This new chapter is just confusing and I don't mean I did not understand the story what I don't get is the need to tell this particular tale. I have to refer to Kabuto's exposition too where Kishi delved into another needless flashback within a flashback to build suspense on such a boring and outlandish fight. Right now flash backs are the new types of fillers for Kishi.

On to the story proper, Madara and Hashirama seemed to know they were enemies and it also seems like that meeting point was not necessarily beside their dwelling places, I am still wondering about the time frame though, it would mean that Hashi and Madara would have to become clan leaders at around 20 years each and elders at the same time...

rapmike: juubi does not have anything like love or hatred. that what makes it not be sensed by sensory ninjas. it takes the love/hatred of the person controlling it(now obito due to the use of his sharingan and hashirama's cells)

Like I said before, the whole naruto theme is premised on this generation strife between friends, envy, betrayal and redemption. Everything is being set us as an ultimate clash between the Younger son and the Elder son. Body vs eyes.

It is not surprising the story is going down this path.

Actually its been said that the Senju and Uchihas were already pretty established groups back then. Like the Akatsuki they were mercenaries for hire and they were so popular that when one group hired either the clan, its opponents would automatically hire the other clan. So their competition was already on. It would be too much of a stretch for me to swallow that these two (Hashirama and Madara) built their clans' beef, fueled the competition and then still had time to form Konoha when they were like in their early 30s. It just squeezes too much into a very short time frame and what is most annoying is that there seems to be no constraint on Kishi to compress the time skip like this so why is he telling such a silly story?

We've known from the early days that Madara hated and envied Hashirama. Hated him as a rival and admired him for his power. We've known that Hashirama won out in the power tussle to be the first Hokage. We've known Madara exiled himself and came back to try to overthrow Hashirama.

You'll need to read Naruto more carefully...the story is similar because it follows a similar theme of friendship and bonds and redemption. The strife between both sides started since the Younger Son vs the Older Son of the So6P. It moved on to Madara vs Hashirama and is now being played out in Sasuke vs Naruto. That was EXACTLY what Tobi told naruto, that he's destined to face Sasuke.

That's just how the entire story is set up...surprising that you don't know this.

That said, what I am complaining about is not so much the theme but the path he (Kishi) used to arrive there:

I'm tired of hearing this, why can't they meet on the battle field, weren't they scions of rival clans?? What are the odds that enemies would live so close to each other their kids would interact? Did u ever see Naruto meet any kid from the Hidden Stone village as a youngster Abeg it's my fault for trying to apply logic to so an illogical show, I watch Naruto for the fights ONLY now, I was so disappointed I actually rushed to the Bleach manga which seems to have picked up some interesting points now...Zaraki Kenpachi just learned the name of his Zampaktou!

Kai Skales' part in this song was on par with the best any day. The song is a nice

Techniques all have flaws true, but the Rinnengan IS NOT A TECHIQUE, its the ultimate form of Doujutsu. If you say every Kekkei Genkai has its limitations that is true but that in itself doesn't make it flawed, just human.

I didn't even bother reading your post totally because it is redundant to me and childish. What you saying is that because these people don't believe in God they should risk life and limb to spread their doctrine? What doctrine they don't believe in any higher power so whats to be gained by taking the 'good news' to where it would have them hurt or worse, it is actually our religions NOT COMMON SENSE that demands we should put ourselves at risk to spread our doctrines, don't castigate atheists on having common sense, its free and I wish religion would use it once a while too. His opinion, which incidentally is about OTHER PEOPLE, will be for public consumption if he does not keep it to himself especially where said opinion is totally bereft of rationale and common sense.
