BEING AN EMPLOYEE COULD BE HELL! |
Jesus christ was humble, tolerating, law abiding(despite being the messiah) etc. He was generous, even the things that were given to him, he gave to others, he loved little children, he never slapped anyone. he prayed for his enemies(which today's christians are not doing! i bet you can't find a christian that will give you the other side of his face to hit after the first hit, he might even fight you. And his last days, he was beaten, bruised, condemned and all sort of inhumane treatment. now, this is where my curiosity has lead me to: can this christians bear the same pain? knowing that we are christ like, can we endure? give? tolerate? die because of the WORD? when we dont pray for the enemy, we are not contented, are really going to make heaven? |

https://www.omg.com.ng/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/2Face.jpg Listen To The Songs Here I know the album is not for "azonto" freaks but da album is one thing I can't explain(my opinion). Let's look @ it from: 1) the originality. Its unlike the normal beat we hear of that makes all of 'em sounds alike. 2)Alien producers. Who are the rest producers? Except jsleek n spells, are they Nigerians?(Those guys are goooooooooood). I think the album is on A list from the begining of 2012.........what's your opinion? |
Are there no parks and cityscapes in Africa? Why do western media always picture africa as a jungle? Even some movies and music videos like coldplay's paradise did the same thing. All you see are monkeys swinging and forests from beginning to ending, don't they have forests or bushes? Why is it only Africa? |
Did I just see ''rule of law? Since when? Please Seun, anything concerning the so called FG should have a trash can, so any one who's interested should go there! Then we can identify the garbage citizens in Nigeria. |

Ok, as the lawyer said, Ndume did not have any contact with Boko spokesman until he was made a member of the commitee, my question is: how did the spokesman get Ndume's number after he was made a member of the commitee? You can fool Nigerians but bot all of us! |

Pardon me folks! I am just the curious type and the more I I tried to know, the more I realize I don't even know. Beard-keeping is it a tradition in islam? I have seen many alfas and prominent muslims clerics always keeping beards even to the ordinary floor members, some are up to about 5cm to 10cm. Please someone should please satisfy my curiosity. |
Math ke! what i really hate about it is the "find X,Y or Z" has anyone come across that in his/her field of work? moreover, the lecturers made it so hard to understand, i'm sure its not the same way in other countries. |

The Federal Government has set aside about N20 billion to offset the total pension payment to be accumulated by retiring and retired workers of the Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN) in 2012, THISDAY has learnt. An authoritative source in the power sector hinted that the money is a part of a lump sum earmarked for disbursement to the workers in settlement of their severance package following their imminent transfer to the 18 PHCN successor companies. This development is coming on the heels of resumption of negotiation between the government and representatives of electricity workers union in their quest to reconcile all labour related issues on the privatisation of the utility. Ahead of resumption of negotiation with labour at the weekend in Abuja, the Minister of Power, Prof. Barth Nnaji, had invited the Federal Government negotiating team to a meeting in his office where reminded them of government’s intentions to move the sector forward. He also confirmed that the N20 billion pension fund was available for disbursement amongst other funds for severance settlements, which he would not expantiate. Nnaji was said to have allayed the workers’ fears regarding their alleged planned retrenchment or sack without payment of their severance package and assured them that of government’s commitment to a transparent process that would lead to the eventual reform of the power sector. The source said, “Government from my understanding is desirous of opening up the power sector with its reforms agenda and has in this regards initiated measures that will lead to its success, notable amongst this is the N20 billion it has set aside to pay for the pension of PHCN pensioners in 2012. “The N20 billion has been set aside to offset the pension of PHCN pensioners for 2012 and that is just part of funds available to take care of the severance package of the workers that will be transferred to the 18 successor companies. “Now, following the directive from the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) that PHCN is no longer a market participant and payments to its workers at the headquarters should stop, the ministry as a responsible employer initiated to transfer the workers to the 18 successor companies.” He added: “But the workers are scared that if they accept transfers, there won’t be anybody to pay them severance benefits. That is actually untrue, because the government has initiated measures to offset whatever severance payment that will be made. “There is money to pay them their benefits as they are transferred and that is what the minister told the government negotiating team to tell them at the meeting, government is determined to play its part faithfully in the ongoing negotiation that will lead to reforms in the power sector.” THISDAY also learnt that government was likely to accept sensible agreements reached with the union to ensure that the reform process is not further delayed; hence, putting the whole process in jeopardy. |

I have spent nothing less than an hour on a daily basis on my dictionary for the past twenty five years and this could go from the pedestrian dictionary to the Encyclopedia and even to the Encarta dictionaries. no wonder, ![]() |
What is the meaning of Igodomigodo? So many people would want to know? Igodomigodo is a political sobriquet I have habilimented or if you like togarise my identity for a period of aeon to emblematize my culturico-spiritual fons et origo. It was an advertent stratagem to cosmopolitanize my genealogical matrix and arcane trajectory since it was not by accident that I originated from the land of Igodomigodo. The interesting thing is that IGODOMIGODO, being the pristine nomenclature of the Bini man, evokes in me the alacritous presence of the invisible “gods” of my progenitors which, by itself, invokes a luxuriation in an ancestral egregore of pristine resurgimento. (All that he has said here means that he adopted the name Igodomigo to give meaning and pleasure to his belief in his Bini culture. Fons et origo means source or origin) How did you actually come about the bombast with which you speak? Well, this question can be answered from a bifurcated fons et origo. One, I had a singular privilege of having a martinet for a father. My father was, and remains a very strict disciplinarian of puritanical and quixotic predilection. What that meant, my brother, in practical terms was that I never saw the streets of Benin outside my father’s compound after 7p.m., until I became a practising lawyer. I didn’t know how Benin looked like after 7p.m., except of course when I had to go to school. *Obahiagbon If you grew up under that type of ambience, you cannot but put your nose to the grindstone. And more germane was the fact that when my father traveled abroad, he brought with him a flyer to the effect that good speakers have ruled the world, and if you want to rule the world, you cannot but be a good speaker. I was very impressionable when he gave me this flyer which he had bought from London and for me who have always had the primus mobile and gravitating force to want to be part and parcel of the political higgi haggar of my milieu, I said to myself that if being a good speaker was the condition sine qua non for ruling the world, then I was going to do everything possible to be a good speaker and that was how I acclimatized myself very voraciously to the Students’ Companion and read all there was to read that came my way. It was indeed a period of mental lucubration and intellectual gymkhana but more fundamentally is the fact that – and I’ve always said this – for most people, the dictionary is a reference point; but, for me, for over 25years now, the dictionary is a vade mecum – constant companion that is. (Because his father bought him a flyer which says to rule the world you must be a good speaker, he started reading all there was to read with a view to becoming a good speaker because he wanted to influence the politics of his area – that’s all) How? I have spent nothing less than an hour on a daily basis on my dictionary for the past twenty five years and this could go from the pedestrian dictionary to the Encyclopedia and even to the Encarta dictionaries. What purpose do you want to achieve with that? Just to speak, or to confuse people by being bombastic and verbose? Let me tell you an incident that occurred that I want to bring under focal hiceps and biceps when I had the rare privilege to peregrinate through the green chambers, the House of Representatives, specifically. I’m talking about when I had the opportunity to describe the intended legislative gambadoism of my colleagues as amounting to legislative rascality. You remember I was to be committed to parliamentary seppuku for that idiolect. (An incident that occurred when he called his colleagues in the House of Reps legislative rascal). |
