RepoMan007: The list the foolish post provided from forbes claims Kuwaiti Dinar is stronger than dollar but a little research will reveal the dinar was revalued in 2007 by a factor of 1000(three zeroes removed) to make it worlds most valuable currency and not strongest.
So if as it stands today, Nigeria decides to remove four zeros or divide by ten thousand the Naira to give rise to a stronger looking naira, that goes for 15 kobo or N0.15 to a dollar, you will say Naira is stronger than dollar in real terms?
I leave you to wallow in your ignorance bro. This is the same way some people claim the cedis is more valuable than the naira. I doubt most of them know 2 or 3 zeros was removed from the cedis few years ago. |

Politics › Nigeria Will Become Net Exporter Of Food, Says Tinubu by Paraman(op): 9:26pm On Feb 11, 2024 |
President Bola Tinubu on Sunday said his administration is keen to make Nigeria self-sufficient in food production and become a net exporter of agricultural products through what he called “aggressive mechanisation.”
He affirmed his administration’s support to give ease and succour to the 2024 Hajj pilgrims.
“Nigeria will become a net exporter of food…through aggressive mechanization,” Tinubu told a delegation from the Global Tijaniyya Movement led by Khalifa Muhammad Mahe Niass, at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, on Sunday.
In a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, Tinubu emphasised the importance of spiritual endeavours in nation-building, vowing to support religious activities.
The statement is titled, ‘President Tinubu: We are determined to achieve food sufficiency for Nigeria.’
On Agriculture, he said, “Nigeria will become a net exporter of food. We are bringing thousands of tractors.
“Food production will be greatly expanded through aggressive mechanisation. We must be productive as a people.
“That is the Sunnah and the principles I grew up understanding.”
He also outlined plans to bolster agricultural productivity through various initiatives, including the expansion of farmlands, the provision of low-interest loans to farmers, and significant investments in irrigation infrastructure.
Tinubu highlighted the need for collaboration between political and spiritual leaders to advance the nation’s interests and promote unity among the people saying, “We are dedicated to equipping hospitals with modern equipment, providing healthcare professionals with training, and ensuring social welfare for every citizen, including comprehensive health insurance coverage.”
He thanked the Global Tijaniyya Movement for their support and prayers, emphasising the importance of collective efforts in building a better Nigeria.
On his part, the Khalifa of Tijaniyya, Sheikh Mahe Niass who spoke on the delegation’s behalf, commended President Tinubu for his unwavering commitment to Nigeria’s peace, progress, and stability.
Niass “expressed confidence in the President’s leadership and conveyed the fervent support and prayers of members of the Global Tijaniyya Movement to the Nigerian leader,” read the statement.
During their visit, the delegation offered prayers for the nation’s progress, unity and prosperity and for Almighty Allah to grant President Tinubu wisdom, strength and success. https://punchng.com/nigeriall-become-net-exporter-of-food-says-tinubu/?amp

Bebigiby1: With Nigeria set to play and win AFCON final tonight, Tinubu and Shettima have no business going to watch or support Super Eagles after wrecking the nation’s economy with a bag of rice now almost N80,000. Their presence at Abidjan will be an embarrassment to us and another avenue to loot and waste the nation’s forex….. If Super Eagles loss to host nation you know why already…. A Super Eagles win will be for the traumatized Nigerian masses and not selfish politicians like Tinubu…. I repeat Tinubu and Shettima have no business going to watch the AFCON final….. they should bury their heads in shame over the insecurity crisis raging the nation…. When Tinubu paid off all the wages and allowance the NFF and the country is owing the coach, his assistants and the footballers, did you claim Tinubu is playing politics? |
