There you have it. Life and its diverse phases. While some are gnashing their teeth in agony of an event some see a papa Ajasco's case off the event. I find it difficult to pin-point what pleasure people derive from being mischievous arousing needless tension that could trigger rain of curses on them. Now OAU is shut and what some people could do is make jokes of the re-opening of the school. What a life! I could remember the feelings that graced my heart when I first saw it only to read the last line that poised it to be a joke and I did nothing but sighed. Yea. That sigh has its meaning. The originator of the joke better pray for him(her)self. Betterstill, he should start making people happy or he continue to be cause of sighs from the expectants..... Seriously, I don't just like it. Yea, I'm taking it too personal- why not? The way people use social media nowadays is really disheartening. Well, God would reward everyone according to his deeds. That facebook, twitter, nairaland, etc account you have may be the string that ties your success in life. And the time you paint yourself black by leaving a heart rending or any related bad experience on another's memory you just have to know that you can't be happy as well. Not a curse but a fact. Whoever is not a source of happiness to others shouldn't expect a sting of good feeling.
I watch Juventus and arturo vidal is the solid backbone of the old ladies midfield; not Pogba! I was among those that screamed blue-murder when fergie let him leave old trafford, but watching him now, the guy is a liability!
Vidal is a 'beast'. Arguably the best midfielder in Serie A last season. |

A suggestion came in which in it has it that we involve some stalites to serve as repertoires for advice and other resources. In lieu of this, I suggest we have a number to be involved. How many? You decide. I go for a minimum of 10 and maximum of 10. PS: we have some that have been helping out right from the start of the OAU aspirants' thread e.g Olastep, Bintin laye, Ugopeter, Teaser4, etc. Oya o. And you guys are silent on the name issue. I think you also want the nairaland tag to be removed... I suggested a name (GreatIfe's Initiative ***I don remove nairaland o). What do you guys think? |

I've tried to eschew replying some posts here.. Wherever you find the progressives there are bound to exist-the regressives. A close look at the increment paints it outrageous and inhumane and as treacherous as slaying a dying man. How do we help these 'dying men'? The SU excos have really performed reasonably well to their capacity and the victory in thiss struggle lies in how long are we (OAU students) ready to hold on and stand-up for a positive end? The fact that some students have paid doesn't justify the stake that the fee is payable by all. Even if 3% are yet to pay we have to still reaffirm that injustice has no other name and it births nothing but outright misplace and displacement of the downtrodden. It's no news saying the struggle in OAU is a microcosm of what happens at the bigger sphere here in Nigeria and the resolve of the oppressed has more to say about what future awaits our dear nation. Whether the increment will stand or not remains the choice of the oppressed (OAU students). But how long are we determined to fight? Time will tell. "evil is not when the perpetrator did his thing but when the good heads opted to do nothing to save the situation".
