PoliticsRe: Why You'll Never Vote For Goodluck Jonathan? by Pataki: 7:09pm On Apr 04, 2011
He is nothing but an apron tying President.

Fish brained President, the most clueless President Nigeria has ever witnessed in 50years of existence.

A total catastrophe to the acting capacity of a President.

One of the most dishonest President in Nigeria's democratic dispensation. He says one thing on facebook and acts contrary in real life.

A bloody thief and a spineless PhD holder who has no gut to deal with the affairs of Nigeria.

He is better off, fishing in the creeks of ND than making an unfortunate representation as the leader of Nigeria.

His ''Fresh Air'' slogan reminds me the nuclear pollution in Japan.

Nigeria is not with blessed natural disasters, but the likes of Jonathan, makes the hurricane of Japan look like a child's play.

Nigeria needs a leader not a goodluck.
PoliticsRe: Why You'll Never Vote For Goodluck Jonathan? by Pataki: 6:29pm On Apr 04, 2011
Oh God, where do I start fromhuh

I will not vote for a man who is a liar, a friend of murderers, looters, terrorists, a man does not know what security of lives means, a clueless man, a man who cannot uphold the integrity, honest value and hardworking value of a nation. Such a man is none other than Goodluck Jonathan.
PoliticsRe: Military regimes and anti-corruption initiatives by Pataki: 3:26pm On Apr 04, 2011
Must you deranged people keep posting subject headliners that are false, mischievous and totally bereft of any well thought out process? The verbiage you posted, referred to Buhari in that article as thus:

In 1984, the General Muhammad Buhari regime brought in the Special Military Tribunals Decree to deal with corruption in government. It was believed that draconian anti-corruption measures, including long prison sentences and forfeiture of assets, would assure the public of the regime’s seriousness in fighting corruption. It differed from the criminal code in that trials were conducted by a tribunal, chaired by high-ranking military officers and with serving or retired judges of the High Court as members. Under this arrangement, appeals could only be made to the highest military body, the Supreme Military Council (SMC). These tribunals convicted a number of high-ranking public officials including some Second Republic state governors, ministers, presidential advisers and state commissioners. Many of them were sent to jail after conviction.

In August 1985, another coup brought General Ibrahim Babangida to power. His regime released some of the public officials awaiting trial for corruption and also set up a panel to review the cases of those convicted under the Buhari administration. Many that were convicted of corruption under the Buhari regime were released by Babangida. According to Edwin Maduagwu, a renowned Nigerian political economist and regular columnist in Nigeria’s Guardian newspaper, “Babangida saw corruption as a legitimate tool of governance and used it extensively to shore up support.”10 Indeed, the Babangida administration was synonymous with corruption. Little wonder that he referred to himself as an evil genius!
So pray tell me, how did Buhari institutionalize corruptionhuh

Would the moderators be kind enough and correct this silly error from one of these pro-GEJ bigots?

efisher:
So in your opinion, these people do not matter as Nigerians?

That is exactly the problem with the old ideology. It is never about the interest of everybody. It has to hurt a huge chunk of people to be good. It has to benefit only a certain group. The earlier we start being tolerant and stop branding others with different views negatively, the better.

GEJ believes in equality. Nobody should be treated as a rag or as not important. Nobody should be branded as "mere". That is what we need today. Tolerance and respect. It is a tough battle but we will get there.
I think you should preach this your message to GEJ and his PDP governors.

I think you should reach out your message to GEJ who called other political parties in the SW as rascals.

I think your message should start extending to PDP governors who shut out meeting venues for other political parties to use as this has happened with CPC not once, not twice, not thrice!!!

I think your message is more needed to NTA and the likes who prefer to reject adverts/campaign messages that speaks of the disease that is plaguing us in Nigeria.

Or maybe I am wrong, and I should see things just like your set of Nollywood stars.

Nice thread.

This one is coming from the chief pro-GEJ bigot ever witnessed on nairaland:

This is one funny thread. I remember when GEJ referred to Atiku as a wrestler (for his grasping, clueless methods), I think the same applies here.

I hope those who think GEJ is a man of humility will think twice. This is the same man Beaf has defined for us as quoted above with his own mouth. He goes around opening his Presidential gob in an un-presidential fashion.

Olu Jacobs you should be ashamed of yourself.

At least now, we are getting to know those who can do anything for money.

May the innocent bloods that GEJ/PDP members have shed across the nation in the last 12 years hunt you foolish people and fans of GEJ.

I weep for this nation that has totally lost its value and dignity. Where there is no more conscience to speak for the right things. Where our youths have become jobless and useless to themselves and the nation.

I weep for the celebration of madness and ineptitude, that has become the norm in the last 12years.
PoliticsRe: Fela On Buhari - Beasts Of No Nation by Pataki: 7:45am On Apr 04, 2011
At least it is worthy to note that the likes of Fela existed in the 80s to sing against the ills of OBJ, IBB even the so-called democracy we had under Shagari, Fela called it Demonstration of Craziness.

So what gives? cheesy

Unlike in this present dispensation, where the clueless President is running towards praise singers such as D-Banj, just to win the sympathy of Nigerian youths and likes of Onyeka who shamelessly would do a video praising the most outstanding clueless Nigerian President, ever seen in our 50years of Independence!
PoliticsRe: What Attracted You To Support Buhari/bakare 2011 by Pataki: 7:15am On Apr 04, 2011
I support Buhari/Bakare because:

1. Buhari is a man of integrity and sincerity. He never makes a promise he cannot fulfill.

2. Buhari built a refinery which the PDP government has not been able to achieve in 12years.

3. Buhari demonstrates that money is not everything to life. A good name is better than acquired stolen riches.

4. Buhari ensured that during his days as PTF chairman, there was honesty and sincerity. And he never got any monthly salary from his position. Stating that his monthly military pension was more than enough for him.

5. Buhari has contested twice in for Presidential elections under the democratic dispensation and he lost. And on both occasions, he has gone to the court to contest it out. This truly shows how refined and well behaved this man is.

6. Buhari ensured that PTF presence was felt across the nation.

7. Buhari fought against Indiscipline when he was military head of state. So much that in the early 80s, the fear of ''KAI'' (Kick Against Indiscipline) was indeed the beginning of wisdom.

I remember a certain clueless President as above^^ telling Nigerians to pray that the people behind October 1, 2010 bomb attack would come out and repent. I guess this religiously crazed office holder is still in praying inside the blossom of Mrs. Dame.

Surely, Nigerians are going to say no to red-eyed religiously crazed office seekers as the image above who are absolutely clueless about governing the affairs of Nigeria.

My theory is that he has been reached in one way or the other.
I'm not saying he was bribed or anything, most likely the powers-that-be have decided that they cannot have the most popular website in Nigeria as a haven for Buhari and Ribadu enthusiasts. The site has thus taken a massive pro-GEJ bias in the last couple of weeks.
Everything positive about GEJ is stickied, ditto every negative news about Buhari finds its way to the front page.

I can't blame the guy; his site, his rules. He has to look after himself too  grin
Exactly my line of thinking! I just really do hope he is not making a big mistake with this action of his.
PoliticsRe: I’ll Sign Foi Bill But … , Says Jonathan by Pataki: 6:39am On Apr 04, 2011
Tasked on his failure to attend the earlier debate organised by the satellite television channel, NN24, he said that he could not have abandoned the matters of governance to attend all the requests for debate that were made to him. He claimed that he received as much as twelve requests from different organisers for television debates.
And yet, this foolish President could attend a D-Banj interview the day before the NN24 debate?

How much of this dumb thinking process are we Nigerians going to allow further from this crass clueless President?

And to be honest, i just want his incompetent as*s out of Aso rock.
9ijaMan:
Apparently he sent the fake MEND guys who had tea and biscuits with him in Aso Rock after the October 1 bombing. The guy keeps living in self denial. Those thugs who even visited him at Aso Rock even went as far as stating that MEND had seized to exist. Yet we've had at least 4  bomb blasts incident after the October-1 incident and everything has now been swept under the rug.
Afterall Dokpesi the main suspect of the Oct-1 blast is now a member of GEJ's campaign crew and the chief suspect, IBB is one of GEJ's numerous fathers!
It is rather a more glaring stance to Goodluck to show that he should resign, if so far he has not been able to resolve a problem from his own region.

Pataki,

what is being said of Buhari are serious issues. It will be nice if you do not twist it toward Goodluck. Also note that Buhari as head of PTF used 80% of National fund for only a section of the country because he is from there. That is sectionalism at its worst.

The Leaders Nigeria need are national leaders who will see the wholecountry has his constituency, not someone like buhari who sees himself as a northwesterner, then northerner before regarding himself as a Nigerian.

How can will be sure that if Buhari is voted in, he will not use 80% of the federal Budget in the North just as he did with PTF fund.
Oga,

There is nothing serious with those issues that has not been addressed over and over again on this forum.

How people suddenly claim PTF fund was used for the development of the North is at best put to be ludicrous.

I remember as far back in my secondary school days in Abeokuta, PTF donated desks, and laboratory equipments. One of the first project PTF undertook was in Lagos. The Federal Medical Center at Idi-aba in Abeokuta was well funded by PTF back in those years. I remember vividly commissioning upon commission of various projects and equipments handed to that hospital back then.

I would be doing great injustice and high dishonesty if I said, I never felt the impact of PTF.

And most shocking enough, I never knew it was a Buhari behind this development nor did I know, this same man never collected one dime as a salary for being the PTF director but rather preferred to remain solely on his pension.

Now tell me how does this man connote as being tribal and a religious bigot. Shock me with an amazing discovery.

I would not entrust the leadership of my nation into the hands of Goodluck. He is highly incompetent and utterly clueless about this country.

Like Buhari stole from the treasury of the nation when he was head of State? Like he stole from the nation when he was PTF director? Like he stole from the treasury of the nation to set-up oil blocks for himself or perhaps even build a mansion for himself in Abuja?

The same Buhari that refused to collect a salary during his PTF days and stated that his monthly military pension was enough for him and did not get any monthly salary as PTF director.
