he was cheated at anytime but that for Injury he would have won one or two himself. Kane himself as you pointed out is a victim. I believe he would have won last season Golden boot if he wasn't injured towards the end. |
SkimpleD:Pastor Simple you are an anointed man you know better than I do. ![]() |
raumdeuter:dont mind Nihilist. Recurring Injury is the only excuse that can be used against Aguero. |
raumdeuter:He won 4 times. |
airmark:I am not because I just checked. if it is PFA voted by players then lamps never won it. But if it the one currently known as EA sports player of the season then he won it and FWA included. For example in 15/16 Mahrez won Pfa but Vardy won the one you are talking about. |
airmark:John Terry |
airmark:if it is PFA he means then Lamps never won it. But he won the FWA. |
Golazo Mehn |
fatigue and subs not exerting any influence on the game cost us points. Also if we are going to play this style it had to be with a three man midfield. It is so easy to split our center midfielders and drag them out of position. |
playing a 120 mins during the week is showing on the players and we are playing against a side that would continue to press till the last minute . |
finally mount |
God that two goals we should have gotten. |
