TEYA:This is so funny. ![]() I know one day, the people will be free from these people who use religions and tribes to divide them. |
I think Osimhen will be fine, he is a good chap I have followed. I hope this was a mistake and he learns from it. Because footballers are in the spotlight, their behaviours are publicized so I hope he does better next time. This thread is not to attack him or the coach but to learn from it. I learned from Finidi George how to handle people, both NFF and his players. If respect is not given to you, know when to walk away with your heads high. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0UxEG3qL9xw?feature=shared

Lesson 5: Be Patient The agelong advice to be patient does not mean you should be a dunce and accept everything thrown at you. It means in the issues of life, there are many things that require wisdom and patience will give it to you. Now, Finidi is gone, what does it matter what he said Maybe if Osimhen changed his mind not to take that phone, he will not make the headlines. But guess what, whoever the next coach is has taken note of the comments. Football is not the skill to win games alone, there are human games to it. Be patient because time reveals intent. As angry as Finidi was with NFF, patience ruled before he left. There is no player in the world who has made it being cocky. Life will teach them.

Lesson 4: Be Careful What People Say In this life, people are always going to talk whether you like it or not. You should be careful what they say. The press is also part of this, they will write and say nasty things about you. This is not new, footballer have to react to fans and journalists who do not have the full picture of what went on in the dressing room and it takes a toll on them. Today, I watch a lot of former footballers talk about what happened when they were active and the real events that happened. Most of them are lucky that we did not have social media back then but even at that, it was worse because whatever the Press wrote was the image we had of them. Social media has helped them to say their own truth or clapback. People will say things about you because that is the way they see you, they may not like you so be careful of too much flatter and too much criticism. Follow your path. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0UxEG3qL9xw?feature=shared

Lesson 3: Do Not Criticise Your Boss Publicly On job interviews, they always say do not speak badly about your current employer. Even though we know what it is like to work under a bad boss, you are always advised not to say bad things about them even if true. This advice is not teaching you how to lie, it is teaching you how to talk, when to talk and what not to say. This is Law 1 in 48 Laws of Power. If you think an old principle that has lasted thousands of years is useless, you will learn with experience. Many footballers have gone through this but the boss will always remain the boss. Talent is never enough, Osimhen needs national team appearances for his current and future market value no matter the number of trophies he wins in Europe. When it comes to power, eclipsing the boss is a particularly dangerous mistake. People in power need to feel secure in their position, superior to others in intelligence and charisma, and deserving of their perks. When they feel insecure, they lash out. This is Guardiola responding to all of Ibrahimovich's comments that journalists asked him. See how he responds to them https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2AzWlFg-pH8?feature=shared |
Lesson 2: Always Verify In the world of the internet and here on NL, we can easily comment on fake news. We do not know the agenda and intentions of those behind the news but they want to evoke a reaction from us. They want to cause trouble and we are not circumspect. Before the internet, people have spread malicious tales about others until the truth is revealed but the damage is done. Only truth stands out after everything has happened. Be careful about the internet and everyone in life. Always verify before you respond. Osimhen has Finidi George's contact, they can always talk directly. Celebrities do this sometimes, they read some things on the internet but they know themselves better than anonymous usernames. They ignore what you are saying because they have verified. Even though the person is pretending to you and secretly sponsored the fake news against you, they are cowards for not saying it to your face. Don't be too hurry to react. On NL here, people post stories with incomplete details and want us to comment on them.

Lesson 1: Never react when you are angry. There is a temptation to make happy decisions and sad reactions. Do not react when you are angry because you are not thinking properly. According to science, the part of the brain that is activated when angry is associated with fear and anxiety. The coach was angry they did not formally inform him of the TA but waited 2 days for them to do so. He was angry but did not react immediately. Osimhen was angry about an unconfirmed report and he became anxious, logging on to the internet and talking. With an apology, he can't take those words back, he has already aired them and it is on record.

We have read the NFF and Finidi George story. If you do not know, Finidi George is now a former Super Eagles coach who resigned because the NFF betrayed him by hiring a foreign technical adviser without formally informing him. Finidi George was said to be in a meeting with Ministry and NFF officials and they never told him officially about a foreign technical adviser being hired. Finidi did not have problems with the hiring but going ahead to bringing a foreign TA without informing him as Coach was what broke the camel's back. Finidi resigned before they continue disrespecting him. Now, the bigger story was not Finidi resigning. It was Osimhen reacting angrily to a story that turned out to be fake. NFF Meeting Sources Said Finidi Never Said What Osimhen Insulted Him For by naptu2 What can we learn from this ![]() |
Stevenbright:This one is not matter of fight, life is not fair to men but we need to know how to mange the female species. When I was younger, papa used to tell me about women, then I was clinging on to women because women will always be partial. As a man, I can now see what he said. You have to handle women in their game. This people will not stay there forever but let me tell you one thing, the moment you say one thing, that is what they will never forget and remember you for. They will not remember all the free feeding he was doing. Are you saying that my family is hungry ![]() Are we bothering you ![]() Okay i will use my money. The thing can turn anyhow. Imagine the family now buying their things or the guy sending them out claiming tough guy. I have had guys who did that, they sent family away, it never ends well. In laws are like boardroom politics, let him manage them well. They know themselves better than he thinks he knows them. A man must draw boundaries but in drawing boundaries, he should remember he still needs them in the future. This is just the first pregnancy.

OP apply sense to this case as I have advised you. People saying that a woman will not tolerate your own family for long time, of course, it is what it is. Women grew up with their families before they married you. They will never be comfortable living with in laws compared to their own family they have lived with since birth. It's common sense, manage in laws carefully. You need them and they will solve things you alone cannot. They should not take advantage of you but also take a look at what they are doing and it will help you. If you go abroad, to have family scarce so manage what you have. Is there something the siblings are doing that mama cannot? There may be some family things you do not understand that they are doing to help her that you cannot see but it is only the food part you are looking at. Manage them carefully. |

I hate to say this but I think you should just bear with them because without them around, you may have come here to tell us how your wife has changed so much since birth when she's dealing with post partum depression. So let her enjoy her family for now, it may just be helping you. do this I'm thinking of telling my wife to tell her brother and sister to go leaving only they mom and they shouldn't be coming at all, they can visit but they shouldn't stay.If you fake traveling, that's when they will feel justified to keep her company. In aw issues are delicate, tread carefully. |

Babies in adult bodies, a lot of them are insecure. Nigeria has a lot of adult babies as elites, they show their immaturity in public. Very soon, we will see helicopters as 'class'. Everyone wants to show off in their bigmanism. ![]()

thinks he's important Ironic that the crisis Wike caused in PDP made Obi leave Atiku Now the crisis Arambambi and co are causing, they want to stop Obi from leaving LP and rejoining Atiku The mind likes peace

Pecoleee345:Not necessarily. Politicians are all the same, i believe that too and I know how in this country, people like to jump on bandwagons for their own fame and recognition but it was not a surprising thing for Obi to disassociate himself from this group before they are used against him like LP. Even our current President denied groups that claimed to support him before he got there. When he got there, Jagaban Army tried to do things in his name and he removed himself from the equation.
