kettykin: Which Nigeria citizen has ipob killed, it seems it is the other way round, Nigeria is the terrorist state, that would kill unarmed civilians and spare armed terrorists
Have you forgotten the Hausa lady that was killed alongside her children by IPOB? Or the married soldiers that were beheaded by IPOB? Or the female army officer that was kidnap sometime ago? I doubt she has not being eaten by now
NothingDoMe: lol don't compare abeg. Nigeria does not have iron dome technology. If IPOB shoots 5000 missiles like Hamas then we're finished. I repeat don't mention Hamas here again.
IPOBs have been attacking with different weapons to kill Nigerian citizens
Though they do kill themselves, but the Israelis have being killing more Palestines. Creating an independent state for the Palestines is the only solution to this mess.
creativehubb: Israel have their reasons for building the wall, obviously for separation etc, we all know what walls are meant to do.
The reason I support Israel is because Hamas aligns with terrorists and uses terrorists tactics, the whole world have an interest in standing against terrorists. Terrorists are our common enemy. They kill anyone and everyone.
Hamas tells Israelis to leave Ashkelon by 5pm Today
Hamas’s armed wing has warned residents of Israeli city Ashkelon to leave now in a chilling message.

An Al Qassam Brigades statement said: “In response to the enemy’s crime of displacing our people and forcing them to flee their homes in several areas of the Gaza Strip, we give the residents of the occupied city of Ashkelon a deadline to leave it before 5pm this evening.”
Ashkelon is a coastal city located in southern Israel and north of Gaza.

The International Monetary Fund has downgraded Nigeria’s economic growth by 0.3 percentage points to 2.9 per cent for 2023 following weaker oil and gas production.
The IMF disclosed this in its new World Economic Outlook (for October) themed, ‘Navigating Global Divergences,’ released on Tuesday.
Earlier in July, the lender projected that Nigeria’s economy would grow by 3.2 per cent in 2023. Then it predicted that growth in the country would be impacted by security issues in the oil sector.
Commenting on its new prediction for the country, the Washington-based lender said, “Growth in Nigeria is projected to decline from 3.3 per cent in 2022 to 2.9 per cent in 2023 and 3.1 per cent in 2024, with negative effects of high inflation on consumption taking hold.
“The forecast for 2023 is revised downward by 0.3 percentage point, reflecting weaker oil and gas production than expected, partially as a result of maintenance work.”
According to the National Bureau of Statistics, Nigeria’s GDP grew by 2.51 per cent in the second quarter of 2023.
Growth in the sub-Saharan African region is expected to decline to 3.3 per cent in 2023 due to worsening weather shocks, the global slowdown, and domestic supply issues, the IMF noted.
It, however, stated that this growth will pick up by 2024 to 4.0 per cent in 2024, which is still below the region’s historical average of 4.8 per cent.
Overall, global economic growth is projected to slow from 3.5 per cent in 2022 to 3.0 per cent in 2023 and 2.9 per cent in 2024, well below the historical (2000–19) average of 3.8 per cent, the IMF declared.
It added, “Advanced economies are expected to slow from 2.6 per cent in 2022 to 1.5 per cent in 2023 and 1.4 per cent in 2024 as policy tightening starts to bite. Emerging market and developing economies are projected to have a modest decline in growth from 4.1 per cent in 2022 to 4.0 per cent in both 2023 and 2024.”
Inflation, which has been on a global rise, is expected to fall from 8.7 per cent in 2022 to 6.9 per cent in 2023 and 5.8 per cent in 2024, the IMF highlighted.
festacman: I am not a fan of Atiku Abubakar but this write-up is a mere trash.
Come on, from time immemorial, politicians and businesspeople have exploited the mistakes, shortcomings, weaknesses, scandals of their opponents or competitors to their advantage. And there are many instances of election losers turning winners overnight in Nigeria because of problems with qualifications, tax returns, age falsification, etc of their opponents. Atiku didn't commit any sacrilege by dragging President Tinubu naked in the market place. He was just trying to play the game the way it has been played from the beginning of time. The fact is that if Tinubu was in Atiku's shoes, he would have done the same or even worse.
By the way, I feel that Tinubu anticipated something like this and worked ahead to surround himself with political heavyweights with heavy war hefty wallets and extensive influence.
The lack of support from PDP governors, NASS members and prominent members actually painted Atiku's legal battle as PERSONAL rather than PARTISAN. I am not sure if this aloofness is handiwork of Tinubu or it is just that these PDP heavyweights also have skeletons like Tinubu and therefore considered Atiku's actions as going too far for a mere local political contestation. Whatever it is, Atiku is fast looking like an orphan and may in fact run to Dubai on a long exile when Tinubu exercises his executive power in retaliation.
From all indications, only a miraculously favourable Supreme Court ruling will save him.
We will see if Tinubu will hit back at Atiku or not.
iwaeda: ‘Yes I used Sadiq Abubakar to sit for my WAEC and after passing my exams I went to swear an affidavit to say I am the same person as ATIKU Abubakar
You think Tinubu would be bother about all these lol, he wasn't bother about it when he was contesting he would now be bother about it now. You guys are delusional
I wander how they feel the president of Nigeria will be bothered about the nonsense someone his spilling on twitter
Stone03: Prepare your father's house for him to continue his 8yr rule. Criminal can't rule nigeria
This is the same thing people like you were saying about Buhari. He completed his 8 years. Tinubu will rule till 2027, recontest and will likely win again.
THE disclosure by the Minister of Works, Dave Umahi, that no existing federal road in the country can last up to seven years is a crucial observation that has for long been apparent to Nigerians. Tellingly, this remiss extends to state and local government roads. The decrepit condition of Nigeria’s road projects follows from an endemic culture of carelessness, incompetence, and corruption that has cost the country dearly. President Bola Tinubu, the state governors, and local governments should deliver cost-efficient and more durable roads and other infrastructure.
Umahi based his verdict on findings during his recent road inspection tour across country. He criticised the Nigerian construction industry, stating that the poor condition of the roads was partly due to a lack of professionalism and outdated construction methods. He directed contractors to redesign their projects to concrete technology rather than asphalt. This is a right step.
Umahi is right to blame professionals for shoddy workmanship, but the ultimate blame and responsibility belong to the elected and appointed officials and the agencies that award, oversee and certify public construction projects. Among these, incompetence, slothfulness and cronyism conflate with unbridled corruption in construction procurement. The results are poor roads, accidents leading to deaths, injuries and disabilities, and a widening national infrastructure deficit.
Across the three tiers of government, road construction contracts are sometimes awarded to unqualified companies. Even when they are awarded to qualified ones, the inbuilt system of graft by politicians, senior civil servants, and the field officers result in contractors delivering a shoddy job. A 2022 report said the Federal Government spent about N1 billion on repair works to salvage the Bauchi-Gombe Highway through various contracts with 10 different companies. Yet, the rehabilitated sections keep on failing. This is typical.
In 2021, the Anti-Corruption Network called for an independent scrutiny of the Abuja-Kaduna-Zaria-Kano Expressway contract, saying the cost was outrageous. The public procurement system is rife with racketeering. Apart from trillions of naira of public funds gone down the drain over the years, other infrastructure, and social services are denied funding.
Second-rate, ill-maintained roads constrain the economy and cost lives. More than 11,800 road traffic casualties were reported in Nigeria in the fourth quarter of 2021 alone, according to Statista. The Federal Road Safety Corps estimates that over 40,000 people die annually from road traffic crashes in Nigeria. The World Health Organisation said the 41,693 annual deaths on Nigerian roads represent 2.82 per cent of the global total.
Federal highways are in a shambles, militating against commerce. Some, such as the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, East-West Highway, Ibadan-Ogbomoso-Ilorin have been undergoing rehabilitation for two decades with no improvement. Some reconstructed roads are washed away with the first sign of rainfall.
A large chunk of the country’s 195,000 kilometres of roads is dilapidated owing to years of neglect. Umahi should therefore ensure quality reconstruction through diligent oversight.
In the United States, there are surveillance systems on procurement. Each department has an independent Inspector-General that scrutinises all procurement activities and submits reports directly to the Congress.
India, through decades of efficient blueprint and policy support, has developed the world’s second-largest road network, spanning a total of 6.3 million kilometres. It transports 64.5 per cent of all goods in the country, and 90 per cent of total passenger traffic.
Rwanda has significantly improved its access to sustainable infrastructure and strengthened its urban management through road construction linking its six secondary cities.
Through effective oversight at every stage, Nigerian governments need to ensure proper quality control, regulation, and material testing on road construction, repairs, and standards. Tinubu and Umahi should devise a more efficient procurement process.
The Federal Government should work with the National Assembly to drive legislation that will strengthen the Public Procurement Act.
MyExpression: Una don dey cut liver?! Renewed shege don reach you ba?
You no dey brag 4+4 till 2032...and handover to the north. I can bet you now desire to give Peter Obi a chance come 2027.
Una don see the thing wey una dey find na...now y'all just want him to do what he can and retire honourably in 2027.
We all want a better Nigeria...and that includes giving Bola Tinubu a chance. He has earned it in politics...but....seems it's a wrong time to reward him with presidency.
DMerciful: You have not read the deposition, just repeating APC propaganda. If this is what is contained in the deposition, why is APC refusing Supreme Court from accepting new evidence if the new evidence exonerates Tinubu?
Show me where the registrar claim tinubu forged his certificate.
It's not allowed in the court of law. The supreme court won't take a look at it before flinging it out

DMerciful: Tinubu has never contacted CSU for certificate rather he forged it. From the discrepancies in his academic records, there's no convincing evidence that Bola A Tinubu is same person as Bola Ahmed Tinubu because all biodata that can identify someone are wrong for him
CSU never claimed tinubu forged their certificate.
The replacement certificate tinubu got was certified by Chicago state university.
His SSN and his admission letter shows he's a male. You can't be speaking on behalf of chicago state university.
