Happy Birthday Ms Okonjo Iweala....but our economy is still oil dependent.

And we are still depending on imports, imports ,imports.

And we don't have industries.

Hope your successor changes all that.

(No offense.....but Ms Okonjo-Iweala knows all about how damaging resource dependency is... she did not change our economic system. )
seriously, but she made ur economy the largest in África n one of the fastest growing economies in the world.

One thing I love my state "Anambra" for, is that they give women chance more than other states.
Most Nigerian powerful women hail from Anambra.

But Stella Oduah? undecided It seems like my people haven't learnt their lesson(s).
Elected that woman again to continue looting from where she stopped. embarassed
Keep shut If u dont know wot to say.its unfortunate dat some nigerians decided to frame this lovely woman up .
For ur info i know Madam stella very well, she used to be my boss before she became a minister n i can tell u dat she is one the most intelligient, hardworking, kind n honest personality that i hav met.
Iam very positive that she would deliver.

So unneccesary n clueless .questions we must ask .
Do we hav to endanger the lives of Our military commanders to defeat boko haram ?
Did America relocate their head quarters(pentagon ) to iraq,afghanistan n Vietnam? .
Are the generals the ones the ones to fight boko haram?
Is the war against boko haram still a military war ?cos i think it is more of an intelligience war, like wot the cia n the kgb did during the cold war.

In my own opinion the president with this order,is Just grabbing at straws !!!!

Politics › Re: Buhari’s Anti-corruption War Takes Off by pasol4real(m): 5:13pm On Jun 06, 2015
I donot see how this wud help the fight against corruption. cos the ministries themselves are the main source of corruption. the ministers sometimes even help to reduce the level of corruption in the ministries .pmb's Eyes in the ministries shud be the ministers.
I Wonder how he wud monitor the ministries he knows almost nothing about ,without the ministers .
I think pmb shud employ incorruptible ministers to sanitise this ministries, instead of giving them powers to do n undo, which wud eventually lead to increased corrupt practices in these ministries.

What is wike? It sounds like an uncompartmentalised cosmoparallel plutoican cajol. Is it a noun? Weak or WICKEd - How is it pronounced? Nigerians do bear a lot of funny and wierd names. Ebele, orubebe, akpabio, wike, diezani, iweala, tinubu - whats the meaning of all these? I think majority of nigerians are a bye product of some form of ceasaranean anticataclysmic mophosis.
u left out Buhari,obasanjo,saraki,Lair Mohammed, kwankwakwakwaso,aregbesola,ogegun,atiku .
Truly nigerians have funny names. cool cool cool

And all of a sudden

It doesn't matter that someone condemned the attack of the military on Bokoharam

It doesn't matter that someone described an attack on Bokoharam as an attack on the north

It doesn't matter that someone urged muslims to vote only muslims in a secullar country like Nigeria

It doesn't matter that someone committed to the spread of sharia across the country (the feasibility is a diff topic)

It doesn't matter that someone instigated the death of over 1000 Nigerians just because he lost an election in 2011

It doesn't matter that someone enacted retroactive laws to deal with a select set of people

It doesn't matter anymore that someone ended democracy with the barrel of a gun to assume office

Does it really not matter anymore..... Time shall tell.

We might have just killed morality and damned our sensibilities to the HOPE of a better Nigeria.

And please don't tell me he is my president for the next 4 or 8 Years cos I know that already and that is not the thrust of my thought process.

In sane societies, these would matter. Even if he wins such elections, he would be approached with so much consciousness and carefulness but not with all open arms because the words of a man defines a man and people hardly change.

Just before you scream Sai Baba..... Something must be wrong with the black race.
My bro ,u cud not hav put it better
This country is cursed.
This country is damned
This country is doomed

GUNZnROSES:
GEJ will never be forgotten in the annals of Nigerian history. A man who rose to power through dark sentiment using the devious “I had no shoes” and “fresh air” mantra to insult the collective intelligence of the people . The common wealth of the people, the status of Nigeria in the international eye has plummeted to the lowest ebb you can ever think of. The economy has lost its trajectory. The middle class is dead and has been buried while investors and small business owners have all packed up their wares. Corruption is so inundating in this Jonathanian administration that those who fail to adore its toga are slandered and relegated (Sanusi comes to mind) from the political equation. This country has never been doomed to this extent. Critics might attack me for leaning to the extreme on the continuum but I would rather you call me a wimp than lavish in blind optimism.
Wanted to respond to ur useless analysis, but decided u werent Worth dignifying ,at least ur last sentence prooves that .

It is u who is strwpid, dumb n sentimental .só u want to compare gej's tenure with that old ape's tenure. gej did by far better in terms of agriculture,Power, telecommunication, rule of law, education, health, petroleum, infrastructure, aviation road construction rail construction .etc.
Obj only did better in terms of fighting corruption n the economy.
