I would be posting the bills of the freshmen for the ongoing academic session i.e 2012/2013 according to the faculties as pasted on the eportal of the OAU offical school website.

I think the acceptance fee would remain unchanged at the rate of #20 000.

Going by the recent posts from Olastep and Dokdave I think May is now feasible if not precisely to be 18th. So, let's continue with the requirement and other payments' assumptions. i.e acceptance, hostel fee (accomodation) and school fee (though this varies according to the faculty or department).
As regards the things we need for registration, Don't they(OAU) have a copy of our UTME result? Why do we still need to get the original result?
I don't know sir. But you could have asked Jamb why they requested for your jamb registration slip prior to entering the examination hall despite having it with them.

maybe you print it just once or not at all. So you could do that at a better cafe.

deenAyetu: what do you mean by saying a thread is outdated? here is the link to ksu chat room, https://www.nairaland.com/1194431/kogi-state-university-student-chatroom.

below is the openning statement of our boss Emyo himself

The above openning speech was backed up by both the old and intending students with over 30 pages.

so tell us the need for this thread when the new students can simply visit https://www.nairaland.com/1194431/kogi-state-university-student-chatroom. to ask for informations and news about ksu.

Fynestboi did you see any truth in this post?
a chatroom is different from a normal aspirants thread I think. Like OAU thread now. There is a chatroom that remains constant and a thread separately meant for aspirants.

Wislet: PLS, THIS QUESTION IS POSED TO THE EMPLOYERS OF LABOUR IN THE HOUSE.

PLS, AS AN EMPLOYER, WHAT QUALITIES/FACTORS ARE IMPORTANT TO YOU IN EMPLOYING A GRADUATE FRESH FROM SCHOOL?

.course of study
.degree
.any other
.none of the above
.etc

Pls, I would like a sincere, straight from the heart reply from you guys because we would like to be informed.

HOW WOULD YOU ADVISE A GRADUATE TO GO ABOUT GETTING EMPLOYED?

WHAT COULD INFLUENCE YOU OFFERING EMPLOYMENT TO ONE AND PROBABLY OVERLOOKING ANOTHER WITH EVEN A 'BETTER/HIGHER' RESULT?

WHAT KNOWHOW/QUALITIES ARE MOST LIKELY TO GET A PERSON QUICKLY EMPLOYED?

Thank you very much as you reply.

promisechild: my bro what is the meaning of philosophy?

I guess u don't know the meaning and u are typing jagons that philosophy isn't a good course to study

Science and mathematics came to existence through philosophy

Philosophy is a course that broaden ones mind philosophers are natural enterprenuer

In the job prospect for a philosopher there is 92% job prospects for a philosopher in Nigeria.for instance there is no higher institution either coventional ones or non conventional ones that doesn't offer logic and philosophy as a course. who go teach them no be philosophers? that is there 96% job prospect for a philosopher in an educational sector ,a philosopher is also good at researching which is the main aim of philosophers they seek to find knowlege.

The likes of aristotle, socrates, charles darwin, plato including all those who invented one thing or the other were philosopher because they think beyond human reasoning.

Am a philosopher and I love my course because I know what you don't know about life.
tell 'em o.

jaryeh: I don't think any course is useless, but some courses give a slimmer chance in the labour market compared to others. These courses are mostly imposed on the students as a result of their not passing the cut off for their preferred course. IMO,any course apart from the ones below will most likely be among them.
1. Medicine/Surgery.
2. Engineering.
3. Accounting.
4. Economics.
5. Law.
6. Mass communication/Languages.
7. Agriculture.
perhaps you meant the most competitive courses though I agree with u on just 3 or 4 of the listed. Where do you put the management/administrative courses?
