Six Secrets to Success at Work Apr 29, 2015 By Jack and Suzy Welch How many people do you know who are truly happy at work? Are you one of them? We recently surveyed American professionals throughout the nation and learned that nearly a third feel trapped in their careers and passed over for promotions. Don’t count yourself among them. If you’re feeling stuck, here are six operating principles that can put you on the path to a stronger career trajectory — and, we hope, to the kind of success known as happiness. 1. Find Where Your Passion and Skills Intersect We have a concept called Area of Destiny, which is the very rich territory at the intersection of what you are uniquely good at and what you love to do. That’s where you should be building your profession. 2. Make Your Boss Smarter No matter where you are in your career, one thing never changes. Every day, it’s your flat-out responsibility to make your boss look good. You have to make him or her smarter — about your industry, your customers, your competitors, your products, and technology — all the time. 3. Know When to Leave a Bad Boss Great bosses are generous bosses. If you feel your boss doesn’t in some way have your best interest in mind and want you to grow, you’ve got to have the confidence to move out. 4. Give Yourself a Deadline Don’t let work feel like a grind. If you're unhappy — or you just aren’t all-in — you have to put a time-frame on how much you are going to put up with before making a change. 5. Don’t Fear Failure The thing about failing — because you will fail if you take risks — is that you realize you don’t die. You just pick yourself up and keep going — and how fast you get back on the horse says a lot about you. 6. Never Stop Reinventing Yourself Who wants to just “retire”? Banish that word from your vocabulary. You’ve got to constantly reinvent and take a chance on something you’ve always wanted to do — it’s what keeps you alive. You’re never done. |

Meteor Island costs N7000 to unlock and takes 3-5 working days donsheddy1: |
What network and country is it locked to? |
You mean how much they promised to pay but they couldn't. LRNZH: |
Is rivers the only state where corps members are posted? How about states with lesser revenue who pay without telling stories like your Amaechi. Please stop defending incompetence. Demdem: |
Orikinla:He's still better than amaechi in terms of paying workers. My friends that served in rivers between 2012-2013 are yet to receive their state allownace till today. |

All Nigerian leaders, past and present are rogues (Buhari inclusive). Anyone who hold the belief that any of the past or present leaders is innocent is either a definition of "Ignoramus" or is from another planet |

RIP to the departed gallant soldier More victories to our gallant soldiers More headshots to the senseless insurgents God bless Nigeria! |
How durable is it and what are the specs? MizTyna: So i have been hearing about the Infinix Zero for a while, and as a samsung and blackberry loyal customer,i thought it was all talk, until i was given the phone recently. And i can say this, for a phone that will be sold less than 30K,it is virtually a steal! For one,the Camera quality is out of this world! I mean,it rendered me speechless. The screen is HD,with corning Gorilla glass! it even has 3D wallpapers!I played candy crush, while checking Instagram,at the same time tethering(using the phone as a mobile hotspot) and the phone lasted several hours without getting hot! No freezing or apps closing anyhow, the phone is sleek and stylish i just thought something must be wrong for it to be this affordable! And i found out it will only be sold through e-commerce and only on Konga, hence the price since all the outlets expenses and selling to stores who in turn add their own prices is out of the way. Everybody who has seen the phone with me all loved it! The Infinix Zero really is worth all the fuss! |
I'll definitely be using this service in my next shipping. Nothing compares to honesty and good customer relationship when it comes to business. More grease to your elbow OP |
A responsible guy will not ask a lady he just met after 2weeks for money. What happened to all his other friends. . . |
I wonder why ladies keep referring to marriage as a destination in a relationship. If you are dating because you want to get married I take it that your partner is a means to an end to you. And there's high probability that the love will die once you are married since your aim for claiming to love has been achieved. Live one day at a time and share your views, dreams and aspirations with your partner from the word go. If your dreams or lifestyles don't align, you know the next step to take One love. |
