Why will they not be useless, when every thing in Nigeria is political. Even to build federal airport you still apply tribalism. Imagine useless states like katsina, Gombe n Bauchi having federal airports where as viable states like anambra with a commercial city like onitsha n abia with a commercial city like aba without federal airports. Who will use those northern airports ?is it the almajiris or their poverty ridden citizens. See how the Enugu n owerri airports are doing well despite having ph n uyo functional. Now they have started the marginalization with rails, building massive railway structures along northern lines for ppl who do not need it, then in 5 to 10 years they begin to lament how fruitless n useless the venture was.
Tribalism is one reason this country is n will continue to be a joke.

do you've the idea the mini bus is sold. I've 750k at hand, do you know the amount I should hustle for to add to it

The price went up after the Lagos state government banned keke marwa n okada in Lagos . Just before the lock down I bought one for 850k , but that is just for coupling cos the bus does not come in full . The guys from ladipo imports the parts n components and then assemble or couple them for a customer when he pays.
So the 850k is for the coupling, after which you now take the bus to a panel beater, painter etc. The extra work would take you roughly 100k to put the bus in perfect order. So the total package for the mini bus should be around 950k.

It depends on your routes or the routes you want to ply. Would you like to drive long distance because UBER customers may require that?

Two, what type of customers do you want? Do you want the regular customers or UBER customers made up mainly of the middle class upwards?

Three, what hours of operations do you want to run your business. UBER gives you the latitude to operate during the night, pick up night crawlers or club rats or night workers and all that. Although with Corvid-19, there might not be much customer traffic during the night.

Four, UBER will give you more peace of mind from Agbero disturbance than the Suzuki bus. Are you willing to put up or not to put up with their wahala?

Lastly, how much do you want to make. I think you may make more money with the car than with the bus.

But both vehicles if well managed and without accidents can give you good returns. But mind those points above and base your decision on them.

You think driving all day is peace of mind abi? Or you don’t know that Ubers are the most disturbed ppl now. With vio n frsc constantly on their neck n trail.
Most of them now work only at night or device several means to beat government officials during the day.
As for the mini bus , the agberos would only bother you when you don’t pay their dues.

Don’t make the same mistake that I made .
I bought a mini bus sometime ago n in less than a year was able to raise about 1. 5 million to buy a Toyota Corolla for uber.
This was a mistake I ended up regretting cos the Corolla I bought almost twice the mini bus made a weekly delivery of 35 k where as ,the min bus paid me 30 k weekly
If I had bought 2 mini buses with that money my weekly returns would have been 60k as against the 35k the Uber guy was delivering. So guy u better invest that money on a minibus n continue to multiply it until you have made enough money to acquire a Toyota Corolla while still having your minibuses running. The corolla would then just be there for convenience.
My point is if what you want is to make money... go for the mini bus.
In terms of stress ,they are both stressful .

I got exposed to Ikwerre Igbophobia when I stayed in Rumundara in Obio Akpor . It was a horrible experience. These people get angry with you as an Igbo man if they notice you understand their dialect, they openly show you unprovoked hostility.
I asked Igbos around and they told me its the norm, they have gotten used to it. I was mad with them, how could anyone get used to such, I had to conclude my business there and left as fast as possible.
To understand better why the hostility, I joined Ikwerre facebook pages. The first thing you would notice there is the constant reoccurring Igbo bashing topics by members there. After months of being mere observer I gathered courage to ask these people what Igbo did for these hate. I got no reasonable response other than things like Igbos are greedy, Igbos are money ritualists, Igbos wanted to take over our land in Eastern region, Igbos Biafran soldiers attempted to wipe away Ikwerre villages during the way and repopulate the villages with Igbo people.
I asked for proofs of the allegations, non was provided, instead I and got attacked from multiple angles same time by these people, like a cockroach in the midst of chickens, and before I knew it, they started attacking the admin for letting an Igbo man in their page, and then they deleted me from the page.
It was a horrible experience for me. Before then, I was one of the Igbos on NL that label any one coming to NL to claim Ikwerre and attack Igbos as Yoruba people.
It was after this horrible experience that occurred to me that those people were actually Ikwerres, and even if they were not, they were not different from normal Ikwerre man you would meet in PH or online, as far as Igbo hate is concerned.

There is alot of ignorance in Igboland about Ikwerre people and indeed all ethnic groups in SS.
Our parents didn't prepare us enough to handle these people, our people erroneously see these people as brothers , but they see us even worst than they see Yorubas or Hausas.
If these people have a missile and it's up to them, they will not hesitate to wipe us off the surface of the earth. The hate I witnessed there was unreal. It's better felt than told.

When you have time, go through my posts, I have been a long timer here, you would see that like you, there was a time I argued blindly that Ikwerre is Igbo and tagged dissenting voices here as Yorubas.
We all grow everyday. I grew when I gained knowledge and experience, and since then, I have embarked on my own personal research about these people, hence my recent changes in opinion and attitude towards these people and topics relating to them.

Am beginning to get really pissed off right now,
I just hope I do not transfer this aggression on a colleague of mine who is of ikwerre descent when we resume tomorrow. This is really nauseating .

1. Ph has always been Ikwerreland just as Aba is Ngwa land, or Owerre is Owerreland, etc.
Any non Ikwerre person in Ikwerreland is a visitor just as any non Ngwa person in Aba is a visitor. It doesn't matter by how much non Ngwa people outnumber Ngwa in Aba, Aba remain Ngwaland. There are no native Igbo group in PH. PH couldn't have been Igboland, unless Ikwerre accept they are Igbos.

2. Igbos in PH are immigrants and have no claim to the land. If you continue reasoning like this, be prepared for a second abandoned property. Better learn to invest in Igboland and leave Bini land (PH) for Ijaws and Bini Ikwerres.

3. The Ikwerres and indeed the Ngwas have the right to choose to no longer be part of Igbo nation. You will be stupid to want a people who don't want you. The logical and rational thing would be to reject them too and deny them any right they could possibly enjoy if they claim Igbo.

4. Fulanis in Niger are indigenous there and are not recent migrants, the ones in Nigeria conquered the Hausas and established their dominion there. Do you want to engage the Ikwerres on war of conquest in this modern era just to claim their 3.5LGA areas? Look, Aba is an Igbo city from its foundation till 2020 as we speak, but its only an Igbo city because the indigenous tribe there, the NGWA , are proud Igbos as of this very moment. Therefore thanks to NGWA being a part of Igbo nation, an Nsukka man can comfortably call Aba his City, since his Nsukka tribe is Igbo just like Ngwa.
If tomorrow NGWA pulls out of the Igbo nation and float an independent ethnicity, like happened in Rivers state where every town and LGA is an independent ethnic nation, then Aba would cease being an Igbo city and become an NGWA city, and you would therefore be wrong to claim that Aba was once an Igbo city and must remain an Igbo city, even when the Ngwa owners have rejected the Igbo tag but show an instinct hate for anything lgbo.

The land of port harcourt is an Igbo land right from inception. Igbos are the majority( both indigenous n migrants)so therefore that automatically makes it an Igbo land, and the last time I checked there was no plebiscite conducted that says the igbos in port harcourt chose not to belong to the Igbo tribe or even Biafra in the future. So whats your point? I never said or claimed rivers as a whole is Igbo speaking.
Clearly there are igbos in port harcourt n rivers state n those igbos have said repeatedly they are igbos.
Some ikwerres are the ones jumping up n down with cries of not been igbos.
So you can see your illustration makes no sense here.
Assuming the igbos in ph decide they are no longer igbos n consequently not part of Biafra, then your illustration would now be subject to debate.
Or where in the world do a part of a tribe wake up one day n decide they are no longer part of that tribe like you illustrated . The ngwas can never wake up one day and say they are no longer igbos, I mean thats an abstract.However they could wake up n say they no longer want to be a part of the nation Biafra n if they are allowed to go, they still retain their Igbo ethnicity even though not part of the larger Igbo nation Biafra.
In other words ones tribe is always constant while citizenship can be changed. After all we have fulanis in niger, Mali n even Senegal. They are all Fulanis but belong to different nations. So in this context the fulanis can refer to a city populated n owned by fulanis in Senegal , mali or niger as a Fulani city, even though such city is domiciled in a different country.
If a plebiscite were conducted in ph today, am sure the igbos would carry the day. So there fore from the analysis above ph is a part of igbo land. Even Wikipedia agrees with this.
