All attempts to enforce "sit at home" should stop. Who is sponsoring Ekpa? He cannot be acting alone. There must be a money trail somewhere. |

What is the meaning of this? Flogging children for going to school? This is an assault on the education of children. This has got to stop. 1 Like 1 Share |
Crime / Re: We Have No Department Like Cyber Crime - EFCC Tells Nigerians by panpan(m): 8:21pm On Jul 05, 2023 |
The Supreme Court has held that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) does not have the powers to prosecute offenses that are not corruption cases and that the only corruption cases it can investigate are cases involving the movement of cash from Nigeria to foreign countries and corruption cases involving federal finances, being a creation of federal law. EFCC should not get involved in any supposed "cybercrime" case unless the allegation is about "illicit financial outflow from Nigeria", or "corruption cases involving federal finances". |

Politics / Re: ‘98.5% Of Wallets Unused’ — IMF Says eNaira Adoption Disappointingly Low by panpan(m): 7:19am On May 23, 2023 |
The International Monetary Fund (IMF) asked the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to introduce central bank digital currency (CBDC or enaira). Not surprisingly, the adoption was extremely low. The CBN then went on a cash confiscation project, probably to test the waters, to know whether they can use that as an excuse force enaira on the population. Fortunately, the cash confiscation project also failed. The IMF is not interested in Nigeria's development. The IMF's goal is to control the finances of the Nigerian population. |

Politics / Re: Constitution review: NASS okays Independent Candidacy, 50% waiver for women by panpan(m): 3:41pm On May 16, 2023 |
The conditions mentioned for independent candidacy are not practicable. 50% waiver of fees for women is discriminatory based on gender. There is supposed to be separation of powers in governance. Principal officers of the National Assembly (the legislative arm of government) should not be members of the National Security Council (an executive unit). 6 Likes |

The Supreme Court of Nigeria has ruled that Section 46 of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission Act should be construed within the narrow confines of the United Nations Convention Against Corruption, the precursor to the establishment of the EFCC - to prevent illicit financial outflow from Nigeria. EFCC should not arrest anybody unless the allegation is about "illicit financial outflow from Nigeria". 32 Likes 3 Shares |

Before April 2023, I was not even aware of the existence of a "World Malaria Day". The only reason why the "World Malaria Day" is being hyped at present is because of the desire of international groups to enforce malaria "vaccines". For now, we should stick to non-vaccine methods of prevention, as well as the currently available methods of treatment. |
Health / Re: 'Huge Biological Risk': Sudan Fighters Occupy WHO Lab Carrying Samples by panpan(m): 2:32pm On Apr 25, 2023 |
The World Health Organization (WHO) can no longer be trusted. This report by the WHO looks like a predetermined script. So, of all the places in Sudan for a fighting party to use as a military base, it is the central public health lab that was deemed to be convenient. It appears as if the WHO wants to release some health-related breaking news, and blame it on Sudan. And speaking of Sudan, it is sad that the concerned parties have allowed themselves to be used by foreign nations and international groups to destabilize their country. 1 Like |
