Let me share a little story with you, 15-18yrs ago when i had nothing, still struggling with life and staying with my parents, no lady wanted to date me and of course the average nairaland girl will say what am i looking for in a relationship, that am a broke guy, i don't even need to think about it not to even woo a lady but when things become better i should approach a lady. That speaks volume about the type of ladies roaming around the face of the earth now and what happens again if no more money? Back to square one, so what we are operating on is called Scam Love.
I wooed a lady people taught i was dating then due to our closeness and she said and i quote " i can't date a man with 2 legs becuase my last break up is with a man with 4 legs( a car)" 15 yrs down the lane, i worked harder with the help of God, family (mostly my Mum), i became a better person, a sailor and things started becoming better, presently earning 7 figures per month.
Funny enough, one day the lady i talked about saw me in sagamu driving a convertible Volvo C70, never sighted her but she saw me and somehow, somewhere collected my number and called me, said i just forgot about her and abandoned her (can you imaging that?)
It's really bad the calibers of ladies the society is churning out now, most are nothing to write home about, ladies who can't stand the test of time.
It's very very sad how we got to this situation as humans

Men and women should continue deceiving and duping themselves. You shouldn't speak up because it has to do with marriage. Speak up when women are degrading themselves. When they deceive men and take their money. It is at their youthful age they plant the seeds of what they'll reap.

Unless he is rich enough to have two different homes; one for himself alone and one for his family, still u ought to know if u are smart and attentive to details.

When a woman is ready to settle down looking forward to meeting Mr right abstinence is one thing the walk towards. They decide to keep themself clean. They cant bring back their virginity so rather they choose to abstain for the right one. A woman cant say she is ready for marriage you are not sure if the person you want to date will marry you why waste time again. At a time plastic bottles are causing nuisance in the environment, parents in Morit International School, Ajegunle, Lagos have found an economical use for them. The school now allows parents to pay their children’s fees with cleanly sorted plastic bottles gathered from the environment.

This became possible after the school adopted the RecyclesPay Educational Project, an initiative of African Clean Up Initiative (ACI), an environmental non-governmental organisation in Lagos.

The school authority embraced the initiative following their concerned about reducing the burden of parents paying their wards fees. Over 25 parents of the low-income school have embraced the initiative whereby parents bring plastic wastes on designated days.

Wecyclers, the recycling company attached to the project comes to collect the plastic bottles after weighing what each parent brought.

Proprietor of the school, Mr. Patrick Mbamara, described the RecyclesPay Educational Project a a welcome initiative. ‘It is helping to cushion the financial burden of parents in the school. We have a history of parents finding it difficult to pay each term school fees of N7, 500.

“The money from the PET bottles is not much but it balances for what the parents can pay. I and my staff are happy with this initiative. It has improved parents payment of school fees and it teaches the children how to manage their waste and promote a cleaner environment.”

Mr. Alex Akhigbe, Chief Environmental Officer of ACI noted that the money realized by each parents might look small but it is of value. He explained that a kilo of the sorted plastics goes for N20 to N25, adding that little drops of money realized helps make up for the balance of the school fees.

His words: “PET bottles in the past were seen as waste but they are not anymore. Parents can raise money from collecting them and making them available to recyclers. They in turn convert it to other products usable by man.

“The recyclers weigh the plastic bottles and pen the kilogramme each parent brought. A kilogramme of PET bottles goes for N20 to N25 per kilo depending on the recycler. If a parent comes with 10 kilo, he or she will get N200 to N250. It looks like a huge effort is required. However; it’s valuable to the environment and parents struggling to pay their children’s school fees.

“Wecyclers comes two times a week to collect the sorted waste from the parents. This is to encourage parents who do not have space in their homes to be storing the waste.”

He concluded that the project, which started last year, was first introduced to Morit International School, Ajegunle. He added that more schools across the country were buying into it.

Elated by the commitment to the RecyclesPay Project, management of the Miss Earth Nigeria surprised the parent. Twenty students, whose parents showed active participation in the initiative were given scholarship by the organisation during the ‘Pick that plastic and stay in school’ held in the school.

The scholarship served as part payment of the school fees. The gathered recyclable of the parents will be used to complete the school fees for this term.

Maristella Okpala, Miss Earth Nigeria 2018 said Nigeria is a consuming nation and some people were not aware they could benefit from littered PET bottles, hence the need for thesensitisation.

Ibinabo Fiberesima, founder of Miss Earth Nigeria, who also donated waste bin to the school said if the environment is kept clean that it is the only way to live.

Mrs. Agnes Frances, one of the excited parents and beneficiary of the scholarship was full of joy for the surprise gift from the management of Miss Earth Nigeria. The 31 years old trader, whose child is in primary 1 said they have been struggling to pay school fee but the RecyclesPay Educational project is a good support.

Mrs. Mosurat Sulaimon, whose child is in nursery 1 said she participated in the project because of what she needed from it. She used her space at Boundary market, Ajegunle to heap the waste till collection time in the school.

The Recyclespay Educational programme is running presently at Morit International School, Ajegunle, Lagos and Road 12 Learning Center Ikota, Ilaje Ajah, Lagos.

It would also start next term at Monarch Base Private School, Alagbado, Lagos and some other schools.

HELP! My Wife Is Abnormal

Hello house, Pls I need mature advice on this issue.
I had to create this account as to remain anonymous.

I've been married for 2 years plus, with a son and expecting another.
The problem is that my wife is not proud of me, not proud to be associated with me and does not show excitement concerning me or gifts that I buy for her.. She is just too plain, too emotionless.

It started from our dating days.. We dated for a year plus.. She never wanted people to know about us. Always hiding me. As if the relationship was a secret. She never asked me for a pin.. I was happy she wasn't the demanding type.
When I proposed to her, I expected her to go over the moon, show excitement and flood social media with pictures.. But no way.
She was just mute and calm about it. She didn't even accept the idea of pre-wedding pictures when I suggested it.. Said it wasn't compulsory, she doesn't have time and energy for that..Few weeks later, she uploaded very beautiful studio pictures of herself alone in nice clothing, shoes, accessories on her facebook timeline without any caption about getting married or love.. Nothing about me at all.

Wedding came... She opted for a small quiet wedding.. Although we could afford a big wedding.. I was surprised.. So unfeminine... Women always prefer loud crowded weddings to show off.. She was supposed to be extremely excited as she was getting married esp at over 30 years when a woman is considered by societal standards to be hopeless and too old for marriage but no! She went about the whole festivities like nothing special was happening to her.

After the wedding, she didn't upload our wedding pictures on social media like normal women do. I then uploaded few pictures of us and tagged her. She immediately untagged herself and told me I could post whatever I wanted without necessarily tagging her.
Months after, she uploaded 2 pictures of herself alone in wedding gown and traditional attire.. None of mine till date.
She doesn't have any picture of me or us together on her facebook profile, she doesn't upload any picture of me or us on her whatsapp. It's always her picture alone or with our baby or her parents and siblings.
She hardly even takes pictures with me at social functions. She prefers personal pictures. Sometimes, she will even crop me out of her pictures and post only herself. She just keeps going on as if I don't exist. When I ask her why, she says she doesn't need to display me online to know she is married to me.
On my birthday, she didn't wish me HBD on any social media platform but she uploaded pictures of her 2 male colleagues at work(she is a medical doctor, a surgeon in training and planning to relocate abroad soon) and wished them HBD, wrote nice things about them.
Back home, all I got was a small get together, cake, drinks and gifts but I would have preferred to be acknowledged online as well. On her birthday, I dare not show her off or say anything on social media, she won't find it funny.. She prefers everything we do is private.
The part that breaks my heart is her attitude towards gifts.. When I met her, she was working, earning big, lived alone and had a car.I was happy she wasn't demanding or greedy... But I noticed if I buy her something, she just coldly thanks me and that's all. I am an Architect, working in a firm and also into private jobs.. I recently completed a project and was paid in millions.. I thought I should surprise my wife so I bought her a new car(an SUV).... She acted so plain.. Just said thank you and that was all.. Instead of displaying it all over social media platforms, write lovey dovey epistles about me and celebrate me like other women do.

By all standards, I am handsome, tall, dark, educated, nice guy, well to do, so why is she not proud to show me off?
Why does she not want me to show her off?

In all fairness, she has been a very nice partner so far but why this cold abnormal attitude ?This is not how women ought to behave.
I am getting tired already,i have discussed this with her but she doesn't wish to change.
What could be wrong with her?
