Was she being paid to produce the documentary according to some specification by the BBC or did she produce a documentary and then bring it to the BBC to air it for a deal? Which is it? You claim she was PAID by BBC , so I am asking if you are also implying that she was paid to produce that SPECIFIC kind of documentary FOR the BBC.

Do you have proof that BBC approached her to have her make this documentary FOR THEM? Or is it the case that she, of her own, decided to make the documentary, and then decided to sell it to the BBC to get the story out there?

Opinions? Even the facts stated of Lagos, even by the governor himself, were simply that, to you, opinions? So, where do you jump from opinions to facts, and how do you do that?
Elements? How do you decide what parts of the accounts are true?
Are you somehow suggesting that Truth is now based on individual/group perspective?  Meaning just as we each have our opinions, we each have our own version of the truth as well?
Are you saying that since Iyanda is not a foreigner, her documentary is more welcome than the few documentaries , made by foreigners?   
I have not seen "Law and disorder in Lagos" so I cannot really comment on, I have however seen so many other documentaries out there on Nigeria on the BBC, Aljazeera, CNN, ABC, MSNBC, Fox, Bloomberg etc. I do have to add that I don't have a "WHITES ARE AGAINST BLACKS" itch to scratch, neither do I have a complex along the lines of feeling inferior in any way to any being out there -- When I watch these documentaries, either of starving Children in Nigeria or other places in Africa, or even right here in America, all I think is how can they be helped or why are we not helping them. 

I don't go off thinking "The skin color of the producer is white and so I will take offense to his arguments for sanity and instead  consider them condescending and offensive to my person or my nation or people because I am not of the same color or race". No, I do take time to listen, to understand the message and do what I can to help.

I believe in truth and I believe in facts . . . I believe there are absolutes/truths out there, and no matter what your perception or perspective, the facts don't lie.

The fact is Africa is impoverished; Nigeria is the largest black nation in the world and holds about the largest number of black poor compared to any other black country in the world. 

I did notice something and I feel to ask you, and any other sane individual around. Why is it that when a local(fellow Nigerian) raises the alarm we are not as moved as when a foreigner comes in to do the same?
In fact it is evident in the fact that so many similar documentaries have been produced and aired by Nigerians on Nigerian TV, but you rarely hear any noise about those. Matter of fact, I think we consider those(made by fellow Nigerians calling for us to open our eyes to what is happening around us, and the facts) simply good ENTERTAINMENT and not much else. Many of these film producer end up frustrated that no one takes them seriously and no one seems to care. But the minute you change the accent and, or the skin color of the narrator/producer, and maybe the broadcast network, almost immediately you see people taking to the streets, crying foul, and I am left asking Why? Why does it have to come down to color of skin, ego(national ego/pride etc), "whites are always out to get us", "they are thumbing their noses at us", "we have them all figure out" debates? What about the concerns expressed? Do they somehow no longer mean anything when the skin color, accent, etc is different in anyway? Is that how it should be? And I bet there are documentary producers out there in Nigeria who have probably figured out by now that you get more of a reaction when you introduce some foreign body, be it a narrator with a foreign accent or a foreign network . . . people in Nigeria tend to wake up when a foreigner is involved in some way or another. Some take up the pitch forks and cry their doom has come but others listen and many times act positively, but the main is that some reaction is obtained then.

our media should fully understand the law and rules and before assisting any foreign press should make sure the follow it under the context of the law as it is done in their own countries. ( i knw get time to pull references to back up points) anyways funmi clearly dont rules and regulation of media boards that is the reason why u get them documenting law and disorder as a sequel.
