The phone was shipped from Hongkong thats why.
You can only get a speedaf phone if the sellers are based in china and such phones are usually Refurbished samsung and iPhones or those chinese version phones like Oppo, vivo etc

Not all phones from Beijing, etc are refurbished. Moreover, don't confuse yourself... There's a BIG difference between a refurbished phone and a cloned/fake phone.

Because it will still show device locked under find device settings for xiaomi phone..... So when you wipe the phone you get locked out totally again and you will need to go to the site you mentioned.

I have received this item since about two weeks now and the tracking still shows arrived a nipost . Nipost even charged me a delivery fee of 500 naira claiming the charge is cos I used speedaf. Should I dispute this package and get refunded so as to make AliExpress and sellers deter from using Nipost?

My one penny for all phone potential buyers...
It is confirmed that all phones ships to Nigeria through AESS are through Singapore post, which ends up with nipost. Singapore post since COVID as not been the same especially for Sending goods to this part of the world (there tracking system and logistics are abnormal), many people fall into the dread phrase of "object routed" this can take at the very best 1 month to 2 month to get to destination country. Then person enter another wahala with nipost. Nipost takes average of 1 month (at the very best) to send your package to Local PO. Unless you don't care of the time or the money spent... Don't buy phone from aliexpress for now, unless you have another alternative to ship your package. Thanks.
