Happy vigilante to new mums...
I'm eight weeks postpartum and my episiotomy site has not healed completely. I went to complain last week and was prescribed Augmentin which I've finished using. The pain from there subsided but a small wound site is still there close to the opening of my vagina (according to the person that checked me). Could it be my body that has a slow healing nature? Please suggest me what I can do to speed up the healing process.
Note: I've done the sitz bath something, what else can I do?

I'll keep trying. She manages to take very little plain pap occasionally and I feel it's not nutritious enough.
People that were against me doing ebf are giving me that I told you so look

Don't worry yourself too much just keep on giving her and also try little bit of other food she will come around some day. I know it is not easy have been through that stage before you will be fine.

Please how do i transition to giving other foods?
It's been 2weeks now since we clocked 6ms and no progress has been recorded.
Ive tried plain pap, pap and formula, cerelac and even just formula. She doesn't want any of those, not even water.
Don't want to waste money trying different brands of milk and cereal.
I even tried the beans and mackerel porridge, same result.
I've tried feeding her when she's hungry but she still refuses to take it.
Dh has tried feeding her on several occasions, ive used feeding bottle, plate and spoon, still same reaction. Today for instance I waited for about 5hrs since she sucked BM last and gave her pap, since she was obviously hungry but she still refused to take it. I had to give in, she's sucking and smiling now

mama all it takes is patience since i read in your other post she takes pap just keep at it, slowly but surely your baby will eat, had that experience with my son till he was 1 , it was after he clocked 1 he started picking up and now he eats everthing. just be patient and continue the process.

As at 2011 October, I had vaginal delivery with no complications. Just induced with a tablet that didn't even work. Our bill was approximately 40k. A lady had twins there (vaginal) and she and the hubby were shocked when she was given bill of 70k in the same year 2011 o. Who knows what their charge would be now? We all assumed since it was church hospital, it would be affordable kind of. Since then, I no go again and I always tell anyone that asks hold your money o.

That is exactly my thought that since it is a church hospital it should be cheap. Thank sis it is well.

Had my son at St. Timothy in 2011. My aunt was the matron then and she handled my delivery. Don't know if she's still there now. Good hospital with good service if you can afford it. Their mouth don big now o

still try it have been on family planning since November 2018, so am sure it just got tired of staying in my body, just make sure any one you take you do not wait till the expiring date before taking another lol

when family planning fails, i was craving for bitter leaf soup early Monday morning last week and i kept on looking for it through out the day feeling funny, in the evening i bought pt strip for a sister of mine who was acting funny, one mind told me to try the pt strip since i was behaving funny too lo and behold i saw two double, heavy lines.

This could only be God because, i have a serious condition that i did not need to get pregnant in this time and season. was on family planning that is suppose to expire September 26 2020, but look at me 6 weeks gone. it is well

I agree with mama zaynie on frequent headaches especially during 2nd trimester, me I had headache till I gave birth just let her always rest her head, a lot of the times she should be in a sleeping position even when she's not sleeping that helped me a lot , but you see eh that headache can be very stubborn, don't worry she will be fine and keep away from stress too.

Hello mamas, please I need an answer to enable me round up my shopping. What is the essence of disposable panties? Can normal sanitary pants serve same purpose or is there a reason for preference? Also, which brand of disposable pant is best? Someone suggested I get always. I have no knowledge in that area. Also, how many nursing bras should one have at the minimum? Is it worn at night too or just during the day? I’m someone that doesn’t like and tight stuff on me especially when home and my burst isn’t big too so I hardly wear normal bra except when leaving home. Help a first time confused mama. I think these are the two things remaining for my shopping as I’ve managed to shop for others and praying for my prince to come soon.

i did not use disposable pant so i wont't be able to give a definite answer, but for the nursing bra you need at least 3 or 4 and yes for the first few months you will wear it at night and you will also need a breast pad like 3 too so you can wash and change it because when the milk starts rushing it will stain your clothes and your foam and the smell is not so nice
