ComputersStarcomms Suspends Customer's Accounts Indisciminately by Passworded(op): 10:26pm On Nov 25, 2009
About 2 weeks ago I had a messy experience with starcomms (Izap). I tried to connect but to no avail and my subscription status was active. I called the customer service without concrete info only for the third customer care officer (third call) to finally open up to me telling me that my account was suspended for unauthorised downloads which he said he coukd not explain, imagine my disgust, this was done without prior notification I went to their head office in V/I to request for my internet history report and what starcomms terms as unauthoised downloads at least to avoid a repitition of that embarassing experience. i was told that a representative would call me on that only for them to send me an SMS on a number that cant be called back.

It would seem to me that Starcomms has made money and no longer needs subscibers or are tryin to effect a download limit on their network but dont know how to go about it.

FamilyMother Microwaves Her Baby To Death by Passworded(op): 10:33am On Sep 13, 2008
What has the world turned to??

- A mother was convicted Friday of killing her month-old daughter by burning her in a microwave oven, with jurors rejecting a defense attorney’s claims there was evidence that someone else was responsible.

China Arnold, 28, showed no reaction when the jury’s verdict was announced and then lowered her head, looking down at the defense table. Relatives in the courtroom cried and covered their faces with their hands. They later left the courthouse without commenting.

Arnold was found guilty of aggravated murder and could be sentenced to death. The jury was scheduled to return Tuesday to begin hearing evidence in the death-penalty phase of the case.

Arnold was accused of killing daughter Paris Talley in 2005. A judge declared a mistrial in February, and the retrial began Aug. 18. Jury deliberations started Thursday following closing arguments.

Attorneys on both sides remained under a court order Friday barring them from speaking publicly about the case.

Testimony from cellmate
Prosecutors said Arnold intentionally put her baby in the microwave oven and cooked the child to death after a fight with her boyfriend.

Arnolds’ cellmate testified that Arnold confessed to putting the baby in the microwave and turning it on because she was worried her boyfriend would leave her if he found out the child wasn’t his.

The baby’s DNA was found inside the microwave in Arnold’s apartment, prosecutors said. A forensic pathologist testified that the girl likely died after being burned in the microwave oven for more than two minutes.

Defense attorney Jon Paul Rion told the jury that Arnold couldn’t remember what happened and was probably too drunk that night to have put the infant in the oven. Another forensic pathologist testified that Arnold had a blood-alcohol level nearly four times the legal driving limit.

Jury rejects boy's testimony
Rion also told the jury there was evidence that someone else was responsible.

He cited testimony from an 8-year-old boy who said he saw another boy walk into the kitchen of a nearby apartment with the baby, heard the microwave go on, and then later saw the burned baby in the microwave.

Judge John Kessler declared a mistrial Feb. 11 after he privately heard testimony from the juvenile.

In rebuttal, however, the 8-year-old’s mother testified Wednesday that they lived some distance away and they were not at Arnold’s apartment complex when the baby died. Her former live-in boyfriend also testified that he was certain the boy was not at the location.

soji wats up?
u wud agree wt me that there is no way u wud buy a for @ 2.6 and after 4-5 yrs sell it btw 1.8-2mm, who go buy amhuh??
how much wud d brand new car be @ that time
Toyota is the most valuable car when it comes to second hand and i dont think u can get a sell that good, come to think of it who even buys new ford talk less of a used one, i dont know, huh
of which i wanted to ask where did u buy ur yaris, as in which dealerhuh
cos im surprised that u wud say that abt her bottom cover, i know dat car very well

mayb u shud really think of suing Toyota, grin
AutosRe: Whch Is Most Preferred? by Passworded: 3:02pm On Sep 10, 2008
Personally of the three cars d Ford is the finest, but to me thats where it stops

sojioguns:
Below are a few options that arent available in the other 2 cars:
- tiptronic gearbox
- information computer (analyses mileage, engine problems, etc)
soji those functions in the ford are what scares me the most of the 3 as u can see its the most sophisticated and automated of the three but why on earth did ford forget to cover the engine from below

I was shocked when i opened the hood and saw that it was totally opened underneath, that car is not meant for this country especially with the wet and rainy season, imagine what would happen when the fan belt picks up some puddles of water of the road, with the degree of automation in that car there would be problems, i still find it hard to understand why the bottom is opened.
Another thing is it longdevity of use, i dont see that car lasting up to 8yrs talk less of a second hand value
the other two have second hand values

Also maintenance and parts are scarce in the ford, everywhere with the sunny and also with the city,
i dont see the ford as an everyday nigerian car

, just my 2cents,

Please i would like ppl in the house with constructive unbiased views to give me their opinions on the prospects on working @ PWC with respect to career advancement and professionalism cos I know most banks actually pay more

I would also not mind if it could be compared with the prospects of working in a bank in Nigeria

Simply put where will one be 4-5years down the line in either institution with respect to promotions and all??

@all those who say that that was reckless spending

1. I would agree with you if you agree with me that we dont need stadiums (especially beautified ones)
2.I would agree with you if you agree with me that we dont need Plazas and Shopping Malls
3. I would agree with you if you agree with me that we dont need to have beautiful airports
4. I would 110% agree with you and even leave my religion if you can spare your next and subsequent internet bills on that poor man living across your street
5. I would agree with you if you agree with me that you dont need a computer (look at those poor people on the road u have a pc and you can type, most of them dont even know how to hold a spoon)
6. I would agree with you if you agree with me that Nigeria should sell National Theatre to alleviate Poverty (that is so not gonna happen) grin
U SEE THAT MOST OF THE SCENARIOS I LISTED ABOVE ARE FOR PERSONAL BENEFITS, THE CHURCH IS NOT A PERSONAL BENEFIT

HOLIER THAN THOU PEOPLE CASTING STONES
God forgive you all

If the Pastor is spending money on the Church then Glory to God (as u can see its not on himself). How many of you spend money on your family members talk less about ur friends, talk less about beggars
Yet you come on the internet to post up pictures of poor people and make a couple of self justifying comments
We are all Hypocrites I TELL U HYPOCRITES

If u wanna cast stones please evry1 start cutting personal excesses, like camera phones, more than a pair of shoes, 24hr online services, DSTV, and u know the others, Valentines day gifts, etc

The Church spent money on the Church and people are makin noise, The man could av conveniently diverted funds and no one wud know about it, yet ppl are makin noise,

@ Seun
of course the church has branches, but u know what, conventions are done for almost the same reason we have world cups and the country is jampacked with tourists, (at least the world cup cud be decentralised)
the same reason familes converge for christmas, (they cud just call each other), the same reason people go for celebrity shows and not watch their tvs, the same reason why there are assembly grounds in secondary schools, the same reason, i cud go on and on, the reason??, ur guess is wrong, When it comes to Christ, There is power is assembly, that is why armies move as battalions,

remember feeding the fivethousand, dat wud not av been happened if the people were decentralised

where 2 or 3 are gathered, u know the remaining of the passage

The truth is that na only God know who dey worship am, so Let him be the Judge,
God is not mocked, watsoeva a man sows, that he shall reap, so let us be careful, check the bible for stories of those who made funny comments about men of God,

Finally, let me give you somethin to bite on, the auditorium has not even been completed yet, so evry1 hold ur breaths,

nothing is too expensive for God, u wud believe that if you know him

Thank God his ways are not ours
Christianity EtcRe: Redeemed Church Opens World's Biggest Auditorium, Costs N7.7b by Passworded: 12:46pm On Dec 12, 2007
The world is not the problem at all
Its the people in it, we are all hypocrites,

People build mansions, buy jets, for heavens sake, some even buy streets,
but no, its common place so being the hypocrites that we all are, we just shrug it off,
now a Churh builds a house for God (take note i used the word Church), Note that its for God, not for the Pastor, where millions of people
can come to worship God in ambience, at least we have world class clubs, cinemas even Gambling houses where people can carry out their activities in a relaxed and comfortable manner, but yet, being the hypocrites that we are, its a pastor we pick on,
also, the money is a realisation of an accumulation of believers who share the same dream.(not one person's money)
believe there are some nigerians who actually have this kind of money as individuals
one thing is for sure, THERE IS GOD, please do not be fooled,

That auditorium was not built so as to accomodate more people, noooo, the members of the church are already enuf to fill up that auditorium, it was only built to ensure that aevry1 worshipped God in a place befitting, but being the hypocrites that we are,

The best thing you can give to any man is salvation , not material things, cos all other things will follow once he surrenders, please take note that i am not trying to appeal to anyone's conscience, its just that it is better to live like there is God and finally realise he doesnt exist than to live like there is no God and finally find out he exists.

I am not claiming born again, but i know the truth, and thats one thing i will always stand for, i cant decieve myself

ANYONE WHO SAYS THERE IS NO GOD IS A FOOL, !!!!

things are gettin a little interesting,
@Edosio
your right u know, the young digi vs ganja mind battle was close, i thot the same too, but digi took it,

@evry1
teckzilla vs young digi, very interesting match up,  wink, wudnt u sayhuh

@evry1 and edosio
i dont know wat y'all feel but i think there should be a limit to the number of lines u can spit to make the battles fair cos if someone drops a verse with 16lines, he is already on handicap if his opponent dropped 30 lines, and the downside of this is that ppl will start either on purpose or subconsciously to write long verses which wud bring the bore into the whole thing, (if someone drops a verse b4 the other then the other guy wud wanna drop somethin longer no matter how long the first person's own was)
also judging a battle with line restriction wud be easier because it wud be easy to catch those who love to go off point,
, just a suggestion,

@spottie
its clear you're not a rapper at all, you're just a product of listening to a few rap albums, watching smack dvd etc and going to the "I too can do it" seminars,  grin

whats a line lifter,
going by your terms, your also a line lifter because "i'll give it to you just how you like it girl" line is a 50 cent line

go and listen to jayz i think american gangsta, where he used about 4 of eminem's lines to start one of his tracks
the lines were from eminems marshall mathers album, it goes as thus, now i cud give a f*** less, what do i think of success it sucks, " DOES DAT MEAN JAYZ IS A THIEFhuh

also on a lighter note, your stonecold like steve austin line is played out, evryone has used that line its even on one of my old verses which i had to modify because i battled someone that actually spat it, , but the difference between me and you is that i realise the fact that such wordplay could easily find its way to anyone's head, just like me sayin i got more focus than ford vehicles, thats somethin thats not too far from anyone's mind,

anyway i rest my case, u have dissolved yourself, lol

wait a minute , i've hrd that bruce lee line before
