crackhaus: What salt, pepper, and injury?

It's in the Bible, something about a couple selling their property and going to church to pay only half of the proceeds as offering. Do you know what happened to them (Ananias & Saphira)? They died for trying to con God.

She will go to hell.
U must be kidding me, that scripture is totally different from her own situation.

obiscolly: Very true..i get so hyper with my close friends that they think i'm going crazy at times...lol. Good to know i share similarities with a lot of people tho.. sometimes i just wonder if i'm alone in my own world cool
The feeling is mutual.
FamilyRe: Introverts Lounge (Extroverts Pls Keep Off !!) by pappyrose(f): 5:17pm On Aug 29, 2014
obiscolly: Can relate with that. Sometimes I guess there's a transition point between being introvert and extrovert in a person's life. My mum usually says if anyone told her I'd be this calm, she wouldn't have ever believed. As a child I was definition of extrovert and a real noise and trouble maker. Lol. I know something is usually responsible for this transition, but I wonder what it is. Ultimately, I'm glad I made the switch cos I love who I am now smiley
I think age and experience play a serious role in this. Another thing that I think contributed to mine was that people started insulting me for never taking anything serious. I made joke out of every issue either serious or trivial issues, I had to start learning how to 'couple'. I only catch fun with my inner caucus but when I'm in d midst of unfamiliar people, I play very safe cos I don't want to be embarrassed.
FamilyRe: Introverts Lounge (Extroverts Pls Keep Off !!) by pappyrose(f): 2:19pm On Aug 29, 2014
REDBUNNY: Being an introvert makes me see a lot f things from different perspective because since I hardly talk,I observe, analyse and think before I say anything. I love my bed,I love spending time with myself. My people have stopped trying to get me out of my shell. I can be indoors for weeks I don't mind, give me a phone and good books then I'm good to go. I hardly make friends even when I do,I don't know how to keep in touch so the friendship dies off. Except the conversation is meaningful count me out. I love being an introvert but when you really get to know me I could be fun for a few minutes.
U ve simply described me here. Sometimes I feel I'm too complex and people close to me say I am. I used to be an extrovert and somehow, I started withdrawing to myself till I got to this point. Sometimes I wish I could do without people.
Really working to improve though. Finding it hard, but just trying.

Christianity EtcRe: Things I Wish Christians Know. by pappyrose(f): 2:10pm On Aug 26, 2014
This is just the rare truth u spelt out here. Especially the point that pastors are not infallible. Yes, we should honor them, but we shouldn't assume they have more power than other believers. Every true believer has as much access to God as any Pastor.
The issue of church too, God doesn't even deal with denominations, He relates with all believers, and loves us all regardless of our denominations.
I wish more church goers will come to the
knowledge of this truth. Thanks for sharing.

jesus watched him suffer and almost shit his bony ass to death, science came to the rescue, he gave thanks to jesus. smh
The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit.

U will only worry urself to grave if u continue like this. If u don't understand a thing, its either u seek knowledge or u ignore it.
Christianity EtcThe Reality Of Being More Than A Conqueror In Life By Joyce Meyer by pappyrose(op): 5:35pm On Aug 18, 2014
Romans 8:37 says that Christians are “more than
conquerors” in this world. But do we really know
what it means to be more than a conqueror? I know
it took many years for me to learn what it means and
how to live the victorious life Jesus died to give us as
believers.

Learning to Conquer
I remember many years when I went to church
faithfully every week, yet my private life was
pathetic. It was so frustrating because I really loved
God and was a born-again believer, but I wasn’t
experiencing victory over the problems in my life so
that I could really live for God and help people.

As I eventually grew in my
personal relationship with
Christ and spent time
studying the Word, I came to
understand what it means to
be more than a conqueror
and how I could get there.
And if I can do it, so can you.
To be more than a conqueror
means that before you ever get a problem, you
already know that whatever problem comes your
way, you can overcome it through Christ. You live
with confidence that God loves you no matter what
and He will never leave you nor forsake you. And
when you have this kind of relationship with Christ,
you aren’t constantly afraid of bad news or of things
that may happen that aren’t in your plan.
When the
unexpected happens or you’re disappointed, you
won’t be devastated by it.
See, when you get a revelation of who you are in
Christ, you know that with Christ on the inside of
you, there is nothing that can happen that’s more
than you are because there’s nothing that’s too
much for Him! (See 1 John 4:4.).

It’s so important for us to get this truth down in your
heart and see yourself as more than a conqueror
through Christ Jesus. If not, then Satan will frustrate
and confuse you and keep you from victory. And all
the enemy wants to do is kill, steal and destroy what
God wants us to have (see John 10:10 ). He wants
to diminish you – make you small-minded and small
in spirit so you’ll live a small, frustrated life.

Getting to Know Jesus
But we don’t have to live that way. Every person
who confesses that Christ Jesus is Lord, repents of
their sin and gives their heart to God is a child of
God and belongs to Him. And in Christ, we are made
right with God, we are His righteousness, and we
have the power of Christ in us to live right.
So as we spend time with
God in prayer and studying
the Bible, we can access
the wisdom and strength
we need to make right
choices and behave right. It doesn’t happen all at
once or overnight, but we will make progress every
day that we seek God this way.

I really want you to get this revelation of who you
are in Christ as a born-again believer so you won’t
be frustrated or discouraged or feel like you’re
always under attack and just trying to get through
the day. God has more for us than that!
When you make a mistake and the devil comes and
tells you “You’re no good,” you don’t have to take on
the guilt and condemnation he wants to put on you.
No! You can immediately confess your mistake to
God, thank Him for forgiving you and cleansing you
with the blood of Jesus, and move forward in the
victory of His grace and forgiveness.

I encourage you to learn who God really is. Get a
deeper understanding of His character and His
heart for you. Know that He loves you
unconditionally. He is good. He wants to bless you
and help you. When we know this truth, we don’t
have to be tormented by doubts about whether God
cares or whether He will take care of us.
Whatever your situation is today, God knows about
it. He sees you and hears the cry of your heart. And
if you will give Him your problems and do what He
tells you to do, you will access His overcoming love,
grace and power and be more than a conqueror.
Because in Christ, as He is, so are we in this world!
Christianity EtcRe: Seeking The Face Of God - The Journey by pappyrose(f): 8:34am On Aug 17, 2014
Christmygoal: What a Happy man I am!!!finding like-minded christians online is amazing. My thirst to walk with God is unquenchable. Sometimes I feel as if I'm been too demanding. I've for sometimes now assigned my mind to wander and trail only in christ, my beloved brethrens, its not been easy.........I call it "the practice of God's presence" this title became my watch goal everyday. Where ever I go I'm always aware that Christ is there right with me. Please brethren I'm not saying this to make myself look like a righteous man but I want us to understand something.......1. It is possible to live a sin free life 2.Its possible to enjoy incredible relationship with God. 3. It is possible to hear God speak to you. 4. It is possible to commune/discuss with God (to speak to him and he speak back to you). It may be demanding but surely it is! My desire came when I read Num 12:6-8. Where God told Miriam and Aaron that he speaks to his prophets through dreams and visions but with Moses he speaks with face to face(my paraphrase),,,,,,,,then Job 33:15, Deut 29:29......unfortunately I began praying @night and asking God to speak to me in my dreams! Although I've been a dreamer from childhood but this didn't work! I got tired and started asking 4 God to show me himself like he did to Moses, jacob, abraham, isaac daniel etc. Until when I read paul in phil 3:10.....that was when I started seeking his face. Though its been tough but His grace hasn't failed! I do enjoy uninterrupted fellowship with him and also hear him deliver small still voice to me.....somehow inaudible and often 'uncompelling' . Its been wonderful........may He give us the grace that we may speak with him face to face like Moses in Jesus name.
Amen
I agree with u on this. The experience is completely supernatural. More real than reality itself.

Jeremiah 29:
12 "When you call on me, when you come and pray to me, I'll listen. 13-14 "When you come looking for me, you'll find me. "Yes, when you get serious about finding me and want it more than anything else, I'll make sure you won't be disappointed." GOD's Decree. "I'll turn things around for you.

When I discovered this scripture, I understood that going deep with God is serious business.

homesteady: If you think Anini was the greatest thief in Nigeria, then you haven't met Airtel!
I was on my own, airtel came and dash me free 15MB! Ok, for me to use the free MB is wahala, as I was browsing, they were deducting from the MB and my airtime!
I just loaded N300, I borrowed 100box from them, so they took it back, then 200box was left, I made a call to myself for 10secs(because I was not hearing the person, I was hearing myself instead)
So I then continued my browsing, the next thing I saw was that my PAYU was N190 you have N8 left! And my MB was now 11MB left!

it might surprise you to know that this is the 3rd time this stuff is happening! The 1st time I called them and they created a case for me as usual, and nothing happened! The 2nd time, I went to their facebook page, I even uploaded screenshots as evidence of the double charging, yet they did nothing, now I have called them again and they gave me another case!

Please is anybody experiencing something similar to this my case?
Ur signature cracked me up. Lol and smh.
