I keep saying, Ferguson backroom staff instilled laziness into our players and 'killed' some. Our players became the most lazy in the EPL and the older one retired before their age mates in other clubs. If Terry and Distin can still play very well why shouldn't Ferdinand and Vidic? The “false 9” is logically goddamn named. At the beginning of the game, they are typically deployed as a striker. However they don't hang on shoulders of defenders as a traditional No9 would. Instead, they retreat deeper into the pitch, joining the midfield, and creating a six-man midfield.

So if Eurosport reported that Chelsea deployed a 4-6-0 formation, they are damn right and the joke of the millenium is on you for not paying attention.

Emphasis is on d word "false" ,meaning he could play anywhere in d midfield ,a false nine lined up in d formation of d team is listed in d position of a strike but dat is not his role ...
