Deep Sight: Fair enough, but word of advise: be careful to keep a balanced and inquiring perspective with every idea that confronts you: apply same to religions, and apply same to sciences, and apply same to atheistic notions as well. For otherwise you may liberate yourself from religious dogmatism and find yourself locked in another form of absurd dogmatism. Believe in yourself, you have the faculties you need to figure out your existence and its meaning and purpose. Do not let any one else do your thinking for you. Most of all remember that the failures of religion have nothing to do with the question of whether a God exists and whether such a God has a purpose and meaning for your life. Finally remember that even if you think or conclude that such a God does not exist, you can still look within yourself and bestir your mind and conscience for simple answers to your issues and objectives in this life.Well said Bro. The bolded needs more than just a second thought. But if you tell me that the failure of religion has nothing to do with the question of whether God exist or not, it will only throw me into more confusion cos as much as I know, it is only within the religion circle that the concept of God is being discussed. Maybe I still need to know more about this. |
plaetton: More grease to your eldow,Thanks Boss. |
Even though I've never comment on any of the atheist thread, I must tell you that I've been following the post of; -Plaetton -Logicboy -AmanFromMars -Rationalmind -Others I may not remember to mention. And all I can say is that, you guys are amazing. I've learned a lot from you guys and still learning. Things of religion are the things I've been asking my self right from when I was a kid. I've asked a lot of questions about religion and God, yet no one was able to give me any convincing answer. The worst of it all, Just like what Plaetton mentioned in one of his post, is the idea that Christ died for our sins. well, I am yet to understand how that concerns me. Well, I don't want to draw any conclusion now before my Christian fellows begin to descend on me. For now, let me say, I hope to learn more from you guys. Thanks. |
Not bad for a start. |
@OP, While you continue to enjoy the 'Highness' that your HTC is given you. I just want to let you know that it also has its own glitches: see links below: http://myhtcproblems.com/ http://m.digitaltrends.com/mobile/htc-one-problems/ And even the S3 you are praising like your demigod; http://au.ibtimes.com/articles/523237/20131119/8-major-issues-android-4-3-samsung.htm The fact that you are unlucky with a tecno phone doesn't make it a bad phone. All gadgets have their limitations. |

xxxtedyxxx: I understand. If u want sth, go for it.Wow... I so much love this. God bless you Teddy. |
Hey Teddy, you're doing a great job, kudos to you. There's this girl I love so much within the neighbourhood, just 2 weeks ago, I summoned the courage to talk to her. I actually asked of her number but she declined, and I felt it was a red flag, and since then I never talked to her again. Even though we use to say hi if coincidentally we meet on the road. Just yesterday, about two of my friends told me that they saw her with another man, it was just like the end of the world to me cos I love this girl like mad. Please Teddy, what do I do to win her? . I love her so much. |
Well from the Look of things, even if you are to give this ASUU guys N2 trillion, am telling you they will do nothing order than to squander it. No be dem be lecturers wey dey teach us for school?, or are they from another planet?. |
Tithe! Tithe !!....... SMH.... |
if ASUU (our own intellectuals) believes that the only way to make FG honor their agreement is to continue with the strike (even at the detriment of our students), then we have a serious course to worry. |
ASUU want to reap where they do not sow. |
Fulani herdsmen under the aegis of Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore in Nasarawa State have given the Federal Government two weeks ultimatum to end the lingering strike by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU). They have threatened to stop the sales of beef in markets if the Federal Government fails to find a lasting solution to the strike. The group who gathered at the Miyetti Allah headquarters in Nasarawa expressed their disappointment over the poor handling of the issue relating to lecturers’ pay which has kept Nigerian students at home for months. Speaking on behalf of the herdsmen, the national president of the association, Alhaji Abdullahi Bodejo, faulted the attitude of the government towards education and urged President Goodluck Jonathan to re-negotiate with the aggrieved union, in order to find a lasting solution to the strike in the interest of students and the country. “If the federal government refuses to listen to the lecturers, we have no choice than to stop the supply of meat to markets and our women from selling milk (fura da nunu). “We have been making efforts to enlighten our people about education, but the government is not encouraging us at all,” he said. He further urged the union to consider the situation and return to class in the interests of Nigerian students. http://www.informationng.com/2013/11/ASUU-strike-fulani-herdsmen-threaten-fg-give-2-weeks-ultimatum.html |
shenkron: @ jdbabzy, I really respect you for the breakdwn you gave on the day you had your assessment. Words cannot express how grateful I am, unlike the Abuja peeps that locked up. The job is already ours.. My assessment is tomorrow by 1pm and I'll surely share my experience here. One love and success to everyone having their assessment todayHeyy Bro, stop jumping into this unreasonable conclusion. Just pray for your success and the success of others. |
upson013: Abuja candidates Will have their assessment by 7:30am @Bolingo Hotels and Towers, airport road, area 10 abuja. Lets meet there.I got the message just this afternoon. May God help us. |
Mine too has stopped working this morning . I'm in Abj. |
I've already applied for Msc, Water Pollution and Control, just waiting for my admission. ( I pray ASUU will call off soon). Just like I said, I have no regret studying Zoology. |
I am a zoologist and a proud one for that matter. Sincerely, when you mention the word zoology to a layman, they simply assume that it's all about keeping animals in the zoo, but it is far more than that. As a zoologist, you get to study Biodiversity, animal physiology and anatomy, parasitology, entomology, fisheries, hydrobiology and a host number of courses. |
Well, I am quitting being a slave to another man comes this December. Enough of this bullshitt. |
