North Korea has fired two short-range ballistic missiles off its east coast, according to South Korea's military, the second such launch in a week.

The two missiles were launched from the Wonsan area early on Wednesday.

Last week's launch was the first such action since US President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un met in June.

The North called that launch a "solemn warning" to Seoul over its planned military exercises with Washington.

It has previously expressed anger that the annual drills will go ahead next month- an event it sees as preparation for war.

What happened on Wednesday?
The missiles were launched at 05:06 (20:06 GMT Tuesday) and 05:27 local time from the Kalma area near the port of Wonsan.

The missiles flew 250km (155 miles) and reached a height of 30km before landing in the Sea of Japan, also known as the East Sea, said South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS).

The South's defence minister Jeong Kyeong-doo said the missiles were identified as a different type from previous models.

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe confirmed that there was no impact on Japan's security following the launch.

1. A president should not insult his own country and spitefully refer to an ethnic group like that. This type of language should be left to supporters , it should not come from the mouth of a president himself.

2. The word ' infested ' is repugnant, disdainful and racist.

3. A president does not need to always get into a fight with everyone who disagrees with his policy.

4. Not seeing Ronald Reagan, Jimmy Carter, Nixon, Ford, George H.W Bush, George W. Bush, Bill Clinton,
Obama acting like that.

5. The main concern many Americans now have is this:
If a president who is seeking a second term is capable of acting like that toward his own people , imagine how he would act when he gets reelected .

The US director of national intelligence, Dan Coats, has become the latest high-profile figure to leave the Trump administration.

President Donald Trump tweeted Mr Coats would step down in mid-August and that he would nominate the Texan congressman John Ratcliffe to replace him.

He said Mr Ratcliffe would lead and "inspire greatness for the country" he loved.

Mr Coats and Mr Trump have often been at odds over Russia and North Korea.

In January the president called his intelligence chiefs passive and naive in their assessment of the threat posed by Iran.

A year ago, Mr Coats laughed in surprise when he heard that the US president was going to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin for a summit in Finland.

"That's going to be special," said an amused Mr Coats, when he was told the news at a public event.

He later apologised for his reaction, saying "my admittedly awkward response was in no way meant to be disrespectful or criticise the actions of the president".
