AMINDA: Oga, Tinubu is afraid. In 2023, he won because the North gave him 5.6m votes out of his total 8.3m. This has since changed with his woeful performance and betrayal. Meanwhile, he has barely moved the needle in terms of support among the Southern electorates. Where will his votes come from? Tinubu is not naïve. He has seen the survey. That's why he's determined to disenfranchise the opposition party in order to be unopposed.
Wait till Jan 16 2027, you will see where his votes will come from
Segunbabba: A father in Jigawa State has cancelled his daughter’s marriage after discovering that the groom supports and promote Bola Ahmed Tinubu on social media.
The man, identified as Malam Sani, is a cleric residing in the Yalwawa area of Dutse. According to reports, all arrangements for the wedding had already been completed, and the ceremony was scheduled to take place soon. However, late the night before the event, he informed the groom’s family and representatives that he was withdrawing from the marriage agreement.
The sudden decision threw both families into confusion, especially given how close they were to finalizing the union.
Community elders and mediators quickly stepped in to resolve the situation. During discussions, Malam Sani reportedly clarified that the groom had not offended him personally or committed any wrongdoing. His objection, he said, was based solely on the young man’s consistent promotion of Tinubu’s policies and political views across social media platforms.
He further argued that such political expressions reflected what he described as a lack of compassion and weak religious commitment—reasons he considered significant enough to deny the marriage.
The development has since sparked mixed reactions within the community and beyond. While some people criticized the father’s decision as being driven by political bias rather than the groom’s character, others defended his right to choose what he believes is best for his daughter based on personal convictions.
As of now, there has been no official statement from the groom or his family regarding the incident. Observers say the situation highlights the growing influence of political differences on personal relationships and social life in parts of Nigeria.
Jonjam269: If your claim were truly factual and you made such a statement under Abacha’s regime, you and your likes wouldn’t get away with it and likely be in the gulag by now. Some people would better understand the reality if they had experienced even a fraction of the military junta’s tyranny. But here you are, free to spew gibberish simply because your preferred candidate lost the election.
Don't mind Zico5, he's just an ignorant boy.
Anything his messiah Peter Obi says, he believes it
Under Abacha, there was no free speech. You can't even criticise him, if you criticise him, you either end up in prison or you get killed.
Obasanjo was sentence to death for treason just because he criticized the way Abacha was ruling
Zico5: Only a fool will continue to believe in Tinubu with this level of impunity in our polity. Just like Peter Obi said, Abacha is more democratic than what we are witnessing currently. The best the opposition can do is to cry to the international bodies for help just like APC did in 2014. These people at the helm of affairs of this nation currently do not care so far they get what they want. There supporters are even worse. It's getting too bad gradually.
esnbrutality: Who asked for bayelsa to be with Biafra?..
Its OBVIOUS your brain is tired.
Tell me where anybody has ever talked about bayelsa in Biafra? Anytime irrelevant tribes want to make noise they always highlight igbos. An igbo person doesn't own oil wells in bayelsa, but you cant dace those that steal your eesources, na IGBO you dey find? Go sleep.
Look at the map your dul self uploaded, there are some part of Bayelsa in your map.
No part of Bayelsa state or any part of Ijaw land will ever be part of Biafra
sirray001: if I had an opportunity, I will relocate. It is better off in Burkina Faso than self acclaimed giant of Africa without light, water, good security, good health system, jobs etc
Why don't you just move now? You don't need a visa
Go and enjoy Burkina Faso, the land of milk and honey
sirray001: The most important thing is having a good leader at the helm of affairs making sure that the citizens are ok. Providing electricity, water, good health system, jobs and what have you and not a bunch of criminals we have in Nigeria parading themselves as politicians and wasting our commonwealth to organise a sham election at every four years without anything to show for it. In Nigeria, democracy is not the government of the people, for the people and by the people. It is a government of the criminals
Relocate the Burkina Faso and enjoy military rule there nah
Saturnalia: Iran has shown the World that every Amerikan bully has a Persian bully.
They go about wreaking havoc all over the Globe all in the name of spreading their useless Democracy.
They killed Gaddafi in Libya because he ruled for 42 years. What about the Sultan of Brunei that has been ruling for 58 years? Because that one is their puppet.
Gold & Oil thieving bastardssss.
The West destroyed Libya.
Libya won't recover from the attack by the West for years
The fact is that if former President Jonathan's government was scared like the current government, it would have instigated inside confusion in then fledgling APC through legal processes. But he didn't and former President Buhari had given Jonathan credit for this on several occasions.
Nigerian stability is bigger than the ambition of an individual.
It seems you just start following politics.
Confusion was caused in the APC, but they handled it well.
If Bala claims he didn't resign, then he will win the case at the court and heaven won't fall.
APC lost Bayelsa and Zamfara at the court, heaven didn't fall
festacman: The legal processes aside, the root of this problem is a deputy chairman who was part of negotiation for former ADC leadership to step down for an interim leadership has all of a sudden changed like chameleon.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mINPOH6gQLU Ralphs Okey Nwosu, former National Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has revealed that officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) played an active role in the processes that led to the emergence of the party’s current leadership, including David Mark and Rauf Aregbesola.
Speaking during an interview on Arise Television, Nwosu expressed surprise at what he described as recent actions by the electoral body, noting that his experience with INEC over nearly two decades had been markedly different.
“I have worked within party processes, party leadership, and INEC for almost twenty years, and INEC has never done something this scandalous,” he said.
Nwosu emphasized that INEC officials were not only present but fully engaged throughout the procedures that produced the new leadership of the party.
“All the processes that brought about David Mark, Aregbesola, and the new leadership — INEC was there. INEC members were there; they witnessed all the processes,” he stated.
He further explained that the commission went beyond mere observation, offering advisory support to ensure compliance with electoral guidelines.
“They were part of it and they were helpful also because, before we did anything, we went to them. We told them, ‘this is what we want to do,’ and they would advise because they wanted all the parties to succeed,” Nwosu added.
His remarks come amid ongoing debates surrounding internal party leadership disputes and the role of INEC in overseeing political party processes.
INEC is there does not mean the illegality will stand
Gerhards: Does this question make sense? I forgot Daniel Bwala said once you start supporting or join APC the brain stops working
I don't understand why you're aggressive on a comment that's not meant for you.
The person I quoted claimed Iranians are bombing their fellow Arabs... And I asked him if Iranians are Arabs, but here you are pouring unnecessary anger on me
Let me block you.. I don't want frustrated people quoting me
WriteerNg: They haven't woken up anything. They're all one and the same with the US.
They're just afraid Iran would bomb them too.
NATO in its entire existence have never fought strong countries who can hit back. They quickly jump to fight weak countries with no ability to strike back (Afghanistan, Iraq)
Iran has ballistic missiles that can reach all of Europe. The fear of these missiles is what is making the US most important allies abandon the US to her fate.
The day Iranian missiles start reaching US mainland that is day the US madness will end.
The US is fighting an illegal war in Iran.
What the US is doing in Iran, is not Different from what Russia is doing in Ukraine.
That's why the Europeans do not want to take part in the unnecessary and illegal war
